I bought these sneakers to do Tracy Anderson dance cardio. For me, they didn't have enough support. I felt unsteady and as though I was going to develop shin splints. Returning. PS - I followed other reviewers' advice and ordered a size up. These run quite small and narrow so it was definitely a good idea.

I'm on a mission to find the perfect exercise shoe! I purchased these shoes specifically for Zumba. It's the first time I ordered THIS style of shoe and I found that for me, I still needed the support of the full sole going all the way across the shoe. I have high arches and a high instep; they just felt awkward. The other thing I didn't like was the top sides of the shoes. They are very nicely cushioned (a little too much for my feet)but they felt and looked awkward on my feet; maybe because I typically wear a size 5. I think they needed one more eyelet at the top for a more supportive fit. I think this is a well-made shoe just not the right style for my feet. I will try the Ryka Transition as it has so many great reviews. Zappos is GREAT for free shipping and returns. I know I will eventually find the perfect shoes!

I'm not sure why other reviewers have indicated that these shoes have good arch support. I have high arches and found these shoes to be painful to dance in after a couple weeks of use because there is no support in the middle of the shoe. They made the balls of my feet hurt. I had custom insoles made for my Blochs, which didn't help. The person who made the insoles looked at the shoe and said "This is an archless shoe. There is no support in the middle." If you don't need good arch support I think these shoes would be great. They made spinning and sliding a lot easier, and they are lightweight. I guess they're just not for my high-arched feet. Too bad I can't return them after having tried them out.

I was looking for a good Zumba shoe and have a high arch. The soles of these shoes are too slick for Zumba on hardwood floors and soles are "hard", not soft rubber like one might expect. Even with arch support inserts, I had to return these. They were super cute so hated to return them. Also, not enough ankle support.

I have had my Blochs for 9 months and am very bummed they have cracked all the way through the sole on the ball of the foot on both shoes. They didn't even last me an entire year. Now that I need new ones I wont be buying this brand again.

around 10 years or so ago I practiced and danced in these shoes often. They were awesome! Back then I ordered 2 black pairs and one pink. I went up one size from my street shoe size, and they fit perfectly. I wanted to begin dancing again and ordered a new pair, same size as before and I do not see how any human could wear these shoes. My toes completely are scrunched up and the shoes are not comfortable in any way, and I still wear the same street size shoes as I did 10 years ago. They must be made from a different manufacturer.

These Bloch shoes were at least a full size too small! I think they must have been mis-labeled.

Since I returned them, I don’t have much to say about them. Barely got my foot in the shoe.

These sneakers have no arch support that I can realize. They are a bit weird looking. If it wasn't for the reviews I would have ordered my size, 5, but I ordered a 6. I'm mainly returning because the right heel has a clicking sound every time I step down. At first I thought there was something stuck to the heel, but there wasn't. Returning :(

I have worn this tyle and size of Bloch dance sneakers for years. In all my previous pairs, I have added a gel insole on top of the factory-issue insole. This pair was absolutely horrible. The insole that came in the sneakers was too big for the sneakers. The sneakers felt a whole size smaller. They are being returned.

it was hard to determine how the shoes fit overall because they felt a full size smaller. Width seemed appropriate but hard to determine arch support due to smaller fit.

I ordered these to use doing Jazzercise. First, you definitely need order a full size up especially if you wear thicker socks. I usually wear a 8.5 and ordered a 9.5. The 9.5 was fine. I found that the pivot point area of the shoe seemed really slippery to me on the dance floor. I have a heavy walk and I found the heel of the shoe did not have enough cushion on it. It bruised the heel of each foot and they were sore for over a week from just one wearing of the shoes. Also, with the open arch area it felt like I was wearing heals - didn't make me feel supportive jumping up and down and hopping. I was constantly thinking about my balance and alignment. Unfortunately, these are not the shoes for me and I had to send them back. I went back to the Ryka Devotion XT for Jazzercise.

I ordered one size over my normal shoe size & my toes were still at the tip. Extremely narrow!!! If I would order 1 1/2 sizes larger they would still be too narrow!

I gave up after about 5 orders of this shoe. I am pretty sure they are considered Unisex, but I think Zappos shows them in Women's sizes only. I am a guy with an 11 - 11.5 foot. I gave up after a few orders and the size 14 still didn't fit. This is not the shoe to buy online. I have owned a pair in the past and have no complaints with the shoe. But the sizing (mostly length) is really tricky.

Big mistake buying these shoes. My feet had been hurting a lot during and after zumba, and after reading reviews I thought these shoes would help. Turns out they made it worse, because they have zero arch support. I've gone back to regular running shoes for zumba, with lots of arch support, and it is helping with my heal and soul pain.

I ordered this because I saw all the reviews about it being good for Zumba. I ordered a size up, but still found this to be a little too snug. it does not have the extra eyelet so you can't "lock" your foot into the shoe like other shoes. I would CAUTION wearing this for Zumba. IT LACKS THE LATERAL SUPPORT NEEDED FOR ZUMBA, making you prone to injuries. In addition, the height of the shoe is too high and would contribute to serious injuries. I use Nike 5 for Zumba which is flatter, provides support, and perfect for Zumba.

I'm a Zumba instructor and thought these shoes would be awesome for teaching...I was wrong. There is little arch support and the bottoms are so slippery I'm always afraid I'm going to fall while teaching. I gave them a chance for a little over a month thinking I would get used to them, but if anything they feel even more slippery than when I first bought them. For the price, I'm very disappointed and now have an expensive pair of shoes I can't wear.
