These tap shoes are very comfortable. My tapping definitely improved because my feet no longer hurt. I am wearing very thin socks with these shoes but could probably go without socks. I ordered both my size and half a size larger. My true size fit.

Zappos was out of stock on this popular item but they emailed me just as they said they would as I requested once the item was available so good job on that! I received my shoes quickly after ordering and they fit perfectly! The shoes are much nicer than I expected and the sizing is as described. I ordered a half size larger as was suggested and they fit perfectly! I would definitely order from Zapper's again.

Bought these shoes for my sister and myself for our new tap class. Ordered 1/2 a size from our regular size and they both fit perfectly! Zappos delivered them the next day and I was able to practice before the class. These are great shoes and I love them.

I love these! They are very comfortable. The material flexes with my feet so I don\'t get any uncomfortable rubbing. My street shoe size fits great. I would purchase again if needed.

The Bloch Tap-Flex is a beautiful shoe - soft, flexible, comfortable. It fits like a shoe that’s already been broken in. I have a wide foot so I ordered a size/half size up as others recommended which was a good choice. As others have commented, too, you may need to get longer laces for these shoes, which I did. I would highly recommend this shoe to any tapper. And Zappos is great. I placed my order during lunch on a Monday and they arrived before lunch on Wednesday.

I have four kids who tap all with different levels of expertise. They all love these tap shoes the best. The split sole offers loads of flexibility. These are the only shoes they will let me buy them. They don't want any other tap shoe. I have been very fortunate to find them at Zappos, I can't find them anywhere else not that I would go anywhere else to buy them.

Really comfortable shoe but runs small - This is an extremely flexible comfortable shoe, maybe a little too flexible. The shoe does run at least 1/2 size too small. The toe box fits perfectly.

Bloch Tap-Flex - I ordered your Bloch Tap-Flex shoes for my 15 year old nephew who is in a lot of dance competitions. Just out of the box, they were very comfortable, with no break-in time needed. He really puts them through their paces, and they wear extremely well. I am very happy with the purchase of these shoes (and so is he)!

Fits like a soft leather glove - Very comfortable shoe that fits true to size. Good flex design for a beginner like me. I'm an AA and it fits perfectly. Good quality in the construction of the shoe.

Comfy and flexible - The shoe fits like a glove. It was a little snug at first. I wear between a size 7 and 7.5. If you plan on wearing thicker socks then a 7.5 might work best. The cashmere lining is soft and silky. I like that the shoe has a flexible sole making it easier to perform the steps. The heel height is perfect too.

Nice soft leather - These buttery, soft leather tap shoes are so comfortable, and bought the same size shoe as my foot. They fit great!

Great tap shoes - These are great tap shoes. My daughter says they are comfortable right out of the box. She wears a size 3 and we ordered a women’s 6. They fit great! Would recommend these tap shoes.

Haven't tapped yet, but - These shoes feel very comfortable. I find shoes vary so much in fit that I'm not really sure of my true size. I have shoes from 10M-11-1/2N. I have a long; slightly narrow foot, and long toes. Many shoes squeeze me in the toe box, but not these; many times narrows are a little too narrow. These are 11-1/2 narrow, and fit me perfectly. They're soft, and yet supportive, with a high, solid toe box and soft, cushy lining. They felt like ‘my shoes’ the minute I put them on. I don't feel much arch support in them, which works fine for me. I haven't tapped in decades, so I'll have to see how that part goes!!

Great Tap Shoe! We ordered this shoe for my daughter and she loves it! She normally wears a girls 4/women's 6, but other comments suggested ordering a size larger, so I ordered her a women's 7 and it fit perfectly. She said this is the most comfortable tap shoe she's ever had.

Great dance shoe for my daughter - This is a great shoe for tap dancing. Extremely comfortable and flexible, yet provides the support needed. I only gave it a 4-star for the looks since it is a typical tap shoe and you really are not going for style! This is my daughter's second pair of Bloch's tap-flex and we will continue to buy them as her foot grows.

Zappos for my dancing needs! After going to two dance stores and not finding my size, I went online to Zappos and was ecstatic to see that they had it! I love the split sole as they're much more flexible than ones without it. I only wish the laces were a tad bit longer. Otherwise, I love them and love Zappos!

Walking on air - I'm new to tap and was looking for a shoe that is comfortable to dance in and versatile with different outfits. This shoe provides all that, and the only minor concern for me is it lacks the arch support I'd like, but with inserts it's perfect! Definitely recommend this shoe.

Sounds great, but the sizing seems unpredictable - I wear a 5.5 street size shoes and ordered these in 6 based on Bloch's sizing chart and reviews here. These shoes were still too small, so I ended up ordering and keeping a 6.5, which feels slightly big. I'm concerned that they may be really too big once the leather stretches, but there's no way I could start out with the too-tight size 6. On a better note, the sound is GREAT. They are comfortable with thin socks and don't seem to need any break-in period. Of course, Zappos' service has been great. These shoes are nothing to look at, but the sound and manufacturing quality are there. Just be aware that it may be hard to zero in on the best size for you.

Bloch Tap Flex Review - I was somewhat disappointed in the support and flexibility of the shoe. I also have a pair of the Bloch T strap heel and I much prefer that shoe to this one. I think it is a better balanced shoe and much more comfortable when dancing. My knees are more stressed and tired after dancing in the tap flex. Maybe the heel should be just a little higher. I think you would be able to strike a better sound out of the taps. You tend to fall back on the heel in this shoe.
