Too large - I ordered a 7.5 which is my street show size, and these did not fit at all. They are soft and comfy but I won't be able to dance in them or even wear them :-(

My favorite ballet for decades. The length of the sole is perfect for me and longer than the Bloch brand which hurts my heel. Unfortunately the white and black are not longer being made. That leaves the pink only.

Kind of a different use for ballet slippers! I ordered these for my daughter so she could wear them on her wedding day! We cut the elastic off and they were perfect! She loved the way they fit, were comfortable and stayed on really well with no slips! I am considering buying a pair for myself because when I tried them on I loved the way they fit and brought back wonderful memories of ballet many years ago! As always, I always feel like I can depend on Zappos for fast delivery and hassle free returns!

Love Capezio brand. Purchased to wear indoors. Ordered a half size smaller than my regular shoe size and fit is very tight. But they're leather and will stretch so all good. Can't beat the price and free shipping!

Get your regular size, leather stretches. I just fold the strap into the bottom of the shoe. Can't even feel it. Great driving shoe.

These are lovely. I got them to wear around the house. I read many reviews, some of which said they run big and others that they run small. I suspect that maybe bigger sizes run small and smaller sizes run big. I got them the day before I was off to Japan, and wore them too much to return, as I was hoping that the soft leather would stretch. I think it would, but not enough for them to be actually comfortable. I'll donate them to Goodwill, and try both a half size and a full size larger. I will say though, that even with my toes cramped inside them, wearing them around the house they are very light and ballerina-like. They make no noise; they are like barefoot, but covered -- better than socks because of the leather soles, and comfortable for summer.

I love these shoes, the look and the fit. My feet are kind of pudgy and I have long toes and they are still comfortable. In street shoes I wear a 9B and I bought these in a 9C since dance shoes are usually tighter than street shoes and I don't like tight shoes. I'm a liturgical dancer not a ballerina and my shoes don't need to fit as snugly as a ballerina's shoes.

A little small in the toe - I was so happy to get my first pair of ballet shoes since high school. They fit great in almost every way. They are just a tad tight in the toe. If I remember correctly though, that will work itself out with some wear. Overall, you can't beat Capezio for dance shoes.

Quality Dance Shoe - This was the first time I bought ballet flats without a sales person forcing me to buy way too small. I prefer buying true to size and depending on the elastics to further help with fit. These came with the elastics pre-sewn that were too loose for me, so I will have to re-sew them in. Also, I prefer two elastics to sew in a criss-cross, but these came with only one set. The gathering lace is elastic and not cotton, like most shoes I have worn. I was very surprised to discover that these shoes are made in Vietnam. I always believed that Capezio shoes were American-made. Overall, this is a quality shoe.

Looks so good and hurts so bad - I purchased my pair of slippers 2 sizes smaller than my street shoes as directed and let me tell you, one of the shoes was so tight on my big toe that I almost suffered from a hang nail! But I will suffer through my pain and they looked good, nevertheless!

I normally wear a size 11W. The instructions recommended ordering a size down so I ordered a 10D slipper. The shoes were tight initially but did stretch width-wise. However, my toes went to the very end of the shoe. I gave them to my daughter, who wears an 11M and she has the same complaint about the toe. I would recommend ordering true to size.

This ballet slipper was short and narrow on my foot; however, I have a very wide foot, so consider the source. Shoe works fine for my purpose, a once a week class. Only complaint is I wish they offered it one size larger. Please note that the sizing is in women's sizes even if you are searching for Men's, it will come up as men's but it's sized in women's sizes so order up one full size if you are looking for a man's size.
