I required an all-white, heel-covered shoe for RN school. This came recommended to me due to the lack of laces. It can be wiped down with alcohol wipes/disinfectants after a day at the hospital. You don't have to touch them with your hands to take them off - a definite bonus. Comfortable for long shifts. May want to go up a half-size if you plan to use additional supports. I found the toe box to be slightly narrow but it seems to have loosened up a little with wear. Overall, I would recommend.

I purchased Nurse Mates Dove shoes for my daughter who is on her feet all day and was complaining her feet, legs and back were hurting because of the cement floors. She said that these shoes have made all the difference in the world as far as comfort and relieving the hurt she was experiencing and she would highly recommend them to anyone who are on their feet for long periods of time.

I have found these shoes very comfortable and durable so far. As a teacher, much like nurses, I am on my feet a lot during the day. I also have plantar fasciitis so this shoe is a win for me! No shoe will cure all your problems, but I have had the least inflammation in these shoes. They are also very flexible and have good arch support.

I work at a vet clinic and I am on my feet 9-10 hours a day at work. These shoes are so comfortable and wear really well. Normal shoes would wear out and break down in about 6 months. These lasted me at least a good 10 months before I had to have a new pair, the inside doesn't have the same support, but paying a little more for these as opposed to less expensive shoes that last 6 months is worth it. They do not slip off your foot, are really comfortable and they are really light. I ordered a 10, after reading the reviews. Sometimes, I wear a 9.5 and other times a 10. I figured I'd go big, but they do stretch eventually. So, I got a 9.5 this time and they are perfect! The only thing I would say is, the tops of the toes do scuff off, but I'm pretty sure they have buffing stuff for that. That is my only complaint with the white ones. Would recommend.

Bought a 9, my normal size. Needed a 9 1/2. Easy return. Thank you! Felt a little tight at first, then with wear they felt much better.

Shoes fit well, as advertised. Was able to easily remove the insole to replace with my orthotics. Only complaint I have...they squeak when I walk. Can't use my ninja skills with squeaky shoes.

No need to break them in they are so soft. Felt they were marked one half size bigger than actual. Heel slips

I felt the white nurse mates were more comfortable than the black ones. I do like it overall. The shoes are much more comfortable with inserts.

Work Shoe - I am a cashier and I stand 8 to 9 hours. This shoe is very comfortable from the moment I put them on. Only issue I have is that it squeaks when you walk. Zappos has incredible service. Love this website.

Nurse Mate's Dove - I am a fine dining waitress that walks on a slate kitchen floor a good part of the time, so comfort is of up most importance. I also have a hard to fit foot and settled for a 6 Wide. The first few hours my feet became fatigued, it didn't seem to have enough arch support for me. I have since gone back to my old stand by shoes by SAS that have my 5.5WW size that I require especially for work.

My Nurse Mate Dove - I have always bought Nurse Mate shoes. And found that they work for me, the comfort is just great I never bought this style before. I had just bought a pair pre Katrina and lost them in the flood. I only wore them twice so I bought another pair and they are just fine and this time I have wore them more than twice. I am enjoying them very much.

Very comfortable - I am suffering with plantar fasciitis during my pregnancy and needed new shoes for my long hours on my feet at work. These have been terrific - extremely comfortable and accommodate my arch supports. They're not quite as cute as others, like Dansko, but much more comfortable. I would definitely buy them again.

Not what I need - I stand in 1 area for 8-10 hrs. Although we are on fatigue mats, it’s just not enough. I figured these might work, but seriously they don't help. I did decide to keep them for regular wear because of their look.

Nice but not holding up as I'd expected - I'm not a professional/nurse but bought these because I'm recovering PF and figured a shoe designed for somebody who's on their feet all day would be a good bet. They look like a casual/outdoorsy type of style and I wear them with jeans/khaki denim. Nobody can tell they're "uniform" shoes. My only complaint is that after only a month of wearing, they have really broken in. The support is OK, but the uppers have stretched out of shape/loosened to the point where they're slipping with lightweight socks and I am concerned they won't last a season (much less several seasons, like the Eastland shoes they replaced). I am contemplating returning the 2nd pair that I ordered for this reason, but have been unable to find one that fits as comfortably. I love the convenience of shopping online and appreciated that Zappos makes the otherwise difficult chore of finding the "perfect shoe" so much less stressful!

Really Nice Comfy Shoe for a Pharmacist - I have been wearing Dansko professional shoes for the past four years, but I decided to try something else. I came across this shoe and went ahead and ordered it to try it out. This shoe is very comfy and fits very nice. I work 10 hour shifts and it keeps me from having tired legs and feet and a sore back just as well as the Dansko shoe did. The sole is a lot softer and the extra padding around the ankle is nice. I'm glad I gave this shoe a try. Not only does it work for my profession, but I like the look a lot better also. This will be my shoe for the next few years at least.

My arch is too tall for this shoe. Couldn't get my foot into it. Returned it.

I wasn't impressed with these. The arch support hit the wrong place in my foot, I'm guessing maybe the shoe was about 1/2 a size too small between the placement of the arch and the tightness of the shoe. I returned them.

I was looking for a sneaker style shoe that doesnt look like a sneaker, for an active biz-casual workplace. These are only OK. They feel like $20-24 shoes, and look it, too. Servicable enough, and I dont have anymore time to order other options. 8.5 Wide, the sizing fit is very good, wish they were a little more comfortable, and the plastic soles had a more finished quality. Cheapish shoes at an inflated price, I absolutely expected more for $77, but Im stuck.

Been buying Nurse Mates for work - although I’m not a Nurse. Need white for summer, black for winter. Went with Meredith for summer and these for winter because they seemed to have more coverage (= warmth?). Good shoe but for me they’re not as comfortable as the Meredith style.

I love the style and comfort of this shoe and this is my second purchase of this exact shoe but what I plan on contacting the company about is the constant squeaking coming from the right foot. I am a Essential Worker and every step creates loud noise walking up silent hospital halls and I am embarrassed. Don’t know how this can be fixed and I shouldn’t need to purchase another pair to fix this problem.

These shoes are heavier than I would like. They also felt too big; I should probably have ordered a medium instead of wide size.

Shoes were super super comfortable and the siping on the tread of the soles kept me stable on even the wettest surface. Many of the reviews said these were sized small and I wished I had not paid attention. I ordered .5 larger and had to return for my true size. I ordered a wide width even though I take double wide. And yet the width was perfect for my "duck feet." I suspect this would be too wide for someone expecting to get just a "single" wide size. Although the shoes looked well made, the heel of the left shoe peeled away after only 4 months of light and mostly indoor use. I am greatful for the easy Zappos exchange expected later this week.

I ordered this in my normal size of 11W and had to return immediately. It is extremely tight across the top of my foot. If you wear a W, I dont recommend this shoe. If you wear a regular width, you may want to try the W. Also be cautious of the tongue of the shoe riding up. It rubbed against my ankle when I walked.

I bought these shoes and initially they fit. I wore to work and my feet killed me all day. I wish I bought a 9.5 instead of the 9. I have the white Meredith's and they fit perfectly. I wasted my money.
