Comfy Cozy - I have been looking all over for a pair of casual blue shoes. I was surprised how comfortable these shoes are. They look great with jeans and also nice with casual pants.

Dove Nurse Mates - If you are on your feet for long periods of time, this is the shoe to purchase. I was standing on my feet for approximately 9 to 10 hours wearing a pair of tennis shoes and my feet and legs were killing me. I came home got on the Zappos site and found these shoes (of course with Zappos great service, I had them the next day) and I love them. They are extremely comfortable and give you the support and comfort you need when you're on your feet for long periods of time. The leather is soft not stiff, but still provides the support and comfort needed. Buy them. You won't regret it. I certainly didn't.

Nurse Mate Dove - This is the second pair of Nurse Mate Dove's that I have purchased. The first pair I wore for over a year before the heel wore down to the point where I needed a new pair. I love these shoes and will continue to buy them. I am not a nurse but have had foot issues and these shoes give me the support I need in the arch and the heel. You cannot go wrong with a pair of these shoes.

Never thought I'd wear slip on shoes! I never thought I'd wear slip on shoes because nearly all the time the shoes would not stay on my feet. But these shoes are TERRIFIC! They stay on my feet and are comfortable all day long. I also need a lift on my left foot and the shoe maker can take off the sole of this shoe easily to insert the lift and the shoe looks like it was originally made that way. I buy these in a 6 1/2 and usually wear a size 6. You can't go wrong buying these shoes.

Great shoe - I am a nurse practitioner and spend a great deal of time on my feet. This shoe was comfortable the moment I put them on and they look very professional. I ordered them in navy and am going to round out with black and brown. I ordered them in wide, in some shoes I wear an 8 and 1/2 even in wide. With these, I ordered 8.

Best shoes on the planet! I would give them a 10 star rating if I could!

Great work shoe - Spending a lot of time on my feet on concrete floors, this is the shoe to wear. It’s light weight and has nice cushion. I tried a lot of other shoes and was in a lot of foot pain, but these Dove shoes by Nurse Mates, I haven't had pain in my feet at all.

Good nursing shoe - This is a great shoe if you work in an area where it's likely you'll get your feet soiled with *something*. They're easy to clean, comfortable and very lightweight. My ankles and knees don't ache after a 12-14 hour shift in these shoes. I have low arches, so for me the arch support was excellent, not annoying or causing me to oversupinate.

Heavenly Comfort! Oh my gosh, I LOVE these shoes!! I am a medical professional and bought a white pair to wear with my scrubs. They are SO-O-O comfortable! It is like wearing slippers. I was THRILLED when I found out that they also come in dark colors to wear with casual "civilian" clothes. I have purchased the black ones, and will probably purchase the brown ones as well. I have arthritis that has deformed my toes slightly, and I also suffer from plantar fasciitis. I wear a 7 ½ B and the size was perfect. I have wasted a LOT of money on shoes that I just could not wear. Not so with these. You can put them on right out of the box and do a long shift with no foot pain or fatigue. Please don't ever stop making these shoes!

Will be returning - These shoes are a tight fit to put on. They didn't feel too bad once I got them on, but after wearing them for a few hours one shoe is uncomfortable. When I looked closer at the shoes, one shoe is narrower than the other. So, I will be returning them.

I bought this shoe previously in a 7.5 and it fit like a glove! Ordered another 7.5 and it feels almost a size too big. Would have sent back for a 7, but they were out of that size. Love this shoe, but wish sizing was consistent. Zappos is the BEST!!

More comfortable than my tennis shoes - I wear them all day from 7am - 9pm. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit and FEEL GOOD all day. These are it for me! I'm going to order another pair in a different color.

Great fit and light weight - These shoes provide all day comfort. I would recommend them to anyone needing quality, lightweight and professional looking shoes.

The 16 hour stand - I am on my feet for 16.25 hours with 30 mins off somewhere in this time span. These Doves controlled my foot pain and burning for the full time. They controlled the knee and shin pain for 12 hours. After 12 hours the pain crept up. I would recommend these shoes for anyone that stands for extended periods. I also recommend taking time to rest both feet and legs.

Bought it for a gift. It felt tight at first try. But she loved it and said will grow into it. Comfy inside.

The fit was true to size, the shoes are comfortable. I like my clogs a bit better but it's good to switch it up once in a while. These shoes are not for style, so I only gave 3 stars for that. They cannot be stylish, they are for nursing school, it's about comfort :0.

I previously wrote a review about the purchase of these shoes and though they fit great they had a constant squeak but I want to say how helpful this company was in rectifying my problem. I have been wearing this style for many years. It is great when I have to be on my feet all day.

I like these reasonably well. I work on my feet in a manufacturing facility and these are pretty comfortable. I might still notice my feet at the end of a long day, but overall I'm pleased with these

This was a great shoe right out of the box, wore it most of the day without a problem - just my usual issues with any shoe due to all the things wrong with my feet. Wish it was a little more stylish, but hey at least it doesnt look like what my grandmother wore way back in the day!

The fit of the shoe was perfect. Great foot bed. I didn't care for the way the top of the shoe actually touched my leg, so I returned then. Great quality shoe though.

I started volunteering as a docent and was having lots of back pain after standing/walking in loafers for a 4-hour shift. I gave these a try. My back feels SO much better! The arch support is slightly offset to where my natural arch is, but my feet are doing OK with it.

I recently had spinal fusion surgery and wanted some easy-on, easy-off walking shoes. I had worn these in college waiting tables and knew they were comfortable. They still are. Even though the heel rise is low, the shoes stay on and don't slide around. The only complaints are that they're a little heavier than walking sneakers so I don't wear them to walk the dog. Also, the logo is sewn into the heel of the shoe. I can feel the rectangular shape of the logo with each step. Not sure what they were thinking with that. Still, not a deterrent because the tag hasn't made my feet sore.

This shoe runs narrow, but it is true to size in the length. Based on reviews, I ordered a wide, even though I normally wear a regular width. This shoe has nice cushioning and decent arch support. I like to slide my custom orthotic (3/4 length) under the insert, but the insert in the Dove does not come out. I do love how soft the leather is right out of the box. So supple and feels nice around my ankle. I ordered the Nurse Mate Sami, Timberland Professional slip-on, and the Propet Wash and Wear II at the same time. The Nurse Mate Sami is a more athletic style and requires a sock due to the texture of the inside of the shoe. It has more arch support and slightly less cushioning. The Timberland Pro wins out on arch support and cushioning. The Propet has zero arch or cushioning. If you don't have major foot problems, the Dove shoe might be perfect for you.
