Wore them right out of the box, what a miracle. Not fashionable but so comfy!

I am a massage therapist and on my feet all day. These shoes are good quality! I bought a half size bigger for orthotics and they are perfect.

I ordered several white shoes for school (Klogs, Timberland Pros, & Nurse Mates) and I ended up going with these. I will say- these run a little big. I usually wear an 8 in closed to shoes & I got these in a 7.5. I am looking forward to rocking these for the next 2 year in dental hygiene school! Thanks again to Zappos for overnight shipping and quick and painless refunds/exchanges!

Very comfortable

These shoes are very comfortable. There is no needed break in period. They felt comfortable on my feet from day one. They were a little tight at first but quickly stretched to my feet. These shoes were well worth the money. A side note about Zappos. UPS left my first order on my doorstep and they were stolen. I called them them first and was treated so rudely. I then contacted Zappos who immediately sent out a new pair, sent them overnight so I didn't have to wait long, and refunded my original shipping cost. You very rarely get such excellent customer service as Zappos have me. I will be shopping with them in the future.

Comfortable shoe, roomy toe box, good support. I can wear this shoe all day with no problems.

I obviously bought this shoe because it was attractive, in the color I wanted, and also because of the positive reviews it got. I pay attention to the reviews, and if a product does not get at least 4 Stars I won't even consider it. Unfortunately I had to return it. I have a high instep and on the top of my foot it was a bit too tight, and it felt uncomfortable. I don't believe in "Breaking In" a shoe. It either fits or it doesn't. Years ago I tried that technique and it didn't work. Thank you Zappos for continuing to be the best, at least in my humble opinion! :) Wonderful customer service (when I have called them) and products.

Another review said it felt true to size, was very comfortable and didn't need breaking in. I found the same thing. I wear 9.5Wide normally, I got the black in that, and think it's perfect for my vacation, which will involve a lot of walking and wearing slacks (instead of jeans). I highly recommend for a person who will be on their feet, walks a lot, or simply is tired of having sore feet at the office.

The Nurse Mates are superbly comfortable. And easy to put on or take off. But the most remarkable thing about Zappos was their willingness to exchange my white shoes which was beginning to separate but to send out a whole other shoe in black.

This is the only nursing shoe that's helped me last the 12 hour shift without my feet hurting at the end of the day. I have tried others, but my bunions make my feet wider than what would have been regular width shoes. My small size usually doesn't have a wide option so this shoe solved the problem. Not as stylish as other brands but definitely worth it.

Had to purchase nurse shoes for my esthetician schooling. I was looking for a shoe that I know would fit me properly and would last. These shoes fit the bill. I am a 9.5 wide and they are a perfect fit. If you find yourself to be a little more than a typical wide foot, they may be a tad snug for you. The comfort is great. I am wearing them for about 7 hours a day and I do not feel any discomfort. I do not think they are anything to look at but I don't think that is this purpose.

I was really skeptical ordering online and not trying shoes on. But I read so many reviews and I thought if nurses wear these 10 hours something must be right. So I ordered my correct size. I am in retail so I am on my feet 8-9 hours. The very first time I put on they felt great! I never had a pair feel so good the first time wearing. I absolutely love these shoes. I am glad that I ordered them! I wear them five days a week and have for two months & they still feel great. They are very well made and durable! They are great shoes!

This the second pair of Nurse Mates Dove that I have bought. The first pair lasted 5 years! These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and the are worth the price!

I am absolutely ecstatic over these wonderful "Nurse Mates" shoes. I have been looking and searching for a shoe to wear during my 9-hour work shift. I have finally found them. "Nurse Mates". They are the best shoes ever. The wide with is perfect. Very supportive, very functional. I chose white because I work in a bakery and I wear a white apron. I am so convinced by these shoes I am ordering a pair in black. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone needing good quality supportive functional work shoes. Thank you Zappos for including these shoes in your choices of styles.

This is the fourth pair that I have purchase for my wife in the last two years. They are fabulous for comfort, wear and appearance. She simply wears them out instead of herself.

These are not very cute shoes but they are seriously comfortable. They are also lightweight. I'm a critical care nurse and am on my feet for 12+ hours each shift, walking as much as 7 miles (according to my FitBit). My feet never hurt in these shoes. There wasn't even a breaking-in period, they were comfy right out of the box. I wear compression socks to keep my circulation going, and together with these shoes I avoid swollen legs and feet. My only complaint is that they are not very cute. I happily trade fashion for comfort, though! I like that they are slip-on shoes.

I was totally blown away at the service of Zappos. I placed my order on a Monday night about 6 pm. and received my shoes before 10:00am the following morning. Wow, was that fast. When I got the size 6 and tried them on they were hurting my foot where I have a bone spur, so I contacted them on ordering a bigger pair. They showed me how to print a free shipping return label and sent my size 7 shoes before they got back the pair of 6. That is true customer service. As for the Dove shoes, I work and stand on my feet all day. It's a concrete floor so nothing was keeping my feet from hurting. Nurse Mates Doves to just that. My feet do not hurt after standing 9 hours. My only regret they only come in black, other than that I love these shoes and the service of Zappos was excellent. I will order from them again...I also have 2 associates who bought the dove shoes and they love them too.

I had found these shoes in white at a local shoe store and after wearing a week at work, I wanted a pair of black ones too. There were no other colors at the store so of course I had to check Zappos. As I expected, they feel as good as the white ones and get me through a 12+ hour nursing day without foot fatigue. They are holding up well despite getting dialysis fluids on them almost every day. I can even wear them for going out shopping or running errands and still be comfortable.

Love these shoes, on my feet all day and finally come home and my feet aren't killing me. My husband loves them too, he doesn't have to rub my feet ever night.

I love these shoes! My right leg is 1.5cm longer than my left which causes foot, knee, hip and back pain. In fact, I had to have my left hip replaced because of wear the length issue. I wear a very thick orthotic to make up this difference and it is so difficult to find shoes that are deep enough to keep my left foot from slipping out.

My daughter wears these daily in the kitchen where she works as a prep cook. She finds them extremely comfortable, especially since she is able to get them in a wide width. They hold up well with all the wear and tear, plus they work quite will with the slip resistant soles, especially in a kitchen. This is her second pair, and I'm sure we'll be getting more of the same in the future.

I bought these for my daughter, a nurse on her feet all day. She loves them. They fit great, feel great and have a very good arch support.

I love these shoes and I love Zappos! With my wide feet and bunions I have a hard time with shoes. I have these in black and in white in a wide width and they feel good from day one.I wear them instead of lace up tennis or walking shoes. They were delivered quickly and in perfect shape.

Very comfortable. I have knee problems and most shoes cause me a great deal of irritation and pain. These shoes do not. They are perfect if you have a job that requires you to stand or walk a lot. I would highly recommend.

Great work shoes for anyone in retail. Very comfy, easy to slip on, and great support for those of us on our feet all day!
