The quality and comfort of the shoe has improved. This shoe is a nice full fit. Only draw back is the sole wears out pretty fast. However I still will be in the future but hope you will have them available in stores instead of online.

I love Rockport shoes. I wear them all the time. Here lately though I have not been able to get the shoes I want because the width has not been available. I order the wide. I tried three different shoes I wanted and wide was not available.

I bought the Northfield in dark brown about a month ago to replace an identical pair I had owned for 9 years. I find the design classic and stylish although the leather is not as good (looks stiffer and more artificial) than my previous pair. The fit is good, minimal break-in required. The shoe matches well with khakis or blue jeans.

I have been using this model of Rockport for years (no decades). My local cobbler can easily add my heal lift due to my short leg.

The order process went smooth, the pice was a good deal, delivery was quick but when I went to try on the shoe, there were 2 different sizes on the box of the one pair purchased. Now I am returning the pair to get the correct size for both shoes.

My husband really likes these shoes, but the price is a bit steep. are there any coupons or sales on them

I have a brown pair and now a black pair. I wanted waterproof shoes that looked right at all times, whether paired with suit/dress pants, casual pants, jeans, or shorts. I wanted shoes like these to wear for every activity that might take place on trips with a wide variety of activies: dressing up for dinner, hiking, camping, motorcycling, etc.. I didn't want to carry additional (large!) size 12s that can take up SO much room in the luggage. These shoes fit the bill! My only negative is that the soles seem to be a bit soft. They're wearing down quickly with not much usage. Still, I'm happy with them.

I've owned a pair of black in the past but always wanted the brown. Very comfortable shoe.

I bought two pairs one black one brown. I wear a size 11Narrow, which is a hard size to find. Both pairs fit perfectly and were comfortable enough to wear all day. This is the first time I have worn this particular Rockport, but I will probably buy another of each.

A good quality shoe, happy to have made the purchase.

I've bought 4 or 5 of these shoes over the years. They are waterproof, comfortable, and versatile to wear on many different occasions. They also have pretty good grip. Perfect for the walking to work during the harsh Northeast Winters. My only complaint is that they don't last more than a year, because the soft sole wears quickly but I guess that's the price of comfort.

I wear these shoes exclusively for work because they are so comfortable. I stand on my feet all day so it's an important issue for me.

So far, so good. Comfortable but haven't really put them through their paces.

shoes hold up pretty well... but the laces not so good... wear out long before the shoes

I have an issue with plantar fasciitis so a good shoe is a must. This is a great shoe. Very comfortable and I walk a lot. I doubt you'll be disappointed.. worth the money.
