Shoes were exactly as they appeared on the webpage. Shipped and arrived within 3 days - perfect. Size and fit a hair less snug than I expected, but that is not a complaint, only an observation; they feel GREAT, so the fit is fine, MUCH better than my previous pair (Sketchers). Color, quality and appearance were exactly what I expected from Rockport - excellent! Would highly recommend these to a friend, to be sure!

These shoes get compliments and look sharp for such a comfortable shoe. They are a good fit. The included insole is very soft yet supportive, as expected from a Rockport. The color is attractive but much more brown or mocha and much less red than expected for the 'dark brown leather' ordered. Honest, I'm not color blind. All that said, a good value as always.

This is a solid daily grinder. I wore this pair to office five days a week. It holds up well with me logging 4-5 miles on it each day. Be prepare to check and replace soles when it wears out. Otherwise, it requires very little maintenance.

These shoes are great!! They are comfortable like sneakers, waterproof and can be worn with slacks, jeans or khakis.

Comfortable shoes that go well with differing styles of dress. Size is what was expected and width is comfortable. The waterproof ability of these has not been tested, but walking through wet grass, the dew seems to roll right off of the shoes.

The shoes are larger than expected

Great shoes - but they have a metal piece in them, so they're not good for getting through airport security quickly. I like these shoes because they look good enough to wear them in business meetings, but they're also comfortable enough to do a lot of walking in airports etc. I wear them as the only pair of shoes I take on business travel - so there's no need to carry a second pair of shoes in my bag.

The overall fit of the shoe is good, and it's comfortable for the most part. My only comment is that it is a little sharp around the foot opening. If I roll my ankle outward a little, it tends to bite at the bottom of my ankle bone. The pad at the back of the opening should have extended further forward.

Rockport has for years now been my benchmark for comfort in classy shoes. So far these seem like they won't be an exception, however I have yet to wear them outside because the heel/ankle seem stiff and I want to make sure they'll break in first. Haven't yet tested the claim that they're waterproof--here's hoping!

I had to return the first pair of these I bought as they were too large, but they feel so comfy and cushy when I walk that it was worth it. I still need to cinch them up really tight, so I might go smaller or to a narrow next time, but will definitely buy again just for the comfort. They're holding up well so far.

Rockport Main Route Northfield Waterproof. They are pretty good on the waterproof side. They are too wide at first, skimpy orthotics provided. I took the extra extra wide because the regular wide was too narrow. These fit well but I had to change the orthotic and wear heavier socks - the kind that you would wear with sneakers, available in black thankfully. After doing that they feel pretty good. The sole has not been sturdy in this model for years and after two weeks of almost everyday wear there is some visible deterioration - but I expected that. They are lightweight for such clunky looking shoes but the toe box is wide enough so my toes spread out in a healthy manner and walking is easier as a result. The older models were better but all said it's still a pretty good buy. A real pre-orthopedic model!

I have been wearing them for a week now, so far so good. They are really comfortable. They are a good pair of shoes.

These are pretty comfortable after a couple days of break-in wear. I had another pair of this exact same shoe and decided to purchase another pair. I'm having the exact same issue though as I had with the previous pair. The shoe laces ALWAYS come untied. At work I'll walk to the kitchen down the hall and my shoes are untied, so I tie them. I walk back to my desk and they're untied again. I thought it may have been an issue with the first pair, but it's still a problem with these. I mean it's really unbelievable how often they come untied, it's endless and frustrating. I realize I can go buy new shoelaces that will probably work, but this is something I shouldn't have to do with a brand new pair of shoes. They really need to work on this. Other than that I really like them.
