This is a great pair of shoes for walking. I have owned several pairs and can't find another brand that comes close to the comfort, weight, arch support and quality of the Northfield. My only issue with the shoe is that the laces wear out well before the shoe get's started and it's difficult to find lace replacements.

The shoes are very comfortable, but the laces are starting to fray after minimal use.

Fit was nice and quality is good. The lack of shoes in narrow width is the only negative.

These shoes are quite nice, delivery was quick and, in my case, with dress socks as opposed to thicker crew socks, they fit just right. I ordered a 9.5 M, which fits, though might go to a wide if I reorder in the future. I have not worn these out in wet weather so I can't review the waterproof aspect of the shoe.

The color is more milk chocolate not "dark brown".

Very stylish and comfortable shoe. Not 100% waterproof in that where they get wet it does discolor the leather. But otherwise a great show.

I'm a teacher and I like the waterproof shoes when it rains. I wish the souls lasted longer, but you can't have everything.

Returning the pair and getting another one with wide fit

The shoes themselves look good and seem to be holding up well. However, the shoestring are falling apart even though I've had the shoes foe less than 8 weeks.

Easy to wear; however, the shoe laces don't hold good, it gets undone.

Had to return the shoe despite how much I liked it. I have an old pair of Rockport that have been great and hoped for the same with these. I have narrow feet and these were really nice but slipped in the heel when walking. Just too loose there.

I've been wearing these for many years after changing from a different Rockport for many years. They seemed to last longer in earlier years but I still buy them. I agree with others here that shoelaces wear out first. I wish they would include an extra pair in the box! I use two pair all the time, the older pair for everyday use and newer for cleaner look or more business casual.

I've been wearing this model and similar ones before that for a long time. I give the shoes 5 stars, but the laces get 2 stars. They come untied too easily, are too short to double knot well, and wear out before the soles do.

I have been wearing this shoe to work for about 20 years, so I like them a lot. Shoe laces always wear out before the bottoms. Can Rockport provide more durable shoe laces, please?

I buy 1-2 pairs of Rockports for my husband each year (different styles and colors). Rockport carries a selection of narrow shoes which is very hard to find. I will have to say this is probably my favorite purchase. This year they added this new color and a trendier bottom. They look great with slacks or jeans. FYI....this is the first time I have ever been compelled to write a product review.
