Great Shoes! Great ordering experience at Zappos!

Simple, clean favorite - I own multiple pairs of Rockport casual and dress shoes. Never a disappointment. For business casual and weekend wear, I have the Northfield and the Southfield (both). Simple, clean styling, waterproof, very comfortable - kind of a "go anywhere, do anything" shoe.

Finally, a comfortable Rockport style for long standing - My first Rockport Dressports were so comfortable that I kept getting them resoled for more than 15 years. After the tops completely wore out, I searched many Rockport styles (thanks to Zappos generous return policy) to try to find the same level of comfort, to no avail. Then I ordered these. At last: a Rockport shoe that meets my need for comfort and fit. The toe box is big and roomy and almost square, so there's lots of room. I need dressy-looking black shoes to wear while standing for three or four hours as an Orthodox Church altar server; these fill the bill. They're dressy enough, and very comfortable, if a little heavy. I wouldn't wear them in a very formal setting, though. They're also comfortable for walking and standing at work. Finally, a pair of shoes I don't have to send back! I'll probably resole these for many years.

Decent Shoe - Comfortable shoe for everday walking.

Extremely Comfortable; Almost no break-in required - The Rockport Northfield is extremely comfortable; in fact, the shoes are even more comfortable than my other Rockports. The size and width seem true. I typically wear a 9.5 dress shoe, and the size 9.5 Northfield feels just right. I finally gave up on my original pair of Rockports after 5 years of almost-daily wear.

The Only Shoes I Like - I buy Rockports exclusively, primarily for their foot and arch support design. The great stylings of the shoes are secondary to me. Every time someone asks about my shoes (which isn't often) and I mention Rockports there is always someone else in the crowd who chimes in about how much they like them too.

Excellent waterproof shoe - These shoes are great! Very light. I work in a meat market in the water everyday. My feet never get wet. They last me two years before I have to get a new pair. Also they are polishable. I wouldn't buy anything else.

Pleased, at last. This shoe wears really well. It has great support. The sole makes you walk correctly and not be lazy, but after getting used to that, I love them.

Rockport Northfield - Very comfortable and lightweight.

I bought these as a gift from my father-in-law. He loves them & says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn.

Northfield Review - I purchased 2 pairs of this shoe each year and have done so for at least 10 years (the model name and number have probably changed several times, however, the basic design remains the same). They are comfortable and provide a duplicate fit with each purchase, making them ideal for mail-order. I spend most days on my feet in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments and have not found a better shoe for the job!

Don't pass these up. I just received these shoes today and I'm ordering a second pair as we speak. The most compfortable work\casual shoe I've owned. Perfect.

Rockport Northfield- Consistant with previous Rockport purchase. I have narrow feet and this product fits well. Zappos delivery was excellent and quick.

Great shoe - Felt comfortable after only a few days. Perfect fit. Stylish for the office but cool enough for the street. The leather is a little shiny for me but I am working on scuffing it up.

The Rockport Northfield: A comfortable daily wear shoe - I'm a midnight shift supervisor in the private security industry, which requires being on my feet more often than not for at least 8 hours, often 10-12 hours per shift. While making sure our facilities are secure and my officers are at their posts, I operate in conditions which include walking on concrete, tile, grass and gravel. Adding to my woes are my flat feet and the fact I have diabetes. When I first put these on, they seemed slightly narrower than advertised and I find I can not wear thick socks with these. I attribute that more to my own diabetes than any flaw in the shoe, however. I have tried more shoes than you can shake a stick at and after one month with my Northfield's, I think we've found a winner! They are relatively light, have great treads and when worn with our uniform, give the illusion of a boot. The heel cushion is truly helpful!!! They shine up nicely, too, although they seem easy to mark-up. When I compare them side-by-side with the various shoes I've worn in the past, the old adage, "You get what you pay for" rings true. most comfortable shoe ever - I work in a grocery store and I am on my feet all day. Rockports not only last me a long time they are also very comfortable.

Rockport Northfield - These shoes are great. I struggle to find shoes that fit, 12N. As usual, Rockport came through. They felt broken in after the second day at work. Highly recommended.

Pleased with purchase. Light and comfortable. Didn't need my arch support inserts like I put in most of my other shoes.

Great Comfy Shoe! My wife talked me into purchasing two pairs of shoes recently and this was the 2nd pair. While, perhaps not the most stylish shoe in the world it certainly makes up for it in comfort. The next time I purchase shoes the Northfield will likely be 1st on the list.

Damn Fine Shoe - I find this shoe to be one of the most comfortable I have ever owned. The best part is that they are so light. I feel like I have running shoes on. I would buy a pair of Rockport's in a heart beat the next time I purchase. Thanks again, Jerry
