My husband owns all 3 color ...wears them everyday to work. He is a physician, so he is on his feet all day long. He finds these shoes so comfortable, sturdy and very reasonably priced.

I bought these for my son who is a missionary in Brazil. He said these are the best shoes for the climate and all the walking he does. They help keep his feet dry with all the rain he experiences. Another missionary recommended them. I just would have liked to have sent them directly to Brazil instead of to my home then shipped again thru USPS.

We bought a pair of these based on the glowing reviews. My husband is on his feet up to 11 hours a day and was starting to have foot problems. These shoes stopped that within 3 days and we immediately bought a second pair! They are beautiful, comfortable, well made, surprisingly light weight and worth every penny. Probably will buy several more pairs. :)

Love this shoe! Comfortable and well crafted. The sole material is soft, making long hours on my feet easy but will ware a bit faster then a hard sole shoe. I find the trade for extra comfort more than acceptable.

Unlike some of the Rockports I've purchased in the past, these are very light and affordable, as well as being cool and comfortable throughout the day. I purchased the tan nubuck version, and like them so much I'm purchasing the black as well!

Took three different sizes to find the right fit. But I have hard to fit feet. Biggest plus is the arch support and the good styling. These shoes are meant for miles of walking in Europe and they are perfect!

I ordered these Rockport Main Route for work. I needed a shoe that is dressy and comfortable. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. The size was perfect (ordered wide) and I broke them in the first day. Very comfortable! I would get them again.

I have owned a pair for almost a year and a half.wear it almost every day.has to be the most comfortable shoe I can remember ever owning.I am also on My feet and walking most of the time I am wearing the shoe.The waterproof feature was extremely important for me as I am outside a lot.GREAT SHOE !!!

Bought these for my husband. He returned them because they were a dressier look than he wanted but they look to be really great shoes especially for treacherous sidewalks -- thick, grippy soles.

Over the past 15 years, I've walked our dogs at least twice a day in all types of weather. Just wore out the second pair and purchased a third. Never slipped even when bring pulled by a running 50 pound dog hitting the end of the lead and never came home with wet feet. I have boots for when there is 4 to 5 inches of snow (or more) but the rest of the year I wear the Northfields.

My old Rockports wore out and it's silly to be buying new soles that are almost the price of new shoes. So I went to DSW with the idea that I surely will find among all their brands something that fits great and feels great and just come home with them. Not to be. I tried on Dockers, Merrell, Clarks, Timberland, Dr Scholls, and brands I don't remember. So I went home annoyed and frustrated. Then I turned to my good buddies at Zappos, ordered a pair of Hush Puppies thinking that would do the trick. Nope. Then - I tried my old faves - Rockports and man are they great. The support is fantastic and the comfort surpasses all the other brands I tried. I walk my dog at least a mile a day and walk another mile for other chores. These are feeling great.
