I've been wearing this style of Rockport's for years and they've never done me wrong. They are comfortable and wide enough for my feet. Also, I need orthotics and they fit in this shoe very easily. They're good for work and also casual enough to wear out.

Have used the Rockport Margin shoes for years and these are just as comfortable. No break in time is needed. I like the sole and insole on the Northfield a little better. Appreciate the fact that these are available in narrow widths.

I've been buying these shoes since 2007 while posted on embassy duty. I hope they never get discontinued. They are perfect for running 3 miles, great for standing in the rain if posted outside, perfect for prolonged standing duties. They maintain their dress look and have plenty of room in the toe box if you have a wide foot.

I've been wearing Northfield's for many years and own them in several colors. They are so comfortable to walk in that it's simply amazing. The shoes are well made and last forever. I've replaced the soles a dozen times but the shoes still look like new. Waterproofing is an added bonus and comes in handy at times. No need for expensive orthodics, the built in supports provide all day comfort allowing one to walk for miles and miles.

I have worn Rockports before, and can still say how satisfied I am with these shoes. They are very comfortable, which is important to me as a teacher, as I am on my feet most of the school day, along with having to walk to the front of my building to get to the mail room, Cafeteria, or meet with my Supervisor. I chose to try a cheaper pair of shoes this past purchase, and definitely chose "poorly".
