Highly disappointing - I'm a line cook and I'm on my feet all day and for most of the week. After reading a lot of the reviews, I thought these would be a good shoe to wear to work but once I bought them and put them on they began to hurt my arches about 1 hour into wearing them for the first time. Not a comfortable shoe.

I am a teacher and I have plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. I have been searching for a comfortable shoe or sneaker for a long time. I have been very cautious because no matter what I try I still end up with pain by the end of the day. I gave into this shoe because of the reviews and I am not sorry. These shoes are by far the best that I have tried. I still get some pain in my right heel, but not at the level I'm used to. The support is decent enough, but I still put in the insert my doctor told me to buy.

I have worn these shoes for the last 6 years. They are by far the best non-slip shoe out there. Plenty of mid-foot cushion. The out sole is nice and thick. If you have trouble with your heel slipping the extra eyelet will take care of that. This is a great shoe.

The fit and comfort of the shoe are great. I have an extra wide foot and the wide is wide enough. Very comfortable to walk in all day. The appearance is very heavy looking. It actually looks as if I have boots on. Needless to say comfort over looks any day.

Great, non slip shoe - I have been in the restaurant business for many years, and I can honestly say, after being on my feet 8-10 hours a day in these shoes, my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I can't wait to get the shoes off, but there is no discomfort. Wet floors, grease on the floors, there is no slipping. Skechers has always made a great shoe, so I had all the confidence that these shoes would be comfortable. Skechers has not let me down. I did put my own inserts into the shoe for extra arch support, but I do that for all my shoes.

I very much like these shoes. I want to buy another pair, but they do not have my size 7½W. I am on my feet for about nine hours and I do not have any problems wearing these. Also the shape of these shoes is perfect for me and they look beautiful. These shoes cannot be better. They are perfect.

Great shoe I have been looking to replace a work shoe since my other company stopped making mine. wears well, fits true to form,comfortable as soon as you but your feet into them. recommend to anyone on their feet a lot.

I was able to get almost 2 years out of these shoes! I work in a plywood mill and am on my feet 8 hours a day 5 days a week. These shoes were comfortable from the very first day of wearing. I had bought a second pair not too long after buying the first as I was afraid they wouldn't have them next time I needed them. I just broke out that pair and am going to buy my third for a back up for next time. Love the shoes...comfortable and durable.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair. The first ones lasted over 1½ years after wearing them 10 hours a day six days a week. Not too shabby.

Always order these from Zappos. Ordering is easy and very efficient. Hard to find my size in stores and Zappos has had my size every time.

I buy these for my wife. She has very hard to please feet and these shoes are just what the doctor ordered, and as always quick delivery. You guys rock.

The Skechers Softie is the perfect work shoe for me. I work on concrete floors all day and it's nice to not have my feet hurt at the end of the day. And non-slip is a huge plus, I am crazy about them and Zappos. A relative told me she orders all of her shoes through Zappos and now I know why. They are the best. Fast, courteous, and they write funny stuff. You will not be disappointed.

True to size and so very comfortable. I am on my feet a lot and my feet don't get so tired with these shoes and love them!

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I am on my feet all day at work and at the end of the day my feet do not hurt. They are water and slip proof . I did add a insert because I like my shoes softer then these come.

Great work shoe - I work on my feet for 40 hours a week. And this is the tenth pair of Skechers Softies that I have bought. I put in different insoles for more comfort, but overall a great shoe if you’re in the service industry.

Not Satisfied - I have only had these shoes about a month and the top seam is coming unstitched, about a 2 inch long hole.

Perfect for standing or walking all day - I am a retail manger and most of my work days are 8, 10 or 12 hours standing around on concrete floors. These are by far the best sneaker I've ever owned.

Shoes are very comfortable. Did need to change insole for more arch support. If these came in slip-on style that would be great. Slip resistance for both oil and water is great.

A WOW FOR WORK SHOES!!! This is the best all around work shoe I have found so far. Finding black work shoes for ladies that are not hot or heavy is a trial. This shoe fits all requirements, light weight, not too hot, good for walking or driving.

Foot Power - A black sketcher work shoe is what I need for standing on concrete 10 hours/4 days a week. I had some feet problems with other shoes, but thanks to the sketchers my feet are cushioned, flexible, and all around nice looking. I finally am on to a shoe that benefits me, and probably will also be my next working shoe.

These shoes feel great on my wide feet. I use orthotics, so I cannot comment on the given arch support. But it's a very comfortable work shoe and non-slip. I work long days in the kitchen and they hang tough with me!!

Comfortable work shoes - I stand on my feet at work for 8 plus hours a day. I have over the years developed some feet problems. These are the only shoes that I can have on all day and still function my duties. I am on my 6th pair as I love them that well. No need to try any others.

Great for all day comfort - I switched from Redwing workboots that were killing my feet. It took about two shifts before I could give an unqualified "I LOVE these shoes!" No more sore or burning feet. I give them a standing (8 to 10 hours a day) ovation! I wish they came in 1/2 sizes, but made due by going up a size.
