Skechers work - I bought these a year ago. I work in restaurant business. They are so comfortable, for all day wear. My feet don’t hurt like most of my co-workers. Also, I run around in the kitchen where there is grease and never have fallen. I love these shoes. Skechers Work Softie - The original pair have been wonderful! I'm on my feet for at least 8 hours or longer and on cement. No breaking in; very comfortable AFTER I put "pillow-cushion" insoles in them. The bottom of my feet did not ache. I'm sorry these are no longer being continued. :(

Great Work Shoe - This shoe was comfortable from day 1. It pivots you forward which is a great plus being on your feet all day.

Good working shoe - When shoe first arrived, looked and felt great, I am on my feet at least 6 hours a day making pizzas shoe was stiff first day and my feet were aching, but after several times of wearing them I am surprised on how comfortable and fashionable they are.

Rugged but Light! I work at a grocery store on weekends and I stand/walking on cement plus the paved parking lot anywhere from 4 - 9 hours at a stretch. Not once has these work shoes given me any grief. I do find the very bottom of my feet does feel a tad tired because they are hard but with a cushioned insole, it made the shoe a bit more comfortable thus the bottoms of my feet weren't quite so tired.

I needed a black walking shoe with a heel for traveling, that I felt safe wearing. Since I have osteoporosis and had a recent fall/fracture, I was particularly concerned about safety. I was immediately impressed with the comfort - no rubbing or "breaking in." I tried them out in the supermarket and out after a rain, and did not notice any slippage or skidding. Although this isn't a sleek and trendy shoe, I am satisfied with the appearance -I would rather sacrifice some looks for security in my case! I think these would be a fine choice for a job requiring stability and comfort.

Comfortable and fashionable - I needed oil resistant/ slip resistant shoes for a food service job. Prior to buying these shoes, I wasted money on two pairs of shoes that were uncomfortable. I didn't need to break these in; they were so comfortable from the start. My feet didn't hurt at the end of a ten hour shift. When the floors were wet or oily, I never slipped. Just remember that you have to clean the soles on a regular basis because they get clogged with debris. Otherwise, they lose their effectiveness on wet, slippery surfaces. I used a brush with plastic bristles and liquid dish soap.

Skechers Work Softie's are amazing! I have always bought Skechers for work where I stand for usually 9 to 10 hours a day. When I saw these I loved the look and when they arrived I was even more pleased with the fit and comfort. These shoes are soft and cushy when you walk, they don't rub like other shoes do and they don't ever hurt my feet. I am going to buy two pairs.

Skechers Work Shoes - I love them. I am a bartender and work long hours on my feet and they are wonderful. Very comfortable.

Work Shoes - I am very pleased with the shoes I have purchased. They were a little uncomfortable until I got them broke in, but now that they are I am very happy.

WOW! What a difference these shoes have made. I am on my feet for 10hours a day waitressing and my feet barely ache anymore. They are great in the kitchen too, they don't slip!

True to size. I wear them to work for 40 hours a week, always on my feet and they feel good.

Comfort plus but not very slip resistant - I have purchased a number of pair of these shoes that I wear for work. The comfort is top notch; however, they are not very slip resistant. I almost fell on a wet surface once while wearing these. If you are looking for comfort out of the box, then I highly recommend these. If you are wearing them in a work environment that has slip hazards, then I would recommend trying a different brand.

I think that the shoes are very comfortable. I really like the shoes, but they need to be a little more slip resistant.

Very comfy - These shoes are very comfortable, I work on my feet all day and they don't hurt at all! The only down side is they don't look like tennis shoes, but more like hiking boots. If you're looking for comfort, get them!

Lasted only 9 months - 1st day nylon ribbon eyelet broke. Excellent skid resistant even in the dish area. Lost its shape within a month, looked like a worn out sneaker. Style not professional looking. Sole medium depth compressed down in 9 months causing severe leg pain. No shock absorption left. When my legs start to ache and feel like I have needles stabbing in them, that is when I know the shoes are worn out and it is time to buy a new pair. I work 5 days a week as a food server. I have had Wal-Mart Skid resistant Shoes, very poor quality, took them back after a week of use. I have owned Shoes for Crews as recommend by Red Lobster Management, they only lasted 8 months with my schedule and not as resistant to slips as Skechers.

Nice shoe - These are my first Skechers, glad they now have wide sizes. The sole is very thick and nice, no arch supports needed. After a day on my feet I'm sorry to say my heels hurt a bit, but they were fine unless I'm walking all day long.

Skecher Work Shoe - The shoe fits true to size and does have a comfortable fit, however I am on my feet sometimes for a long period of time and it doesn't offer a lot of support. Insole is semi hard. The shoe has an anti slip sole which is good in a kitchen but don't wear it on an icy surface.

Buy these a size bigger..... I loved these shoes when I tried them on, but they took about a week to break in, and I would suggest buying half a size bigger and maybe putting some insoles in them cause they are good shoes, but a little un-cushioned. They look very nice, though.

Skechers are awesome - I love Skechers and when I found out they had work shoes I had to get some. My feet don't hurt near as much as they did before! I would recommend these to anyone who works in the fast food business!

Skecher's Softie - I never owned a pair of Skecher's before so I was a little worried about the comfort, but was very surprised at how well they felt right out of the box. I tried them on after a 10 hour shift and was very pleased!!

Excellent support, no slipping. No padding. I worked on a cement floor all day and my feet were killing me! I switched to nursing shoes.

Looks like an athletic shoe. I was hoping for something that looked a bit more like a hiking shoe, or work boot, but in person these look too much like a gym shoe to me. They are also not that wide. I got them in "extra wide" but they felt like a regular wide to me. I probably would have kept them though, if I'd have liked the look more.

Not really slip resistant or comfortable! I had to go back and look at the SN on these shoes to be sure I was writing a review on the right ones! Wish I could rave about them like most everyone else is, but I can't! These shoes are very stiff, and not slip resistant. My feet feel sore when I get home from standing all day. You clump around in them when you walk. It feels like the soles don't bend at all. I don't get blisters, and my feet aren't exactly painful, but I wouldn't say they are comfortable work shoes. I wish I had spent the money elsewhere! I'm disappointed that a pair of Skechers wouldn't be comfortable like I have experienced in the past. Guess they just aren't for work!
