So far, so good. Despite their visible bulk, these shoes are very light on the feet. I was happy to be able to get a wide. I have a triangular foot with wide toes and a narrow heel. I'm able to adjust the laces enough that the heel doesn't slip much.

I love these shoes, and the color is just beautiful. You could not ask for a better color combination then grey with purple, I get so many compliments whenever I wear these and they are just so comfortable too. I love the New Balance brand and they make wide which is very hard to find in shoes that look and feel great.

I love these tennis shoes. They have a lot of toe room and great support.

Comfortable, and very nice looking for this type of shoe. I like the fact that it comes in a neutral, not garish, color.

Ordered several - Kept this! Due to numerous joint and foot surgeries, along with what has changed from a 12AAAAA to a size 13B foot, I have great difficulty finding appropriate shoes to accomodate my orthotics and all the other problems. I ordered numerous pairs hoping at least one would work. Cost didn't matter. I wanted comfort and a decent fit. This and the 811, though no where near the most expensive in my order, were the ones! I was a little leary of putting nearly 700 dollars on my credit card, but the return was so simple and the credit card charges were removed immediately. It is rare to find such competent, timely and hassle-free service.

This walking shoe is heavy, the laces are too long and it's very difficult to get your foot into it. You have to unlace it quite a bit to slide your foot in. The leather is stiff and uncomfortable. I've owned several pairs of New Balance shoes that I wore out, but this one I cannot recommend. I had to give up on wearing them for my daily walks and buy another brand.

I was looking for good shoes for the four day marches in Nijmegen in July. At first I was not sure how I felt about these shoes but I realized comparing them to the other shoes I tried that the front had plenty of room for my toes, and that they felt quite comfortable. I really like the neutral colors, the fact that they are not white, and that the sole is black is a bonus for the walk They are very attractive looking for good walking shoes. They will truly get tested this summer during the walk.

I recently was diagnosed with a heel spur and now have orthotics. I work retail and this sneaker fits my orthotics perfectly and is a great fit! This is the second pair of WW646 that I own. Looks like I have found the shoe that fits me.

Very comfortable with lots of toe room. Good arch support. I really like the gray color with purple accents.

A great, sturdy shoe, but I did not like the blue stripes and big "N" logo on the side. In my opinion, the blue decorations downgrade the look from that of a nice urban hiker, to that of a mere gym shoe.

Very comfortable fit, true to size. Bought a half size larger than my usual size due to availability (like the color combination) so I lace it tightly and it's not a problem - just makes my feet look bigger. I ordered Wide width, and these are perfect so my toes can flex as I walk, as if I'm bare-footed. When I first wore them (with medium weight sports anklet socks), my feet got really hot, but it must have just been that day because I haven't noticed it after that (and day temps are now higher). I walk three miles a day on pavement and grass for exercise, with no blisters or pain associated with poor fit or support. No breaking-in period necessary.

I love New Balance walking shoes because they offer ultimate support and comfort. I usually wear an 8.5M but NB always fit a half size larger on me, so the 8M fits perfect. These are great for the long walks I take with my dog. Because I wear them daily, they last up to 6-9 months. Not a bad deal for this price. I ordered the grey and love how neutral they are. The blue is very minimal but offers a nice dash of color.

These are great! A little higher around the ankle and the toe box felt wider than the NB955 which for me is a good thing. I pronate badly and these give me good arch and foot support. I do wear them with a custom orthonic but if the shoe is not good the orthonic does not work. I wear a 11 med, the 12 wide with orthonic fit great.

I read all the reviews before buying this style of NB. I knew before buying them that there wasn't too much arch support. I love them! They feel great on and for the first time EVER I didn't have to break a pair of sneakers in. I wear them almost everyday and walk around the city a LOT, so comfort is very important to me. Great buy!!

Love these shoes! They are very comfortable, and warm. I wear them with my over-the-counter orthotics, which fit perfectly. I have high arches. I am outside walking every day, and in the cooler rainy weather of fall here in the Northeast, they have been fantastic.

I freakin' love these shoes! They are super comfy, and are mellow looking enough to were with some outfits I would never wear sneakers with.

Very nice sneaker. Highly recommend. They're well made, comfortable, and offer good arch support. I returned them for the WW 846 only because these were a little too rugged for my everyday use.

Very happy with the comfort. They ran true to size and a nice change from the leather white or black New Balance that seem to be the only selections retailers have in wide width.
