I love these sandals! I have worn them camping, caving, and kayaking as well as daily chores like gardening and lawn mowing. They are comfortable and protective for all activities. Because they are closed toe I can wear them at work too. The fit is snug enough to give you confidence in slippery situations. I would buy again!

Simply love these shoes; however, I did order a 9 and a 9.5 because reviews said they ran small. I did not feel they ran small, fit just right! In fact the 9.5 was two big and wide in the toe area. These will be great for water aerobics this summer in Cali! They fit snug, not comfortable, but am sure they will stretch a bit from wear and water use.

Great shoes, very versatile. I bought these shoes when searching for a durable shoe with great foot protection, arch support, and that allowed my feet to breathe during very hot weather. What I like most about these shoes is that I can run in them without my feet hurting afterwards. They feel like a very well ventilated pair of running shoes and are very stylish. I love wearing these shoes on very hot days to keep up with my very active 3 1/2 year old, and to let my feet breathe without having to change into socks and sneakers for extra foot protection.

This is my third pair of Newport's. It is hot in New Orleans in the summer, and I like having a walking sandal where I don't need to wear socks. I was hoping to replace my last pair of Newport's with the Whisper. The Whisper is cut longer than the Newport. I did not find that the Whisper had as good arch support. These may not be the most attractive shoes, but they were work for exercise walking and beach hiking.

Comfortable "sandal" that can handle lots of walking and still keep your feet comfortable. Nice arch support and holds up year after year.

I am very happy with this shoe and with Zappos.com service. I order medium width shoes 1/2 size smaller because I have narrow feet. The fit is comfortable with good support.

Love this shoe. I walk my dog at least one mile a day and needed a summer shoe that could be worn around the city as well as hiking. Love the support, super comfortable, exactly what I needed. The only thing is that it felt a full size smaller than marked so luckily I assumed that would be the case and ordered appropriately.

These are sometimes hard to pull on, but once on are very comfortable. I usually wear a 9 and had to go up to a 9.5.

The color is so nice, and they are the exact size. The package come really fast. I love them! I do recommend them to everyone. I love Zappos you are awesome!

I love this shoe. I have three pairs now (going for all the colors, one by one). I can wear it in the water or the mud; I can wear it on city streets; I can take a trail in it or a sidewalk. It fits my foot perfectly, provides enough support for all-day wear, looks good enough to wear with any casual clothes, anywhere.

I usually wear a 9.5 M from Keen without a problem, and I have several pair of Keen Venice and they fit perfectly. However, since I have a high arch and wide feet, Newport is too tight for me.

Hot and I don't mean good looking (which they are). My feet never sweat, but in these shoes they are overheated and soaked within minutes of putting them on. This means washing them more often than wearing them. But it seems others don't have this problem. Try them on at store first and see if your feet start to boil - if not, then they are very comfortable and otherwise the perfect shoe.

Very comfortable! Well made; I've had them for over a month and have worn them 10+ times and they still look brand new! Run a bit small, so order a half size bigger!

I ordered the Keen Newport H2 in a size 8 versus my regular size 7.5 since some reviews mentioned it running small. But, the size 8 was too large so I called and the size 7.5's were at my house the next day. Both of the representatives I spoke with were super super nice and so very helpful. I love the shoes and loved the service I was shown. Zappos is the way to go, thank you for making this shopping experience helpful and expediting this service!

Love these shoes - great comfort and durability. I had to stand on concrete for 12 hours doing a garden sale - and these shoes give support, comfort, and didn't mind getting wet.

I ordered three pairs of Keens to try them out. These shoes were the biggest disappointment of the bunch! All three pair of Keens were the same size; but these felt short and definitely run more narrow than the other two. In my opinion, these shoes are clearly not worth the price. They are a return, for sure.

I own one of these Keen shoes they are very comfortable and (I do have troubled feet). The problem is I would have to struggle to get in the shoes because of the elastic laces. I wish they would bring back the backless style.

I love these shoes and own them in more than one color. One pair seemed to run a little small so I ordered it in a larger size. I bought each of my daughters a pair and they felt that the shoe ran true to size. I wear them daily and feel the support is equal to my Merrill slides.

The truly sad thing about this shoe is that it doesn't wear out! That makes it hard to justify buying another pair! I love my Keens and actually do have three different styles of the brand...the Newport H2 is the all around favorite for summer.

So comfortable! Looks a little clunky but so cute and you can where them everywhere and they wash clean as new!

I really love these Keens. They are quite heavy duty - perfect if you plan to actually hike in them versus just wearing them at the beach or to walk around town. I think there are better, lighter weight Keens if you don't really need to hike (the Whisper is great), but for maximum balance, stability, and anti-slip while hiking on rougher terrain, these are perfect. My one gripe is that I'm currently waiting for a different size. I listened to several reviewers (and the Zappos fit guide) which said to order a half size up. I definitely do not need a half size up. I am a 7.5 and the 8's were exactly a half size too big. I do have narrow feet, so I'm wondering if the people who need to size up have wider feet and find the toe box too snug in their actual size. With my narrow feet, these shoes are a little too wide (something I am used to!), but the pull strap tightens them and my foot doesn't slip at all (even in the ones that were a half size too big). I ordered them in the slate black/canton, which is not black at all. It is definitely more of a chocolate brown - combined with the blue lining/stitching, they are really attractive. These will be perfect for my upcoming trip to Hawaii (once I get the right size!).

Best sandals ever! I had a pair of Keen sandals several years ago used primarily for Scuba trips but then worn all the time. They got lost in a move and I finally decided to replace them. Money well spent as they are sandals that you can wear all summer long in place of tennis shoes (i.e. amusement parks, zoo, park with children.) I first ordered the Whisper but returned due to not liking the smaller, thinner straps. Great Zappos service sent these overnight since I used the store credit from the return. I have now bought everyone in the family (husband and 3 children a pair.)The only ones I regret buying is the child's Sunport. All the others are Newport variations and I love them. Just be sure to order half a size larger than normal.

I got these and the Venice H2 to compare them for wet landings followed by trail walking. They are both very comfortable, fit my feet well, and are exactly what I needed. I chose the Venice over these, though, because I thought they were better looking and made my feet look shorter than these. Otherwise, it's a tossup. The toe box is squarish so if you have a long big toe you will need more room, but if not, your regular size should be OK.

A versatile water/dry land shoe. Dries quickly, toe guard is great, and they are comfortable. The toe box is really wide, and stones get easily in the openings on the side, which can be a drawback, but otherwise they're great shoes.

I have owned Keens before, but never this style. The 'whisper' I tried was too narrow. This felt very snug and my feet ached after a full day of wearing, not to mention they made my feet perspire! I've bought Teva's and Reefs as well this month, and had no problems with them. Disappointed in these.
