This is the most comfortable pair of shoes/sandals that I have ever purchased! I will be checking out more Keen shoes! Also, Zappos has exceptional service!

Extremely comfortable! I normally wear a size 8 but ordered a 9 and they're perfect. Zappos customer service is outstanding!

These shoes are very comfortable. The first day I wore them it was very hot outside and my toe rubbed a bit on the footbed. But all in all they are comfortable and seem durable. I ordered a half size larger than normal and they fit well. I will be wearing these on hikes, in our boat, and probably for some everyday outings.

For someone with average width feet these would be awesome walking sandals however I have wide feet so they did not work. Surprisingly though these shoes were a little tight but not as much as I thought they might be. Unfortunately they were still too snug for comfort.

Awesome shoe! Works great both on land and in water. Took them into the waterfall areas of Washington state and I was comfortable the whole time. Just wash off and good as new.

I live in the mountains near a creek so I wanted a shoe to hike in that can take water. This shoe is a bit warm, my feet sweat in them on a warm day, but they are supportive and comfy to walk in. The 8.5 that I bought is snug. Back strap as snug as would want it to be, width could have been just a bit wider, baby toe bone gets red.

I ordered these Keens for a trip to Europe where I will be doing alot of walking. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I usually wear a size 10 but need a 10 1/2 in Keens.

I purchased this shoe for my trip to Burning Man which takes place in the Black Rock Desert NV. The terrain is cracked dry mud and very dusty, because of this just not any shoe will do for this week long event. I am happy to say that the Keen Newport 12 got five stars in all categories and will be going back with me next year. It is the perfect shoe! When home, I live in flip flops so I don't care for the closed feeling of sneakers. The Keen Newport offers the safety of a closed shoe, but the comfort of an open shoe. Last year I purchased the Keen Whisper. I did not like it for my trip nearly as well as the Newport. The Whisper does not have a back strap so it kept falling off. When you order your Keen Newport order it a half size larger! I usually wear a 7, but ordered a 7.5. It was perfect! I LOVE this shoe!

I love love love these shoes! I've had 4 pairs in different colors. They are the most comfortable shoes for standing and walking. I tend to have problems with my pinkie toes rubbing but that never happens with these. They also wash beautifully- just throw them in the washing machine with a load of towels and they come out like new.

Ordered these Newports after doing a lot of reading about them. I have plantar fasciitis so my feet are always hurting. We bought them for our upcoming honeymoon to Hawaii. But I've been wearing them around town to break them in and see how I'll do...no break in needed! I'm really impressed they are comfortable right from the start, and my feet feel just fine in them! A+ I think they're a little awkward and wish they were cuter. But they feel great!

Had had 4 different Keen sandals and each had a very different footbed. Only the Newport H2 had the most comfortable bed and decent arch. The footbeds look very similar but the Venice was very hard/uncomfortable. The other issue, with all pairs, is that the heel wears very quickly and faster than other parts of the sole. For the price, I'd really like to see Keen modify the heel so it doesn't wear down to the sublayer.

Walked my two dogs all around the neighborhood right out of the box. Better support than "Whisper" but I like them both. The Newport H2 is my favorite for longer walks (parks, beach, day at the mall & traveling). The arch support and the wide toe room is perfect for me. I have 2 pair of the Newport H2 and have worn them all summer. I love the fact that I can wear them from early am into the evening and not have any foot problems. I have bunions and this type of shoe has the toe room and arch support I need. It is very comfortable.

These sandals are very comfortable; however, they are heavy and clunky. After a full work day I am ready to take them off, but they are also one of the only thing I can wear that does not hurt my feet.

I bought these shoes at the recommendation of my son-in-law who had just bought a pair and thought they were extremely comfortable. Since our family was planning to vacation in the mountains and we might be wading in some creeks, I bought this pair for myself. They are indeed extremely comfortable. My daughter who lives in Asheville and goes camping all of the time borrowed them one day and loved them so much that she intends to buy a pair for herself.

These really aren't good sandals. They are hot, itchy, and designed in such a way that anyone with a shorter pinky toe will have that toe sticking out of the shoe uncomfortably. I've done everything to make these shoes comfortable and they are just a bad design. They even look bad on my feet. Really, not the kind of product I expect from Keen.

I ordered these (Newport H2), Keen Owyhee, Teva Omnium W and Ahnu Tilden IV. I don't usually have a problem with shoes fitting me but neither pair of Keens fit me right. The side straps on both pairs dug uncomfortably into the inner sides of my feet. They are both being returned. I'm keeping the Ahnus.

This sandal is amazingly supportive and comfortable. I have knee surgery and problems and a high arch. I use Lynco insoles in all shoes. This Keen Newport H2 sandal does not make my knees ache and I don't use an arch support. It is so comfy, supportive, yet non-restricting. Most useful hiking on weekends when I can wear them right into the mountain lake to swim and drip dry. Easy on, easy off. Big difference from unlacing the hiking boots, removing socks, and putting them on and off throughout the hike (for swimming). Feet are aerated and freer. Great traction on rocks and wet surfaces too. Wide foundation base, no rocking, no threat to my ankles. I'm early sixties and I am so surprised that these are working. Ordering a pair of Turia sandals in black to use at work in the winter, and hoping they are fitting exactly like the Newports.

Pretty happy with the Keen Newport. I have three different kinds of Keen sandals (5 pairs total). The Newport is my least favorite because, for some reason, after wearing for about an hour my feet swell and bulge out the side slots. It's not uncomfortable, but looks very odd. I have a very wide foot and have had two knee surgeries. These sandals are quite comfortable.

These shoes are comfortable (I did size up 1/2 size) but I was looking forward to using them for hiking without socks. I wore them just casually and they were fine but the first time I used them for a hike, I got blister on bottom of foot from the sockbed...it is a sueded material, but kind of rough on bare feet. Maybe need to work up to long walks without socks. Also, was able to run a bit with them outside, but not on treadmill...hurt in shin. I would recommend as an addition to your outdoor wardrobe, but not if it's the only pair for hiking.

This shoe was a big disappointment. It rubbed my bunion. It is stiff. It looks big on the foot. Yuck. A definite No.

I found this style to be the most comfortable and supportive of all the Keen sandals (I tried four versions). It is the warmest and heaviest of them all however. The width of this version is also tighter than the others.

These are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. They wash up like new in the wash machine. They last forever. I'm going on my third year of wearing and they still look and feel great! I can't get over how comfortable these sandals are! They are definitely worth the price tag.

Since it is impossible to tell if a shoe is comfortable from a picture, I bought the following five pairs of Keens: Whisper, Newport, Venice, Owyhee, and Turia. Since I have high arches, I was looking for a comfortable all-day waterproof shoe with excellent arch support for hiking in Costa Rica. The Newport H2 won this contest hands-down, as they clearly stood out as the most comfortable shoes with the best support. Although I have not yet tried them hiking, they've been great all-day walking shoes on a recent trip to New York City and for running errands, trips to the mall, etc. The five models of Keen shoes were all somewhat different, so here is a break-down of my research: If you want great arch support: Get the Newport. If you have narrow feet: Get the Whisper. If your feet get hot easily and you want the most aeration/fewest straps: Get the Venice. If you hate the bulky toe on Keens and want something that looks more like a sneaker: Get the Turia. Looked most like a water shoe: the Owyhee. Of these, all had mild-medium arch support except for the Newports, which had excellent arch support. However, the arch support also makes this a heavier shoe - my boyfriend tried on a pair of Newports and did not like them because he felt that they were too heavy. Basically, if you like sturdy hiking boots and Bogs, you will like the Newports. If you're more of a Converse and Uggs-type person, you may prefer one of the lighter, flatter models that Keen makes. Overall, I found all five models to be well-made and good quality. Definitely recommend this brand for all of your aquatic adventure needs.

I wanted to replace a pair of Venice that I really have loved but I didn't like the colors so I tried out the Newport. I really like the style and support but for some reason, the sandals have a hole right where my baby toe is and it does not hold it snugly in place. The Venice had great baby toe support but not this style. Sounds a bit silly but with time it seems like a real potential blister spot.
