Just not the same. It feels like the toe box is narrower, and the shoe is a whole size smaller. Very sad.

I Love this Keen sandal! Super comfortable and easy to clean. Just wish Keen would make the toe straps wider so my pinky toe would be a little more comfortable and covered.

Ridiculously short and small across the forefoot! The straps are significantly shorter than other Newport sandals. There is no excuse for Keen being unable to standardize their manufacturing across countries. Poor quality control.

Loved my last pair, and wore them constantly over the past four years. They go from wet to dry with no problem, offer walking support on long treks, and have fabulous traction. They are finally showing some signs of wear, so I'm replacing them. I would like to see more colors without the patterns woven in. I dislike the geo patterns and ombre look. That will be passe very soon, so I'd rather stick with classic. VERY IMPORTANT to know: These shoes are being made a full size smaller than previously. My size 9's had room to spare in the toes before. Now the 9.5's in the same style are just big enough, no wiggle room. This I do not understand. I would appreciate Keen keeping sizing consistent. Thank you Zappos for the return policy that makes trying on all these sizes possible!

I thought these were adorable in the picture, but when I tried them on they made my feet look like duck feet! The front of the shoe is very wide. They fit well but my big toenail tended to rub against the toe cover a bit and I thought that after a long hike that might be a problem. So returning them.

This shoe fits to size. It is very wide from the ball of the foot through the toe area but not uncomfortably wide. The rubber toe covering is very pronounced. For me, it is not the shoe to wear if you want to be cute. But if you want to be semi-cute and wear a sturdy hiking, water shoe that will protect your toes this is the shoe for you! Arch support is as low to low-med but enough to know it exists. Unfortunately, my budget is limited and I need a hiker/wader that is slightly cuter to wear when not in the woods. If I had the budget, I'd keep this one. I'll be back to get you Newport H2!

I have two odd feet. one foot is actually a whole half size larger(due to injuries)...what foot do I accommodate? wear the size that is comfortable on the bad foot, and too big on the good foot, or wear the size that is comfortable on the good foot, but snug on the bad foot?

Very weird sizing, I normally wear a 10, sometimes 10.5, the 10.5 felt like I was trying to squeeze into a 9. Grateful for Zappos free return shipping!

These are one of the most comfortable shoes ever. I could wear them all day without issues. The only problem I found was that they were very hot for my feet. My feet tend to perspire a lot, and because of that I could not wear them, especially on hot days.

These are adorable (in the black multi). However, they made my feet REALLY hot! Memory foam doesn’t breathe at all. I think Keen should come up with a different footbed material. I can also feel the bumpy sole through the shoe, which doesn’t seem to bother most people, but bothered me. I would like a smoothe-feeling footbed. I have a little neuropathy from chemo, so perhaps my feet are more sensitive than most. Generally love Keen. But in my opinion, when they have a lug-type sole, they need to provide a thicker footbed so the lugs aren’t felt through the shoe.

I love these Keens. As a many-pair Keen owner, these Newports in a cute turquoise color are da bomb. Super comfy, easy to wear right out of the box. The colors are attractive too.

My wife just bought the Keen Newport for the first time and really likes them. Her feet are wide and they create all the space she needs, especially in the toe area. She uses them for hiking and water sports. She uses them on a Stand Up Paddle Board and they work great with good traction and very comfortable. A half size smaller may have fit a bit better but the current size works very well. It is her favorite shoe now.

Love the colors and lively print-- and I love my other Keens but these are made differently and unfortunately, too tight on my feet. If only these fit in a way that is secure but also comfortable!

Love my "Save Asia" design ! The arch support surrounds my arch without the rigidity of Chacos , not as squishy as Volatile. Teva Tirra and Teva Hurricane were the only other shoes offered the arch support I needed ... maybe I don't have that high of arches which could explain why Chacos didn't work for me and the moderate arch support of Teva's did work . But the Sarasota Keen offered zero support . The only con of these Newport are that my little toe is irritated by the strap which a little breaking in and mole skin can easily remedy ! Go for these water , full day on your feet funky sandals !

Runs small!

Every summer our visit to family in Europe involves frequent 2-3 mile walks. Shoes that are fine for everyday wear at home inevitably lead to blisters and other discomfort. So glad I finally found these! Comfortable from the first wear, great support, love them!

I bought these to replace an old pair of Keen Newport H2s. Sadly, I had to buy a half size larger to make them fit, and the arch support is next to nothing compared to my old ones. Keen's gone cheap - what a shame!

I needed a waterproof shoe to walk the beach in and this is perfect. The brand was recommended by a friend who has a pair. They are nice and wide and very sturdy but cute.I ordered a 6.5 and 7 and the 6.5 fit perfectly.

These fit perfectly and comfortably from the first time I put them on. I need a sandal to allow me to walk on uneven surfaces and dirt roads. They also keep me from tripping which can happen with flip flops. My feet swell in hot, humid weather and I like that I can adjust each sandal to accommodate swelling which is not the same in each foot.

I took these shoes on a 2 week trip and walked all day in them. I found them to be very comfortable.

I have diabetic Neuropathy and was hoping these would work for my summer sandles. I absolutely love the look of them and they seemed comfy enough as far as arch support, but the straps rubbing on the tops and sides of my sensitive feet was painful. I loved how they looked.
