Bought this for my trip to the Galapagos Island wet landings and light hiking. Worked great in the Zodiac, in the water and on land. Order 1/2 size bigger. Only comes in medium width, but did fine for my wide foot.

I have two pair of these. I alternate wearing them, because I wear them every day except for winter and church on Sundays!
They are great on the boat. The sipped sole grips like a boat shoe, and the toe cap protects both on shore and aboard.

I bought my first pair of Keen sandals for a trip to Galapogos in 2002. They were so comfortable that I wore them daily, and alas wore them out. When I looked for them in stores, I could no longer find them, but did find them on Zappos.com. I ordered them there, they came quickly, and now I can happily proceed to were the next pair out.

These are great! Ordered these for my husband to replace his "beach shoes" which wore out. He loved them right out of the box (he needs shoes with good support and so is very picky about his shoes). Giving it 4 stars for style because front of the shoe looks a little wide on him.

These shoes are awesome. I purchased a pair for my wife and four kids also. We used them on the beach in Hawaii and they were great.
They seem to be sized a little large. I usually wear a size 11 and could of got away with a size 10½.

I love Keens and really love these but have to purchase mens because womens are a bit cramped. I wear 11½. Next time I order this style I will order narrow. I wore these for 10 day walking everywhere in Puerto Rico, they were the most comfortable!

I was looking for a shoe that I could use over the summer instead of a flip flop. It is a great looking shoe and I actually wear them with jeans. I have also worn them in the water and they held up well. My only complaint is that they are a bit uncomfortable around my little toe and not that soft on my feet. I am relatively picky about shoes, although I have suffered from Plantar so it could just be me, I do have high arches if that matters. I wouldn not buy them again but I love the style so I would give the Inov8s a try. On a side note, I love Zappos. They have become my favorite site and when possible, I buy from them. Their customer service is really world class.

The ultimate sport sandal. I'm in love with the look and feel. Great arch and nubby, stimulating footbed make my feet very happy. My normal size (10) was too small, but the half-size up was perfect.

I\'ve never owned a pair of Keen sandals before, but a friend recommended them. I got them for a two-week trip to Western Africa. They were comfortable the first time I put them on, and they still are after almost non-stop wear for two weeks. And they cleaned up nicely, too, after some trail hiking and mud. I wear a 10.5 dress shoe and the 11 size sandal was perfect. My foot is extra wide, but these sandals were extremely comfortable.

Great shoe! This is my second pair of Keen's. My first pair were 3 years old and worn out. All stitching is now double! These should last even longer! They were a little snug at first, but stretched to size within the first few wearings.

I bought these for my husband to go hiking in Utah especially the river hike in the Narrows. He never wore sandals before but has really growned to like these. In the river they were just what he needed and he also used these to hike on some of the easier trails only because not much ankle support for the steeper trails. I think he is sold on these because he is wearing them also after we got home just because of the comfort, Definetly was a hit. The size was pretty much true to fit.

I got these mostly for some light trails/hiking and cycling. After a couple of weeks, I'm pretty happy with the purchase. Sandals have a nice arch support (even better than my pair of sneakers) which is both comfortable for walking, and also lends itself to a natural position on bike pedals which just feels right to me. On trails, I've been pretty happy with traction including rocky beach paths, and protection, though for full disclaimer, I'm not a hardcore hiker. Last, sizing is similar to most sneakers: 0.5" over dress shoes would probably make the best fit. Only negative: these are pretty darn ugly, so if aesthetics matters to you, you might want to reconsider. However, on the plus side, they can be worn with socks without looking any worse than they already are.

These Keens were awesome and well worth the purchase price. We were able to walk the muddy trails (shoes completely covered in mud), then go swim in the pools and walk under the water falls (the shoes cleaned up so much easier than tennis shoes would have). The shoes are really comfortable, are great in and out of the water, really durable, and dry very quickly. I would recommend these to anybody who wants a quality shoe/water shoe for hiking where there may be water to walk through. This shoe also had great arch support since the foot bed is designed to provide more support than many of the other brands and styles.

Ending up with just the right pair of these sandals was a challenge. My first pair of navy I returned for size. I had read the reviews that they came true to size but I am afraid they run a little wide and I needed a smaller size. The second pair were olive/lichen and fit great. However, the odor of the materials and/or the glues are such that you cannot keep the sandals in the house or drive a car with passengers. Throughout this process L. L. Bean has been very helpful. The retail store took them back and immediately "bagged" them so that they didn't have to smell them in their working environment. Now I have another pair of the Navy in the correct size. There is still some odor of rubber materials, but nothing as before. My advice is to pay attention to this before you purchase them.

I really wanted to like this sandal. So badly, in fact, I ordered several pairs before giving up. Ultimately, the quality control is what did it. One pair had defects in the sole that jabbed my foot; several others had inconsistent attachment points where the straps attached to the sole (leading to an un-uniform fit), and they all fit poorly on the inside of my foot, above the arch. I have feet barely wider than average. If you have wide feet, forget these sandals.

They're as comfortable as they can be. They're perfect for every outdoor activity that doesn't involve snow. Both of mine got a nasty stink to them. A good washing will take care of it -- for a while. Be very careful when you do wash them; believe the label and do it in cold water. My wife washed mine in warm water and the soles separated. Also, the strap on the heel is a flimsy joke that will break if you use it. Still, ya know what? I'm about to buy my third pair. They're that good.
