My husband loves Keens and has worn them exclusively, except when he had to wear combat boots, since since 2003. HIs first pair lasted nearly 8 years. His second about 5 1/2. This last pair started falling apart after 2 months, and now at 9 months he can no longer wear them as the seams are coming apart. I'm pretty shocked at how quickly they deteriorated. He's now trying to decide whether he jumps to Tevas or Chacos. Its a shame really because he was such a loyal customer, but their lack of customer service and poor quality has totally put him off. Zappos is still pretty great though!!!

I can't tell you about the true size, width, or arch support because I could not get my foot into it. The ankle strap needs to open. There was not enough stretch to get my foot in. Length & width appeared more than large enough if I could just get my foot in...

I have ordered these Keen Newport H2 many times in the past years. These were too narrow and the back strap seem short not to be able to get over heel. Returning. They need a wide width in these sandals.

The sole may be wide if you're buying that, but the upper isn't and you can't get you feet in. Just looking at the sandal and it's apparent that if you have wide feet, you're not going to get these on your feet.

Pretty disappointed in Keen. Used to be a great brand. These were basically falling apart right out of the box. The straps were visibly separated from the footbed and the glue and bonding were lazy at best. Pass on these.

The sandals felt comfortable but are quite heavy. They are advertised to be good in and out of water so I bought these as sandals to wear while sailing getting in and out of the water quite a bit during the summer. They held up for one year and then started falling apart the next. Basically the glue comes undone on the web being that attaches it to the sole also you can see from the photograph that the pull on tab at the heel had broken as well.
I felt for the price they really did not hold up as I would expect since I only use these a couple of months in one summer.
Basically I'm giving one star because the lack of durability.

Keen has ruined the Newport H2. They have removed the adjustable heel strap. Now there is a fixed-size strap. I can't even put the shoes on because the opening is too small to get my heel and ankle through. I have enjoyed a number of H2's in the past but sadly I am returning these.

The only difference between this pair of Newport H2s and the ones I previously bought is the color; however, this came and felt a half size too small. I thought maybe the new shoes were now being made a little differently so I just returned them for a half size larger and went back to my original color. They came and felt a half size too large! Is Keens varying their sizes based on the color of the shoe?? So those got returned for a half size smaller. Zappos has been great with the free exchanges but it's very frustrating that you can't count on Keens' sizes being consistent across the different colors of the same shoe style.

I bought these and after 2 weeks using these near saltwater the stitching fails. I bought another pair thinking this was a fluke and same results. I contacted Keen and they denied there being a problem. I took their word and bought yet another pair, and the exact same results. I've seen similar reviews, these will not hold up against saltwater. No I'm buying a pair from another company at half the cost and they seem better.

I bought these for my 12 year old son. He could not get them on his feet. When he wore children's sizes, they had an opening with velcro. It would be much better if there was an adult style with this feature. We had to return them. What I replaced them with did not work nearly as well as the old children's Keens worked. However, L.L.Bean was great about taking them back.

I thought that the Keen product was good and this was the reason why I got them. I did not use them that often but noticed the flaw of the back strap. It's coming loose and making the shoe very difficult to wear safely. I am highly disappointed.

Disappointing. There is very little give in the soles, and these resist mainly from the outside edge, producing an odd tilt. The result for me was heel and hip pain after just a few hours of wear, and still with me after a night's sleep. They are going to the charity shop.

I just returned mine as defective they didn;t even last 2 months of weekend only wear. The straps were coming out of the rubber sole. I checked online and this is very common for Keens. They offered me a replacement pair but every pair in the store I looked at had the same issue where the straps were separating from the rubber. I took the store credit instead and will use for something else another day.

I wear 8.5 in most shoes. This 8.5 was tight in width, the 9 was better in width but a bit long. These are the most uncomfortable contraptions I have ever tried. My feet started sweating instantly and the footbed felt like concrete but with painful ridges that add to the misery. Both sizes returned and Zappos is still the best.

I actually feel guilty writing a negative review since nearly all in the known universe have had only stellar experiences with the H2. I even still love an ancient pair of Keens that have endured 6 years of beaches and mountain trails, but nevertheless, my H2s arrived and remained stiiiiinky; just the insole, none of the other materials. I scrubbed them with every safe to use cleaning agent imaginable, but the odor never diminished. I only wore them if I was sure no one else was around...and then, after less than a year, one of the back straps pulls out entirely from the sole. Are they really only glued in place? What a burn..

I purchased these sandals last summer and they didn't last a year. And they were only worn during the summer months. I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of these sandals. These are not cheap shoes. A cheap pair from Wal-Mart last longer than these did and I can buy 5 pairs for what I spent on these.

The Newport H2 has a design flaw that I was unaware of. I bought them as insurance in case my older model Keens might become a problem on a month long overseas trip. Instead, the new pair structurally failed: on the sides where synthetic strap material is stitched to a center leather semi-rectangle, the threads gave way and the only thing holding them together was the stretchy inside liner material which was tearing apart. I just paid a local shoe repair to re-stitch these failed connection points; the cobbler told me he has had to make many similar repairs to Keen sandals. So, these cannot be trusted for an away adventure trip and will be relegated to only neighborhood use.
I checked and my old pair is a different model, not the Newport H2. That pair has a continuous piece of leather material all along the sides: no stitched together side straps to fail. They are old and well worn after many adventure trips. If I choose to replace them with another pair of Keens, I now know to verify this important side construction detail.

Item fell apart. Sandals used as a pair for vacations. Soles became unglued with wearing only 5x. Not sure if warranty will be honored.
