Perfect for water - I bought these shoes for working with my dog in Lake Michigan. They are very comfortable and absorb absolutely no water. When I get home I just hose them off and they are dry in minutes. They take a little getting used to getting them on. It is important to make sure you slide your foot as far forward into the sandal before trying to pull up the heel strap. Once on they hold the foot securely and comfortably, no rubbing at all when properly adjusted.

Comfortable shoe - I spent a long time deciding on these shoes, as they are quite expensive compared to other brands/types in their niche. I finally reconciled the expense and ordered them. After wearing them for a few hours, I am still not convinced I made a good decision. While I consider them sturdy and safer than most (the toe cap alone may be worth the price), they don't seem very well made. They seem a bit flimsy. So the jury is still out.

No chance of stubbing your toes in these sandals - They fit fine except for the sole underneath my right big toe, which curves up where it shouldn't. I'm gradually breaking it in, though. I enjoy the protective caps over the toes because I kick things all day long at work and they save my toes.

I must have tried about 10 different pairs of the women's, going back and forth between sizes and the regular and the H2. Finally ended up with a men's because my feet are long and skinny. The shoes themselves are a little clunky, but super comfortable! No break in period, felt great right away. My boyfriend HATES the way they look (and I admit they aren't pretty) but it's worth it in terms of comfort! :o) Perfect for theme parks where your feet get wet but you want more support and something that will stay on your feet. We walked and stood all around the park and at the end of the day, my legs weren't tired at all and my back felt great! And HIS feet were all wrinkly and waterlogged from being inside sneakers all day, but not mine! Also kayaking/canoeing, perfect especially if you are planning on getting out along the way and hiking a bit. Very satisfactory!

Replacement Sandals - Overall very comfortable and everyone comments on how they like the look. I bought these as replacements for some standard "Birkenstock" style sandals I have worn for ages. But, the kids always want me to run around with them, so I figured I should get something with a back-strap. These work out quite well!

Keen H2 - Great shoe, very comfortable. Only drawback is when wearing without socks, shoe may get some foot odor after a couple days wearing. I wash them with soap and water after each use.

New shoe H2 Review- I was startled to find my shoe had arrived in less than 24 hours. Amazing. I liked their fit and convenience. The only problem I have with them is that I had been told that the soles would absorb moisture and they did not. My foot often feels wet. Other than that, they look great and can be worn almost anywhere.

A hip 60-year-old - I bought these shoes for my dad who likes to wear socks with sandals. These look a lot better. He hikes the beach in them barefoot and throws on socks with them to go into town. They are very versatile though they look a bit clunky.

Looks like a racket, wears like a dream. While the Keen does have the look of a badminton racket, the fit is superb. Easy to put on, fit can be adjusted (I sometimes wear socks with my Keen's) and has good support. Like the toe protection as I also hike in my pair. For all that, I guess I can live with the look!

Newport H2 Review - I have to admit that I'm not perfectly happy with my Keens. They are very much as advertised, but the enclosed style has its drawbacks, namely: gravel! While wading on a gravely lake shore, I kept getting small rocks and sand trapped inside. I also find that my feet slide around some, but I think a 13.5 vs. my little 14's would take care of that. I suppose that a tighter fit could also help keep debris out, but unfortunately, no half size comes that large. Basically, these are very well made sandals, but I think I will wind up wearing my old Columbia toe and ankle, Velcro strapped models.

H2 multi-shoe - These are my 6th pair of Keen's. Mainly purchased them to cover my ugly toes and yet feel as if I was wearing a sandal. Also needed a water sport shoe for "holiday world". The canvas does retain water for a while, and in my size (14) they get heavy with that chunky sole. Love the color scheme. Love ZAPPOS!

Keen H2 - I like this shoe, it looks very good. I ordered 1/2 size larger and it fits excellent. The only downsides I see is the toe does not have a good grip on wet surfaces; I bought this shoe for fishing. But I feel this would serve better for walking or water sports, being that the toe will slip on wet boat decks. I also found that the shoe does not dry quickly and the sole is a little rough on my feet. But I think that may be what gives it good support, so I can overlook that. I like the closed toe and it really fits snug. I wear this shoe every weekend and it looks very good. I'm going to look for another shoe for my fishing trips, but beside the fishing aspect, I think this is a great product.

Great shoe! Really does fill the hybrid role well! I like the open feel of a sandal, but really want the closed toe safety of a shoe. Keen's Hybrids give both! I feel like I can go anywhere with these bad boys. No more worries of stubbing toes or scooping up a bunch of debris as with sandals. I recommend trying these on at a store to make sure the strapping hits your toes correctly (specifically your little toe). The ruggedness and waterproof qualities built in to the shoe are awesome. Very easy to keep them looking (and smelling) their best!

Keen Newport H2 - I agree with the reviewer who said the H2s are sticky to wear, and that traction in water is not what you would expect, but on the cobblestone streets of Antigua, they saved my back from hurting. I LOVED them.

Good sandals. I am new to Keen's Newport. The sandals felt a little tight and not "airy" at first. After wearing them, they feel good and a very comfortable to put on. They give a better sense of support when wearing them -- I don't feel like I am going to fall out of them. They are nice looking and overall good sandals. I would recommend them to others.

A bit warm for a sandal - The Keens are very comfortable in terms of cushioning and fit, but definitely warm in the hot weather we've been having. My feet do not get as much air exchange as with other sandals I've worn. They also take a bit longer to put on - no quick slip into these. I do like them, though, and wear them all the time in the summer.

Comfort - I wore your product for 6 days on a daily basis, averaging 10 hours per day, through water, sand and hard concrete (I went to Disney World in Orlando, Fl.) I got a blister on each middle toe of each foot. They look a little too wide from the front and too narrow from the back. I was not 100% comfortable. The heel was a little too hard.

Fun Duck Feet Sandal - Neat little offering from Keen with their signature stylish "duck feet" look. Quite comfortable for a sandal. Nice roomy toebox, molded anatomically so your toes "grip" nicely. I'd recommend it for this category.

Great Stability and Great look - Stability is important when walking in shallow water with rough, uneven bottom. The Keen Newport H2 stands up to the test. Good comfort and support. They look great. Actually have gotten several compliments on their look.

Better than I thought! I bought these for hiking in places where the shoes will get wet and filthy. I never thought I’d be wearing them around Brooklyn, but they're too comfortable and easy not to! I still think they look kind of ridiculous, but it hasn't stopped me from wearing them all the time this summer.

Satisfied user - I rarely wear sandals and, as a result, am always battling athlete's foot in the summer. After reading the reviews I ordered these shoes a half-size larger than my normal size and they fit well. Most of the time they feel very comfortable and I can feel the air circulating. Occasionally, on a hot day my feet do begin to feel uncomfortable from being in contact with the unbreathable synthetic material of the shoe. But that's rare. I like the way the enclosed toe protects my toes. A good shoe but I will probably order a more open model next time.

Great shoe, new look - Definitely something diff. and have already gotten compliments. Very comfortable, order at least a half size above your normal size. I ordered another pair in brown too.

Almost perfect - I've been wearing these shoes almost everyday for the past two years. They still look new and the soles haven't worn down at all. The only problem I had with these shoes came about when walking in water with a gravel bottom. Gravel appears to be attracted to these shoes and because of the toe board the only way to get it out is to take the shoes off, which is a pain. Several times when canoeing I had to take these sandals off completely because of this.
