I've been wearing Keen shoes for two seasons now and I love the amphibious ability they have, as I live on a lake. I have also worn them to Boy Scout Camp, too. The problem here is that I cannot buy the H2 in a wide enough size from Zappos. The H2 I purchased were too narrow at a D width, and I had to give them to my son. I would love to buy two new pairs at an EEEE width and size thirteen. Can someone help me with this?

These are one of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever bought! They fit so well, and are really stylish looking. They look cute with jeans or shorts as well as with casual summer dresses and skirts. The only downside to them is that the lack of lining inside and the waterproof footbed means that your feet stink after wearing them for an entire day (you will try and blame the sandals, but it's your feet). The sandals themselves are easy to clean, and don't hold onto odors once your feet aren't in them - They also dry really fast if you actually use them as water sandals.

Comfortable shoe when properly fitted...They run about a size small and are uncomfortably hot if they don’t fit right...Next time I may go with a version with a little less webbing.

Great fitting active sandal. Offers moderate protection around the foot and toes which are a plus. Use them all the time by the pool, boat, and docks, as well as going shopping in them... all around good utility shoe! True to fit and great ease of tightening/loosening. Love it!

Not for narrow feet - If you look closely at the detail photos, you can see that the foam lining is a single, continuous layer underneath the tongue area and the sandal straps. When you cinch up the zip cord and the straps get drawn together, this foam lining has nowhere to go, so it wrinkles up and folds over itself - very noticeable in the first few paces walking around the house. If you have narrow feet like mine (B-C width), this is a deal breaker. Good news is that the Keen Laguna is very similar in price, style & fit (although it's leather), but the foam lining doesn't extend down the sandal straps - when you cinch up the cord, the straps overlap the tongue area and the foam doesn't bunch up at all.

A nice mostly closed-up sandal with good support and cushioning (not a slipper). I went out with an open toed sandal on a hot day in April and could barely walk for two days. I walked for almost four hours in these sandals and had no problems. I can't wait to try them in the rain or across a stream since they are designed for the water. A good purchase.

Well Built - These Keen shoes appear well made and are quite sturdy. Required a bit of breaking in before they were truly comfortable, but I have a wide foot. Should work well for riverbank fishing this summer.

Great sandal/shoe - I just took away 1 star overall because they don't provide much of a grip on slippery rocks. But what shoes really do? Also they don't dry as fast as I expected after reading the reviews.

Love this shoe!! I wear a 7 medium and this shoe runs narrow and I had at least an inch from my big toe to the front of the shoe. I found it at a local department store and ended up purchasing a 6-1/2 Wide which fits perfectly. This shoe is very comfy and so stylish. I had to return it to Zappos but they make returns so easy. I only wish Zappos had offered this shoe in wide widths. I gave this shoe 3 stars overall due to it running narrow and 5 stars for both comfort and style.

Not too bad - These are pretty comfy. Worked well for my trip around Yellowstone, but not recommended for hiking as rocks tend to get into them pretty easily. Also, they are not as cool as I had hoped, but they're comfortable summer walking shoes.

Looks Great- On Everyone Else's Feet! I just ordered this shoe because several of my friends have them and love them. I must have goofy feet, because the shoes just do not look right on me (my pinky toe looks like its about to pop out through one of the slots in the side- I think it's just the unfortunate layout of my feet rather than the sandals). I'm sending them back and ordering some trusty ol' Tevas. On a side note, I ordered these at around 10 pm last night and they arrived TODAY at 3:15 pm. Zappos- the...best...company...online...hands down!!

Keen's Newport H2 - Despite the feel you have of heat and of walking on plastic when you 1st put it on, you get over it quickly. This shoe really is comfortable and protects your foot much more than you would have thought.

Like the shoes... I have had these for about 3 weeks, and I have been wearing them a ton. I like wearing sandals, but prefer how my toes are enclosed with these shoes. I think the shoes are generally "odor free" as advertised. I find my feet sweat in them a little more than a more open sandal like a Teva. While waterproof, they do dry slowly. So getting them wet doesn't do any damage, as long as you don't mind damp shoes for next day. Haven't done too much athletic in them (hiking, etc.), so I can't comment on how functional they are for more strenuous activity. (As an aside, I was quite happy with Zappos! I ordered a two-day shipping, and got bumped to overnight for free -- awesome!)

I'm buying my second pair now - These are the most comfortable and durable sandals I have owned...I'm finally replacing them after three and a half years of wear. I have traveled all over the world with these. They are great sport sandals and have held up well to machine washings. The only negative thing I would say is that they trap sand and stones inside due to the narrow strap design, but you can easily remove the sandals and dump out the debris.

Good value for a water shoe - This is a good water shoe. Very solid for walking on rocks in the water. Lots of stability and protection. Only complaint would be that beach sand gets in, accumulates, and won't come out without taking off the shoe and rinsing. I normally wear an 11.5, but had to re-order an 11 for this shoe. If you get a shoe that is too long, your little toe can pop out the side. Overall I like the shoe for water activity, but I think it is a little hot for normal wear (but then I don't like anything more confining than a flip-flop).

New H2s look sharp, not quite as comfortable as my old pair - I've had a pair of Newports for about 3 years now. The first time I put them on, they felt like I had slipped my feet into incredibly comfortable gloves. The material the old pair is made of is micro-fiber like. It has a little stretch to it and I really like that. The material in the new pair reminds me of ballistic nylon. It seems incredibly durable and seems to hold up well. These new H2s just don't have that wrap-my-foot-like-a-glove that I get from the old pair. I still enjoy wearing them, they are comfortable, and they are my “dress” Keens now. I still slip on the old pair when I can though.

Nice Water Shoe - These water shoes are comfortable and don't rub. They dry very easily and are comfortable to walk in when wet. The only complaint is that they're somewhat heavy for what they are.

Two problems for me - I bought my Newport H2s in order to take only one pair of shoes on an upcoming trip to Hawaii, figuring these would be the only shoes I need. I've been wearing them regularly to break them in (get my feet used to them?) and have a couple problems. The nylon webbing from the toe on the outside of both shoes rubs my little toe the wrong way. For a shoe with such a generous toe-box, I expected a little more room for the pinky-toes. The contour of the heel cup on the left shoe is too narrow/deep. It's not that I have one wide heel as I have other shoes (and other Keens) that fit fine. This IS slowly flattening and feeling better as I wear them, but I almost returned my H2s. Other than these two issues, they're getting comfortable after one week of break-in. Support and width are perfect, the upper feels great against bare feet, there's no weird seams/tags/stitches that rub a hole in your foot the first day you wear them, etc. For what it's worth, my Keen brand leather lace-up shoes are super comfortable, so my review is not a dig at Keen.

Radical Zapatos! These shoes are weird and indescribable. When I walk down the streets in Bali this spring with my pasty white feet shining through these size 15 Keens, it's going to stop traffic! The standard medium size is easily wide enough for my wide feet and the shoes appear to be very strongly built. Since it's winter right now, I haven't been able to road test them yet, but I am anticipating great things.

Current River Canoe - These sandals are very comfortable as an outdoor/hiking sandal. If you’re canoeing they will not handle the rocks well. I picked them out for 4 days straight in the Ozarks. Water sports with not a lot of small rocks are o.k. The fit was true to size.

Strange Lacing System - Talk about being straight laced? These sandals are great fitting but hard to get the back strap on being they do not tie. How does one get replacement laces, if the dog eats the current ones? Small complaint for an otherwise great shoe.

Keen H2 Sandals - Bought them and immediately went to the Middle East with them to put'em to the test. I'm flat footed and particular about shoes and the arch support they provide. My feet thank me for picking these shoes. They stay cool and dry in extreme heat. My only complaint is that some of the neoprene covering, nylon, under the nylon straps, is coming off after only owning them for less than a month. If you put some hard miles on these, they don't appear to fair well on the outside. Doesn't seem to affect any of the other aspects of the shoe.
