My first pair of Keen shoes for Men. I love the feel and support plus great construction. They feel a little too narrow only at one section so I am going to order a 1/2 size up and see if that does it. Otherwise love them!

On the Keen website and elsewhere there are comments about these shoes being about one-half size too small. Last year, I bought a pair of these in my normal 10.5 size and the fit was fine. This year, I bought another 10.5 pair in a different color. They were too small. A reorder pair in size 11 fit OK. Other than a little uncertainty about sizing, descriptions about these shoes are accurate. The return process was painless and a refund was handled pretty quickly. Shipping for both pairs (and other shoes I've ordered from Zappos) was very quick.

Solid & stable. A bit difficult to get on at first but I expect that to change as they break in. Very durable because of the hard sole.

What else is there to be said that hasn't already been said about these shoes? I bought them as a gift for my husband and he was very happy with them. Size, fit, quality as expected.

This is my 3rd pair of Keen Newport H2's, it seems to me that they have reduced the size of the shoe. The whole shoe is much smaller, they are very hard to get on, are they trying to save on material? These are much hard to get on than my other 2 pair. The tongue & heel loop are much smaller, must be made for people with child like fingers..

This shoe was meant for my autistic son and he usually has no problem putting on his shoes but because he has fine motor issues this shoe was impossible for him to put on. We tried and tried. I even ordered the next size up and he was still unsuccessful. We wound up going with a different brand that had a Velcro closure.

I bought these shoes as boat shoes. My boat has a white deck and is marked some times by the shoes, which is disappointing. My Sperry Topsiders do a better job of leaving no marks. I have had the shoes now for two weeks. I wore the shoes this weekend while in New York City. After 20 blocks of walking without socks, I developed small blisters on the top of the large knuckle on my both big toes. Bandaids over the blisters allowed me to continue walking. I really do love the shoes, hate the blisters. My feet get dirty when walking in a dusty area, which is not surprising since they are not closed shoes. I loved the fact that I didn't stub my toes on anything while walking in NYC even though I certainly hit a number of things while walking. That was one thing I don't like about my Chacos. I would buy again, very nice shoes. I would have given 5 stars if I had gotten no blisters this weekend. Oh, don't expect to be able to slide them shoes on like Sperry Topsiders. You have to bend over and pull the back up behind your heel to get them on.

My 14 year old has been wearing Keen Newport H2s since he could walk. I ordered his first pair in "adult" size and was bummed to realize that they don't have the velcro strap over the top of the foot as the youth model does. He tried it out but didn't like slipping on the adult sandal - it felt too restrictive and tight for him (sensory issues).

Was going to keep these but after trying some Merrill sandals am returning the Keen. They are bit bulky and heavier than all the other sandals I've tried - about 1/2 dozen different brands / styles at this point. Decent shoe, I just find the Merrills more comfortable.

The Keen Newport H2 really is an outstanding sandal. If you're looking for a sandal that you can wear every day, all day, everywhere, including in the water, you should check these out. That being said, these were not for me. I was looking for water sandals strictly for salt water and beaches. These were too heavy duty for that purpose, but I found exactly what I was looking for in the Keen Clearwater CNX.

I ordered size 12 and 13 for my husband. He normally wears a 12, but sometimes 12.5. The 12.5 probably would have fit, but I don’t think Keen makes them in 12.5. 13 was too big/gappy and on the 12 rubbed his little toes. I had to send both back. I’ll provably try to find a different style with open toe in a size 12.

The shoes are very comfortable and true to size. My husbands only complaint is that his feet get stinky in them.. but that just might be his feet.

Overall I am pleased with these shoes. They are built well, and generally fit. They seem slightly tight to get on. They are comfortable to walk in, but tend to make my feet hot.

My first pair had a slight defect which Bean quickly remedied. After a short break in to "break in the fit", the sandals were very comfortable and stable. Handled water shedding well and were just comfortable all day long. Hated to see cold weather come so they are waiting for the spring.

Not waterproof. Soles are, straps are not. They stay wet until they are dried out overnight. If you get them wet while its warm and sunny then expect to wear them as the night gets chilly then you'd have very cold feet. Not as advertised.

Pros: - High quality construction, will probably be very durable - Attractive - Very comfortable sole for short distances Cons: - A very warm shoe. I assumed they would be cool because of the venting, but the solid rubber insole means no airflow to the sole of the foot. - One strap is uncomfortable. Even though fully loosened, the top strap rubbed a hole on the bridge of my foot on a 3-mile hike.

Quality control has slipped over the years. This is my third pair. While the length and width seem to be about the same, the size of the opening that you must put your foot through to slip in is so much smaller than my past two pairs, though they were the exact same size as these new ones. Really have to fight to get the sandals on, but then the fit is fine. I should send them back but figure a good workout every morning trying to put my shoes on will be good for me. We'll se...

This is the 3rd pair of Keen H2s I had over the last 10 years. The good: H2s are well constructed, offer very good arch support, are waterproof and easy to clean. The bad: The quality of construction, while still good, is not nearly what it used to be. The first pair lasted 6 years with nearly daily summer use, and I'm a big guy pushing 275 lbs. The only thing that wore out was the sole. The second pair lasted about 4 years, again with nearly daily summer use. Within the first season of use, the stitching on the straps started to come undone. This was repairable, but annoying. Then the soles got cracks in them where the straps attach. A great place to hide lots of sand from the beach. This pair is still kicking around for yard work. I just got a new pair of H2s and either my feet are still growing, or these things are getting smaller. I had to return for a half size up and could've gone a full size. Over the course of 3 shoes, over 10 years, I've gone up 2 whole sizes. Please do yourself a favor and order a full size larger. I've also noticed that the strapping material is less flexible than the last two pairs I've owned. I'm hoping it loosens up over time. Overall, a very comfortable, outdoor, do anything, get em wet , dries fast sandal. We'll see how long these new ones last.
