These are sturdy sandals, I use them for light hiking or just around town. I like these a lot better than my previous pair of Keen Newport H2 - the H2 style are all rubber and synthetic, and for whatever reason they made my feet sweat like crazy. These do not have the same problem. They are comfortable and look nice (at least as nice as they could, should you decide on the sock and sandal look). I have only had them for a few months, but leather and rubber all seem to be high quality and durable. Two thumbs up.

Purchased as a replacement for my original Keens - that's how much I like them. I purchased them again! Very comfortable and work so well for any activity I'm out doing.

Nice sandal shoes. Great to wear when you want to wear sandals, but protect your toes, like in crowds of people or on a light hike in the woods. They seem larger that many shoes of today. I used to buy size 12 medium, but in the past 5+ years I've had to go to a 13 wide. So I initially bought a size 13 in these and wore them. But after a while I noticed my pinkie toe would sometimes catch the side slit. So I bought a size 12 too. No more pinkie issues. So with these Keen Newports, I found the size 12 regular (they don't come in wide) is a better fit for me. And being totally weather proof is great...no worries with rain or even ocean salt water. They look clean and new without even rinsing. Just one thing, when wearing to the beach the fluffy sand gets in there and doesn't flop back out as it does with open toe sandals. I recently played badminton with them on. All I had to do was cinch up the laces (which is quick and easy) and I was good to go, kinda like wearing a pair of sneakers. I gave my size 13 pair to my best friend and he loves them and says they are comfortable for his large frame. (6'4 and 265 pounds.)

These were a big hit with my husband. He says they fit/feel great and he likes the added element of toe protection on these rugged sandals.

I have been shopping Zappos for several years and I would not buy shoes anywhere else. Great selection, good prices and unbelievable service. My order is at my door within a couple of days and returns are handled very professionally with a personal touch. Great job Zappos!

First off, make sure you order these at least 1 size larger! I'm a 9 1/2 and ordered 10s. They still feel a bit snug (that's why I only gave them 4 stars instead of 5 for comfort). Great sandals for anything active.

Great shoe. I had a pair of Newports for 4 years and I got rid of them because the show was not as comfortable (worn out sole). I went a year without a pair. I picked these up several weeks ago and my feet could not be happier. Having at least one pair of Keens in my footwear rotation is a must.

Since the first Keens 6 years ago, our whole family has gotten them and has happily worn them thin. They are basically indestructible despite daily abuse. We are just starting now the replacement process, not because they would be broken in some way, but because have just started to look beaten up. And, as usual, my feedback about Zappos service is stellar!

Love these! Got the greenish ones and they are just a tad lighter in color than they look in the pics. Fit true to size, are perfectly comfortable out of the box and look to be good for years of use. My friend has a pair that I've envied for 3 years and he swears his are as good as new. I wanted something cool enough for Florida summer but with enough foot protection that I ride my motor scooter around town with safe toes. These go way beyond that for usefulness though--I wear them constantly!

Being a size 16, it's hard to find a shoe that fits without trying it on first - but these fit pretty well when they arrived. Not that much arch support (I have flat feet), but when you're in the water and sand at the beach, that's not my main concern. Good product, dries well, and fits snugly in the water without causing chafing. I like that the toes are covered. I would buy a pair again if needed.

I had given my pair of Keen Newport away while traveling in Sri Lanka. I was on my way out of the country and a friend of mine lost his (by two dogs chewing them to shreds) so I gave him mine. The long story short. Great traveling sandal...well the traveling sandal. Good for minor hikes and great for bumpy and hazardous sidewalks in far away cities.

These shoes came extremely fast and fit well. The image is just like the real deal; very happy with the purchase. Service was excellent, only concern is break in of the shoes. I like them a lot!
