I have "bad" feet thus I am pretty wary about sandals with regards to wearing them for long periods of time. I can't say enough about them. They are very comfortable and have good wet traction.

Great sandals, plenty of support. Size wise I think they run just a little small. I usually wear a 9.5, but ended up needing a 10 with these sandals. However, with Zappos great customer service, returning the 9.5 for a 10 was not a problem. All I can say is "great sandals" and "Zappos is great to deal with!"

These are the summer shoes to have! Perfect fit, comfortable, and packaged in a good looking style.

I was extremely pleased with the service, everything worked as advertised, which seems to be a rarity these days and the company has a perky upbeat attitude. I purchased this model when they first came out about 7yrs ago and have been in the river, ocean and I used them for backpacking with my grandson when I forgot my boots. I still can wear my old ones but not as much now. I wear an orthotic in my other shoes but not these. What a great shoe!

Overall quality item with nice features and good comfort in multiple uses. Fully lined yet not bulky in overall feel. When you wear a 14 or 15 not everything looks quite as stylish when it arrives. Great value.

This is my third pair of Keen Newports. Each pair has served me well. I've used them in wet environments, as well as dry. I also used them on many cobblestone European streets while stationed in Germany. I order a half size larger than my regular shoes. Fantastic footwear. Highly recommend!

My second pair. Wore the first for 6 years and still have them. Very durable. Great for walking, hiking, and with casual clothes...jeans or shorts. Like the protected toe when on a trail or in grass and vegetation. This pair in Size 12 seemed a slightly tighter fit, but it may be they need to be worn and stretched, or my feet have gotten larger. Note: Can be slippery when on wet, smooth rocks. Once fell in stream when soles slipped on wet, exposed rocks as I crossed the stream. Bare feet would have been better.

My last pair of Newports were purchased in 2006. Get these not eh H series. I still think they are the best made shoe by Keen. I wore this first pair in the ocean and at an aquarium with harsh sterilizing chemical and they finally gave out this yr. Hiked and trekked with them. Hope these new ones perform this well.

Amazing! These Keens fit like a warm sock...never had a pair of shoes (sandals) fit so perfect the minute you put them on. Half size up from normal good advice. Zappos is the greatest online store!

What a great summer shoe for Colorado! I got these to replace the Teva Dozer, which are great, but these are much better. I like how they are elastic enough to slip on without any adjustment of the string. The soles are as comfortable as a running shoe. My pair ran just slightly small (I'd order a half size up if you don't like a tight fit).

Love these Keen's. This is my husband's favorite shoe. He will wear it from March until it snows. Feels like a gym shoe with the comfort of a sandal.

I'm a big guy and have never been much of a sandals person, but the Newports were the first pair I have bought. What I liked the most was the fully enclosed toe, as I am hard on my feet when hiking, etc. I have to say I have been extremely pleased with these shoes, so much so I am back to buy another pair after four years of solid summer use (yeah, I probably should have hung them up after three...) Comfort was excellent, wearing them all day has never been a problem. They also held up very well through numerous bouts with salt and fresh water, rain and mud. Just a good hosing off is all they'll need. Was amazed that the bungee fasteners held up through all the wear and tear. Still has adequate tread, but the cusion and support finally wore completely out. The only negative I would mention is that they may seem a bit heavy, as the sole and upper are purpose-built and substantial. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with these shoes if you're looking for a good all-purpose hiker that keeps your piggies safe.

Newports are fantastic. My first pair has some life left after 6 years of ocean, biking, hiking, etc. For my feet I had to have 1/2 size larger. The color of this particular model is not the same as the picture. The yellow is similar, but the other is more gray than tan looking in the pic.

A very comfortable shoe at a reasonable price. Easy to order, good service, fast delivery. Everything I could ask for.

This is the third pair of Keen Newports that I have ordered for my husband over the last decade. They never wear out - we only buy new when the sweat order overwhelms. Great for many outdoor activities (except in the sand). He loves them.

This is the second pair of these I've ordered for my husband. The first pair lasted 8 years! Recently he casually mentioned that he needed a new pair of Keens. A few weeks later I looked at the bottom and he had literally worn a hole through the sole (he's pretty rough on shoes) and was still wearing them because he still liked them better than all of his other shoes! I got him the exact same color and style as before, and he loves them (of course.) Great for moderate hiking & the toeguard makes them ideal for playing in the river.

I placed my order in the evening, and my order arrived the next day! Due to the cold weather & snow, I have only been able to wear my new Keens one time, but I love them! The color is true and the fit is perfect! Customer service is fantastic! Web site is easy to use! I have already told my family members, "if you need anything, check out Zappos!"

I love these shoes. The elastic lace and the neoprene around the ankle make it very easy to slip on and off, eliminating the need to readjust every time you put them on. As the reviews have stated, you need to get a full size larger (e.g. if you're a size 13, buy a 14). They are super comfortable out of the box, and will only get better as they wear in. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.

Purchased these for my son, who is very pleased with them. He said they are very comfortable to walk in.
