After wearing out the insides of my old Keen outdoor sandals I looked for my replacement pair. I selected these Newports after trying many other brands included specialized orthopedic sandals. None were more comfortable than the Keen Newport. At first there was some tightness in the toes but the sandal fits well once the blackstrap is stretched a little bit through normal wear. Very pleased with the purchase

Live in these things - took me several years and constant rough stuff to wear my 1st pair out.

I was not surprised that my Keen shoes from LL Bean exceeded my expectations. A waterproof river shoe that is rugged and durable but looks like a classy sandal.

If you order a half size up like so many reviews and the item description suggests, no problem, Not quite sandal weather in the Midwest in early March, but I'm loving these around the house dreaming of warm weather adventures to come.

My husband loved, loved, loved these sandals for fit and comfort.

I planned to use these for hiking, and they are wonderful. They conform to the shape of my foot, allowing for a firm fit. The sandals offer excellent traction and stability, no slipping and sliding. I live in the Caribbean, so comfort in the heat is paramount - once again these sandals fill the bill.

Just puchased my second pair, after wearing out the first (with the help of a Lab mix puppy). Very versitile, woorking well on urban streets, hiking paths and under water. Because of the enclosed toe, thick sole, and substantial amount of lined leather, these sandals are neither light nor cool (temperature), as far as sandals go. But they can stand up to the hazards of both the New Orleans French Quarter and a rock river bottom. The product description suggested ordering 1/2 size larger than normal; I followed the suggestion and was very pleased with the fit.

I'm wearing these as I write (here in November!). Great fit, excellent support, real quality shoes. I've tried for the past year to find the "perfect" sandals, to replace a pair that I wore for several years and literally wore them into the ground and finally had to toss them. I tried this style of sandal in Teva and even one of the other LL Bean types and neither worked out. Then I hit the jackpot with these! I'm considering buying another pair just so that a few years down the road, when these Keen's finally wear out, I'll be assured there is a successor waiting :-).

Very comfortable and functional

I was looking for something to slip on my feet quickly and went through multiple shoes in the Colonie Center store. Derek, my sales consultant, was very patient while I tried on multiple comfort moccasins and slides. I have slightly wider feet and they are difficult to fit because of an arthritic condition. Even though nothing seemed to be working, Derek never lost his patience or his cheer. I was about to give up when on a whim, I tried on the display pair of Keen Newport Sandals, which just happened to be in my size. It was heaven at first step. I leave them at work and slip them on when regular shoes become painful. They've truly been a blessing.
