Easy on, easy off, rugged and so comfortable. If you get them muddy, just hose them off. I like them so much, this pair makes my 5th pair all in different colors and my first pair must be approaching 10 years old!

New favorite shoes for sure. The fit is perfect for my foot. They are by far more comfortable and supportive than any sandals I've ever owned. I wear wides in all of my shoes. Even my keen utility winter shoes are 14 EE. These sandals are actually wider than my regular keens even though they are just a regular 14 M. I bought them for kayaking and fishing. I haven't worn them in the water yet, but since its spring they have become my every day wear shoes. I'll update if they are bad in water but if all other reviews any indication, that's probably impossible.

I ordered these Keen sandals for my husband and he really likes the looks and the comfort. The black pepper color turned out very nice, too.

This is the fourth pair of Keen sandals I have bought for my husband. It is his daily shoe in the summer, and for our warm weather vacations. Durable, comfortable, and looks about the same after a full season of wear.

I've always loved the Newport H2 from Keen and decided to give this a try. They are just as comfortable as the H2 version but looked a bit more dressed up with the leather. I liked them both. I hope the leather version is just as long lasting as the H2.

Great outdoor shoe for summer. Offers protection and easy to slide on.

Greatest sandal ever made!!

I have had a pair of a competitors open toe sandal for 14 years. (you know the one) Very robust, stays on the foot well with the multi strap system. I really like this type sandal.....but...I destroy my toes all the time. Rocks, docks, on the boat. My wife has a permanent supply of big band-aids and hydrogen peroxide in her purse during the summer months. The KEEN Newport H2 solved the problem. My toes are crying with joy. I bought two pair. One pair is two years old and the other is three years old. Stitching is all good and not pulling out anywhere. The patina on the uppers has various shading changes from my hard use. One brilliant point about the design is the large toe box. The extra room also provides shock absorption when you smack the front end on something. Also the added room makes the shoe very comfortable. Why other manufacturers have not adapted this design I do not know. The size and width seemed true to size. The only feature that I don't like is that they are not good for swimming or jumping in the water quickly from a boat. My other sandals with the multi strap system stayed rock solid on the foot. I would enter and exit the water without thinking about what is on my feet. Keep in mind that I don't think the H2 is designed for that purposes.

My first pair of any sort of Keens was the Newport, which I loved and still wear. But Keen made a mistake in narrowing the toebox in their newer Newports. That reduced their comfort in my opinion, and I can't understand why they chose to do so. I got a pair of the H20 variety and they're way less enjoyable because of this change.

After wearing other brands, which turn out to be much less a shoe than these Keens, do oneself a favor...purchase these Keen Newports! This shoe is superior in ALL areas to any would-be contenders.

I absolutely love these sandals. They are men's but I (a woman) order them anyway. I have three pairs. I wear a size 9-1/2 in Women's but Keen's sizing is off so I order them in a size 8 Men's. They are SO comfortable.

After getting a pair of Keen Arroyo's, I found that these run about a 1/2 size too large for me, plus I did not like the flimsy material that made up the center piece. As always, I just returned the one I did not like, and then bought the Newport, which has a beefy leather center piece. I love Zappos!

Bought this pair for my husband. He loves it so much! Looks very nice enough that he can wear to fancy restaurant on a hot night.

Great shoe! My second pair. The first pair was almost 13 years old. You cant wear these shoes out they are tough, water resistant and with all that, very comfortable and never look bad even when worn on the river all day. Love the protection around the toes.
