These are so cute and get such great reviews, so I was excited to have my daughter try them. We stretched as instructed on the box and managed to get her wide feet in, but she wouldn't keep them on for more than a few seconds. Compared to the other sandals we tried, they were flat and hard, so I didn't try to talk her into them. Glad we gave another, cushier brand a go this order -- these are going straight back. I will say they were cute and I do like the idea that they're leather but ocean-friendly.

Too big!!

I am a little disappointed w/ the sizing of these sandals. I went by my daughter's usual shoe size as well as the size chart in inches. She is around a size 11 so I ordered her a 12 to grow into. Once they arrived they were GIGANTIC! But she loved them so much and they aren't super expensive so I kept them for her to grow in to. I ordered size 11 for her to wear now and when they arrived - they were also HUGE! She has about a thumbs length between the end of her toes and the end of the sandal! Her toes barely peek out from the last strap… So now we have TWO pair of sandals to grow in to and no sandals to actually wear. I would say these run at least two sizes big. The shoes are adorable (we got the silver) but I can't comment on how they wear as - we can't wear them yet. :( Even still, I love Zappos and will forever order from them!

I must start off by saying these shoes are really gorgeous. They look very well made and I figure they will hold up well to my daughter's activities. However, the problem is the buckle. My daughter is 5 years old and completely able to do zippers, buttons and buckles but these shoes are nearly impossible for even me to buckle and unbuckle. I'm sure it will loosen once the leather is worn but I can't say when that will be. I would love to return these horribly frustrating shoes! My daughter, however, has grown attached which means a five minute battle each day to put the shoes on and take them off. Even having bought them on sale, I feel that I wasted my money. I will never buy this brand of sandal again unless they provide buckles with a velcro backing. Never again!

Hard to get on my 4 year old's foot and even harder to get the strap back through the silver clasp. Stiff and uncomfortable. These would definitely cause blisters. Returning

I know I'm the odd ball here, but these sandals were a huge disappointment. They are very stiff and fit so strange. You really have to bend, shape and squeeze the shoes before you can even attempt to put your child's foot in, and even then, the fit is awful. There is truly no arch support, as you can plainly see in the picture. Also, the heel strap was too long for my daughter and is not adjustable, even when you tighten the ankle strap as tight as possible. Her heel always hung off the back, leaving a crazy amount of room at the toe, which made her trip a lot. These were a total waste. We tried them the next year to see if they fit better after her foot grew another size, but still had the same problem... too bad. I just don't understand why these are so popular. Makes no sense to me.

Hard sole shoe, straps crushed and disformed -

Love these sandals. Had them for almost 5 years and would definitely repurchase when these wear out. My only complaint is. They hurt really bad when I first got them and almost returned them. Once they were broken in they felt great.

We love Salt Water Sandals and have been buying them for our daughters since they were little. They hold up and even with tons of wear we are able to pass them from our older daughter to our younger one and then to younger cousins. I like the gold color because they can be dressed up or down. Even with the flat foot bed my girls have used them during our time traveling. Evening walks on cobblestone didn't seem to bother them at all. They've seen sand and city streets and always look great.

We love these shoes and buy them every year in gold. The best thing about these is that they can go from beach wear to pretty summer dresses. They are made to get wet so that they better mold to the child's feet. Great buy!

very Comfortable. But tight if you have wide feet. The thing I love about the shoes that you can wear them near the water but out and about as well. Another awesome point is that I can be matching my daughter who is seven. Highly recommend the shoes. I have three pairs.

I bought these for my Grandaughter she adores them they fit perfect and she loves to wear them i will be 100% purchasing from Zappos for all her shoes school is coming soon so will be buying her school shoes here thank you so much its was super easy and fast the customer service is GREAT I highly recommend these sandles and Zappos!

So cute! I bought for my granddaughter. I used to buy them for my kids when they were little. My granddaughter loves them. True to size and so cute and comfy.

This style runs a little big but they still look fine!

IVe been buying these for years. I always wore them as a kid too but mine were ugly black. Great sandals for everyday and easy to run and okay in.

Unfortunately, they were too small and had to return.

My daughter is a 10.5. I originally ordered a 10 since many reviews said they run big and to size down, but the 10 was too small. Her heel was hanging off the edge. Sent them back and got the 11. A little big but work fine. I’d say they run true to size! I got the shiny pink color and it’s a little brighter than the photo - like a ballet flat pink. Super cute!!

Best summer sandals! My daughter wears this pretty much every day in summer depending on the activities, switched off with Native, and literally nearly every day for school last fall till it's too cold. The sandals are still nicely holding up together, a bit sign of wear but overall look still very new and pretty! I am so happy about this purchase because it's a bit pricy for a little girl. I will for sure re-purchase for the upcoming summers. Highly recommend!
