Because these don't come in half sizes, I had trouble deciding to go up or down. I originally went down, but they just felt too small. Plus, little kids grow out of shoes really quickly, so I wanted to go up in size to save buying another pair. The kids did say the shoes were rubbing in a few places, but that's to be expected with leather shoes. A few wears in and that will go away.

I’ve alway loved Salt Water Sandals for my daughters. This particular style seems to run a size big. They hold up well. They are comfortable for the price point but not the most comfortable sandals out there. I’m very disappointed that Zappos shipping is nowhere near what it used to be. Our sandals arrived later than we needed so I had to send them back.

These definitely run big! My daughter is wearing a size 3 now and they were HUGE on her! Size 2 was perfect - they didn't barely fit, as I expected they would. Still have a good 1/2" at the toe. Very cute, nice quality sandals.

As with any Saltwater sandal, they are SUPER STIFF to begin with. They need to be submerged in water to soften up. A very easy process. Now they fit great and are comfortable to wear.

Order this brand every year!! My daughter loves them. Buy a pair every summer.

We buy one every year for my daughter. They are fun and go with every type of attire.

I need to return these. My daughter is barely a 10 but these are too small and she needs an 11.

So cute and a great color. Her toes wouldn’t peek it and It seems like she would trip over the long shoe. They are going back for a different style in the same brand.

I thought they were adorable and would be great summer sandals for my 9 year old who wears size 1-1.5. I ordered a 1 for her but she felt the strap on the back was too low and the footbed too wide. I had to return.

Might run big. Ordered 2 sizes for my daughter and was surprised the smaller size fit her.

I LOVE saltwaters! The colors are great and they are such a practical shoe - they survive summer play. I get a pair every summer for my daughter.

Love these shoes - but keep in mind they are definitely true to size. You cannot buy "up" a size for growing room - unfortunately!

I love the look of these shoes and buy them for my daughter every summer. I love that she can wear them in water and they hold up for the whole season, unlike cheaper brands. My only complaint is the lack of traction in the sole and the buckles are little hard to manage for young hands. They run very big so I always buy one size down and they fit perfectly.

My 5 year old LOVES these shoes. I don't. She cannot do the little buckle by herself, I have trouble doing the little buckle with little moving feet. I also thought these dark pink shoes would be the soft leather, but they are more of a shiny plastic leather. She has been wearing them a lot since we purchased, running, once in the rain. These have held up well!

Very cute, but my daughter has narrow feet. These were quite large on her, so we are returning them.

Cute sandal for the price. We picked the gold color and love it. Goes pretty much with everything. They do run big, so we had to go one size down. A little hard to close the sandal on her own at first, but it gets easier over time. We'll see how they hold up.

These are super cute. Both of my daughter's have a hard time with the sandal being a little tight on their upper feet so they will take time to break in (which kids have little patience for). Other than that they are cute and function for summertime fun!

I've bought a bunch of these throughout the years for my daughter. They hold up well, and once they mold to your feet are very comfortable. They are sometimes hit or miss with construction though. It seems sometimes the back straps are attached at a weird angle making it difficult to buckle.

Cute in silver. Runs large. We ordered the same shoe last year in gold, and returned it because it was just too big, and I wasn't wild about the gold. Because it was a different color, I couldn't do a straight exchange, so we just didn't replace. This year I got the smaller size in the silver for my daughter. Last year this came in a nice box, but this year it was in a baggie. Made me wonder if it had been returned. We are keeping it, but the strap was a little loose in one place.

I bought these sandals for my daughter after seeing how popular they were at her summer camp. She was so surprised and happy to try hers on and has worn them every day at camp including in the sprinklers at the playground. I did buy half a size smaller based on comments that I read here.

This was my first time purchasing this brand, so I really didn't know what to expect. The quality looks good. My daughter normally wears a size 13, and that's what I purchased, but her toes only just show beyond the top strap. I'm debating about whether to get her a smaller pair and save these ones for next year. She seems to like them, but has tripped over a few times by catching the front flap part on things (due to the shoe being too big).
