I really don't understand the hype behind these poorly fitting shoes. I like that they seem to be made with quality materials, but the fit is terrible. I bought the silver pair for my 4-year old and while the footbed was the right length, the heel strap (not adjustable) is too long and her heel was always hanging off the back of the sandal, and left a good 1.5 to 2 inch bit of extra toe space in front, causing her to trip. We kept them for the following year to see if the fit would improve as she grew, but it never got better. If only we could adjust that back strap so her foot wouldn't keep falling off the back, these shoes would be okay. Even then, the weird, flat fit of the top straps and the complete lack of support really make it hard to find anything about these shoes to like. I know, I know, all the trendy moms will point at me and shout "blasphemer" at the playground tomorrow, but seriously, these shoes kind of stink.

A classic, and for good reason. This is my 3.5-year-old daughter's third pair in three years. She wears these nearly every day in the summer, and they've held up so well that we can hand them down once she grows out of them. Only complaint is that there's no traction at all on the bottom, but as long as they're not worn on superslippery surfaces, they're perfect.

Great shoe. My 8 year old loves them - great for wider feet. Fashionable yet practical!

Cute, but definitely too big. Daughter said they weren't very comfortable but it could be they were juse too big. Also buckles a little hard for child to do. Will return for smaller size and see if those work.

Always our favorite classic sandal! Have them in 3 colors and counting...they seem to run a little big but last forever.

My two youngest children grew up in Salt water sandals out in California, and you could find them in almost any shoe store at that time. For my granddaughter, here in Oklahoma I can only order them from Zappos and the service is excellent. I have ordered one time from another store, and it took a long time for them to arrive, they were slightly cheaper but they charged for shipping, and no refunds or exchanges were allowed. Zappos is my sole supplier for these sandals my granddaughter has in four colors. The lime green is her very favorite, and she asks for her "geen sandaals all da time." They last forever and will go to the next granddaughter...and so will some new ones from Zappos!

I buy these shoes for my daughter every year. They are great quality and good for the park as well as dresses. She runs in them with no problem. She even wears them in the sprinklers and to the beach.

We love these shoes! Both my 3 year old daughter and my 20 month old son wear salt water sandals. My daughter has them in yellow, gold and hot pink and my son has them in dark brown. We have worn these for dress up and for play!

I bought these sandals for my first grader daughter. She loves them. Cute, sturdy and comfortable. I bought other Saltwater sandals for my other two girls. They are great too.

These arrived yesterday and my daughter (age 3.25) loved them so much she begged me to let her wear them to bed. First thing she said to me this morning was "thank you for my sandals! I can wear them in the water!"

These are very cute and, so far, very durable sandals. My active 6 year old daughter is loving them. She has worn them several days on the playground and they still look brand new.

These are the classic Salt Water Sandals I grew up wearing, and my daughter loves them too. The sparkle of the gold was enough to make them her go-to fancy shoes for the end of the school year, and she won't take them off her feet even now.

I used to get these sandals for all my kids when they were little, now get them for my grand kids. A great sandal! The leather version I have even thrown in the washing machine.

These shoes are great. Comfortable and very attractive. It was hard to choose the color but silver is modern yet not too mature for my 5 year old. They do run big though (at least 1/2 a size). My daughter is a 12.5 and the size 12 fits fine (with room to grow over the summer). Plus these shoes are a great value for the price!

Very versatile sandal. Can be dressed up or down. My three daughters have worn them for years.

These sandals are a great staple to a girls summer wardrobe. We love these because my daughter's feet are wide and these fit great. Also, they do not blister her feet which many other sandals we've tried do. I love the classic styling and the leather material. We bought these in the tan color last summer and my daughter wore them every day and they still look great (lucky to the little girl we passed them on to!). My daughter wanted shiny fuchsia this time and they are definitely bright, but stylish. Love these sandals. Will purchase these time and again.

I have purchased these for my other daughters and find them to be a good shoe. It has been over five years since I purchased any and I find that they are still well made sandals. Yes, they really do tolerate water (drenching) and still look good. They work for both regular and wide little feet. The leather strap to buckle is a little stiff in the beginning but does get easier to use with wear. Would buy these again next year!

This shoe is darling. They wear well and the color goes with almost everything.

My daughter received compliments every time she puts these on. The yellow color coordinates with almost everything. These shoes can get wet at the pool or beach and be rinsed off in the sink if they get dirty. They are the only shoe that look as good at the end of the summer as they did at the beginning.

Love these for all of my girls. They wear them with everything. Great for spring and summer.

I buy these shoes for my daughter every year, they never go out of style. The shoe does run a little long. She wears a 12 1/2 to 13 but I had to buy a 12.
