Too, Too cute! This sandal is just way too cute and just perfect for the girl that wants comfort and style. It's an eye catcher and I've had lots of compliments when I wear it out. It's very comfortable, but it is a snug fit. There's no play in it which is good for lots of walking. I got the black and white pair and I just love them!

They need to make it in more colors - This is the most comfortable sandal. It looks good and goes with everything. I just can't find it in the fun colors

This is my second pair! It has all the comfort you expect from a Mephisto, plus a tiny feminine touch. Love 'em.

As usual, I was not disappointed by Mephisto! I LOVE these sandals. I have many pairs of Mephisto sandals. Very cute - received lots of compliments. I only gave 4 stars for comfort because my foot was hurting a little for a couple of days after wearing the shoes around the house for an hour or two. When I tried them on the next day it was a little bit better and the third day I was sold! As usual, ZAPPOS is terrific!!!

Mephisto Violette - I bought these shoes in black and red about four years ago and sadly parted with my black ones this spring, after they had been totally thrashed. I got more than my money's worth out of those shoes--they have excellent arch support and needed no break in time. They are also easy to dress up or down--they're the perfect shoes for a Hawaiian vacation. Unfortunately, the red ones stretched out too much shortly after I got them, but the black ones remained true to size. It's disappointing that they come only in black and white now--Mephisto used to make come in more colors, like green and orange, in addition to the red. I'd have ordered more pairs if more colors were available.

Love those Violettes! I have worn the Violette for many years and just keep ordering more from Zappos! I love the look and comfort. I wear a 37 (my US shoe size is 6 1/2). I read all the reviews and wanted to tell anyone that doesn't know that Mephisto's can be sent for refurbishment (strap tightening, new sole and footbed). Call them at 1-866-FIX-Sole for prices and info. They come back better than new. They will send you a free postage paid mailing bag. They really are the world's finest walking shoes!

I have owned the black Mephisto Violette sandals for over a year and they have held up well. I'm not too fond of the Birkenstock style of shoe, but the cute flower draws your attention away from the thick cork sole. I have worn them with jeans, shorts, skirts, and even to a club. I have very bad feet and my podiatrist recommended this brand to me. They are nearly as comfortable as my tennis shoes and orthotics, which is saying a lot. My only complaint is I wish the leather hadn't stretched out so much that it feels like the sandals are going to fall off if I am walking fast. These are great sandals for you if you have bad feet like me.

Mephisto Violette - I have plantar fasciitis, and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! The arch support is fantastic! In fact, I recently ordered another identical pair from Zappos.com.

Love these shoes, but it does take a little time for them to feel comfy. But I own 3 pairs of Mephisto and they’re great once there broken in. Costly but my feet are worth it!!

The best walking shoe. I receive so many compliments on the style. I have them in several colors. Comfort and great looking are a winning combination.

Mephisto's - These shoes took about a week to "break" in. Right where the flower is rubbed a blister across the tops of my feet for about a week. The straps felt really tight for the first week.

I own 4 pairs of Helen sandals and never take them off. I have been dying for the Violette since I first saw them, too cute for words! Needless to say back they go {thank you Zappos}. The place where the flower is glued on hurt and the toe thing is to stiff. The foot bed is the great Mephisto support you always get though. I tried soo hard to make them work; maybe moleskin on the glued part would work. Can't go wrong with the Helens though and of course Zappos is King, or is that Queen?

A great investment. I bought the Violette in apple green. I hesitated spending so much on a green sandal. I just love them. They didn't even need to be broken in. They are my third pair of Mephisto’s and certainly not my last.

Violette - These shoes are going to Europe with me. They are very comfortable and look great with pants and skirts.

Fabulous shoe! This is a wonderful shoe. The fit is true to size, and the quality of the workmanship is superb. Very comfortable with a molded foot bed. I give this a rating of 10 out of 10!

Elegant yet practical "flip flop" These are shoes you can wear all day, and they are very flattering. They will be one of only 3 pairs of shoes that I will be taking to Hawaii. I usually wear a 39 in European sizes, which accommodate an 8 to 8 1/2, but the Mephisto 39 is more like a size 9, so I exchanged it for a 38.I had the 38 at my doorstep immediately after having dropped off the 39 for a return! And the 38 fits perfectly, considering that I am a true 8 1/2. Zappos service is unbeatable. The service personnel are always friendly and accommodating. And I also want to say that I love the enlarged images of the shoes and that you can look at them from all angles, that is a big plus and it really helps the decision process. I think shopping with Zappos also keeps impulse buying at bay, for me anyway, because I spend a lot of time perusing the shoes and reading the reviews which help me to make thought-out choices. Thank you Zappos, Aloooooooooha!!!

Comfortable and cute - Good arch support and comfortable. Having plantar fasciitis, it’s hard to find cute shoes that give good support but these do!

The most comfortable sandal ever! These are so comfortable!!! The footbed is molded to your foot. Have had other Mephisto sandals before, they are worth the price, but these are the best. Also, Zappos service was fabulous! I’m going to get all my shoes from Zappos now!

Cute, comfortable sandals - I love these sandals and have been wearing them all the time! They are Mephisto, so they have the great suede footbed and a fabulous arch support. My feet feel great, even at the end of the day!

Violette - Having worn Mephisto shoe before I knew the product would be well made and comfortable. I wear sandals all summer long and like to have a variety, so I"m always looking for nice ones that I can wear for daytime and evening as well. These fit the bill.

Mephisto Violette - I love, love love this shoes. Extremely comfortable, great support and stylish too. They are so cute! I bought them in black and also white. I really want them in every color. The toe piece is stiff at first, but is leather unlike many other thongs, and breaks in easily.I highly recommend these shoes.

THE most comfortable sandal - These are so comfortable, I bought them in 2 colors. They also look great with any length of shorts or pants.

Feet Feet - Shoe is exactly as other reviews. Top rubs top of foot for a while. Then breaks right in. My only complaint is the inside sole is spotted. I have only had them a few weeks and was careful not to wear them in the rain. Looks like mildew marks !
