Too big. Otherwise adequate. Were I to order them again, I would order at least a half-size lower. I ordered my regular size - wide - and the shoes are really too long for my feet. I compensate by tightening the straps, but I would be much more comfortable with the shoes on my feet if they were not as long, or if the back strap were adjustable. Otherwise, the shoes are fine. I think they are comfortable, but don't find them to be as comfortable as some other "comfort" sandals I own. Still, I have very wide feet and they do accommodate my feet. Just too big!

Comfortable sandals! I have a wide foot, high arch and my feet are not exactly the same size--lots of problems! These sandals allow you to fit to each foot individually with the three straps and buckles. They are very comfortable for walking.

Sunbeat sandals - I've bought this shoe for several years and the sizing seems to have gotten smaller. (I have an old pair in the same size, and they're a little longer, so I know it's not just my feet.) Also, the newer ones seem stiffer and not as soft. The edges rub a little. This may be because I got used to my worn-in older shoes, but I don't remember my original pair being as stiff. A little more padding in the sole would be nice. Overall though, even though I've made mostly negative comments, I like the shoe. With the exception of some Dr. Scholls (which no longer makes my size, apparently) these are the most comfortable sandals I've found.

Great sandal - Very nice sandal. Comfortable right out of the box. Adjustable for comfort on each strap. Looks nice, too!

Clarks Springer Sandal - I bought a pair of these sandals last year and the upper part of the shoe has pulled away from the sole of the shoe. I am not pleased with this shoe. I had a pair that lasted for ten years, so I thought I would try another pair, but found they are not made as good as they used to be.

Old standby - I've had a number of pairs of this style over the years. It is a nice, simple design. It's not particularly good for walking long distances because it doesn't have a lot of support, but it's a well-made shoe that's comfortable for knocking around in, and it comes in a wide range of sizes and some attractive colors that coordinate with a lot of different things.

Clarks Sunburst - I ordered these to replace a pair that had worn out. These do not have the same fit as there is a ridge around the outside of the heel that was not in the previous model. They are not particularly attractive shoe but I have problems with fit and these are fairly comfortable for me.

Sunbeat not so springy - I have worn these sandals for years and finally had to replace my old ones. They look the same, they fit the same, but they sure don't feel the same. When I walk on hard surfaces, there is no cushioning; with my old ones I could feel the cushioning as I walked; these, I feel only hard surface. That is really disappointing because I have done a lot of walking in my old sandals that I will not be able to do in the new ones, because of the harder less cushioned sole. Too bad, I was hoping for better.

Good sandals - I have been wearing Clarks Sunbeat for about 10 years now. They are not quite as comfortable as they once were, but that is probably my feet, more than the shoe. I preferred the color British Tan, it is a shade or two lighter than the present Tan.

My Honest Opinion - I did not have any real major problem with the shoe. This comment is about your return. I believe your company has the best and easiest to follow return policy/directions ever. I had no problem and you also replied that you got the package. Good job.

Clarks Sunbeat The inside of the front straps of this shoe were stiff and not comfortable. After wearing for awhile the area became softer and more comfortable. I was looking mainly for comfort in the foot bed. This is comfortable although I would like something with even more cushion. Overall I do like this shoe.

Not quite the same - I have another pair of Clark's, Sunbeats, which are much older than the pair I just purchased. The quality of the older pair appears superior to the new pair. The color is deep and rich, the leather better quality, and the finished stitching and edges are smoother. So, the comfort in the new pair is good, but that is it.

Clarks Sunbeat review - It feels too large because the back ankle strap cannot be adjusted.

Zappos rating - Zappos offered a great selection and fast service.

A comfortable choice - I like this shoe, although it took some breaking in. At first the leather was sort of tough and the front strap scraped some skin off one of my toes. After a while they broke in and now I wear them everywhere. My friends tell me they look sort of old-ladyish but I think they're cute.

I'm back for another pair of Clarks Sunbeat. I live in these sandals all summer - and I am on my feet a lot! I now have 3 different colors but they are all Clarks Sunbeat.

Great walking shoes! I wore these shoes all over Europe and put many miles on them in two weeks' time. They held up well and were very comfortable the whole time. With the adjustable straps, they fit well even when my feet were swollen at the end of a long day.

I do still like this shoe - This is my third pair of these shoes. I have loved them so really wanted another pair. These felt different though as if they have been "redesigned"- a bit stiffer and rougher on the edges of the straps. I am having to break them in and I never did before.

A nice sandal - This is a nice-looking and comfortable sandal. I got the midnight blue Nubuck--a very pretty soft blue. The only odd thing is that the back strap does not adjust. I found it a little loose, which took a bit of getting used to. I was hoping for more cushioning as well. It's a sandal I will wear often, but probably not when I'm on my feet all day.

Very comfortable. No "breaking-in" period was required. Could use some more arch support, but sole is flexible yet stable. Love the blue color!

My favorite walking shoe - The Sunbeat is my favorite shoe. I choose this style (I have them in every available color) when I am going to be walking and want to arrive with my feet still comfortable, but not looking as if I am out for a workout. A good pedicure and a pair of Sunbeats will take me anywhere.

Comfortable, even at 400 lbs! I once weighed almost 400 lbs and I wore these shoes shopping, which could be a painful experience without these shoes.

Clarks Sunbeat Tan Leather - Typically I take a 7 1/2 W or WW depending on the style of the shoe. I originally ordered the 7 1/2 W but it felt short and the sandal squeaked. It was made in Slovenia. I then ordered an 8 W and it was long enough AND it did not squeak. The 8 was made in Italy. There was a slight variation in color between the two sandals and also the feel of the leather. I'm definitely happier with the style made in Italy both in fit, color and the fact that it didn't squeak. Zappos is Number One in providing outstanding Customer Service.

Clark's Sunbeat - I love these sandals but the last pair have acquired a split across the sole and only after 3 years of wearing. I wonder if these were made somewhere other than England.

Clarks Sunbeat - I love in this sandal and wear it a lot during the summer. I have it in several different colors. The black nubuck is okay but a little heavy for summer. I hope that Clarks will make this style in BLACK LEATHER again instead of or in addition to the nubuck. Clarks, are you listening? My black leather Sunbeats are quickly wearing out...
