Nice Shoe! I had to get nice shoes to wear for a weekend trip to New York City. As luck would have it, that weekend ended up being the Blizzard of 2006! Through everything, shoes were great! They helped me keep my balance after a near fall in Chinatown. Hailing a cab in the blizzard wasn't as bad as it could have been, thanks to these great shoes!

Best shoes EVER for my Plantar Fachiitus! I work on my feet 6 hours a day. I've worn several different types of inner soles, orthodics. A co-worker reccommended this web-site for Dansko shoes. I pulled it up, seeked out this particular shoe. (I've always LOVED "baby-doll" shoes) Since they have an adjustable strap, I have no problems with them slipping at the heel. You know, these shoes are like therapy since I wear them 5 days a week. I usually don't spend anywhere close to this price for shoes,BUT I always will with Dansko!

I purchased these black Dansko Marcelles because I like mary janes and because the new Danko Professional XPs as well as Sanita Professionals are too tight across the top of my foot. So far I like the shoes, although I wish they were a smidge longer and a smidge narrower around the heel. I haven't yet tried walking more than a mile in them, so the rating is provisional.

These shoes are cute looking and very comfortable. Unfortunately for me the 2nd time I wore them, I was coming down some stairs at my job and the strap completely tore in half and I had to stumble around the rest of the day with a broken shoe. I tried to report and review this shoe but the site refused to let me until today. I cannot wear it because the leather literally tore in half on the strap! I attached the photo I took at work just after it happened.

Very good for plantar fasciitis and other foot problems I’ve had, lasts forever and looks cute!

This is my third pair of Dansko shoes. I love the fit, the leather and they just look great.

Dansko are my go to shoe for working as a teacher. I love this style because it is dressier and more air flow than in some of the clogs. I wear them all the time.

These are very cute and well made! I feel they are half a size too small as I'm a half size and these fit me just right. Comfortable!

I continue to buy this style over and over -- a classic! I just wish you could replace the heels because that's what wears out WAY before the upper.

This is my second pair of Marcelles from Dansko. The first were among my all time favorite shoes. In fact, I think I finally retired them after wearing them for close to 10 years! ....no exaggeration. If you like Dansko shoes, are looking for an all around shoe for a minimalist wardrobe and know your size, these are an absolute no brainer. I live in the mid-atlantic where we get all four seasons and I wear these in all four seasons, with the exception of super wet slushy, snowy days. And, they go with everything; skirts, dresses, jeans, dress pants. Dress them up or down, be comfortable all day and get compliments. Worth every penny. Do not hesitate.

Love these shoes - a dansko classic!

I still miss my old classic dansko Mary Janes without the weird seems on the top, but these will do. They’re comfortable and my feet feel like they’re floating on clouds all day at work. I wear with skirts, dresses, and pants. Definitely the best shoe investment ever! This is my fourth pair (each one lasts me about three years before getting too smelly and scuffed, but that’s with daily wear!). Thanks, Dansko!

I've been looking for this shoe ever since I saw it on a QVC host YEARS ago. I'm trying to combat hereditary foot problems and these seem to be just the ticket without looking like chef or nurses shoes, and dressy enough for the office. I wear a 40 in EU sizing so that's what I stuck with and I found that to be true. They felt too big at first but if you pay attention to how clogs are supposed to fit they are perfect! Toes shouldn't touch and you can stick a pinky in the heel!

It fits perfectly. I've waited for months for my size to become available and it was worth the wait.

Bought these shoes for a conference and they were great! The first time I wore them I walked all over the place on pavement and carpet and they were very comfortable and looked great! Would highly recommend.

I eyeballed these for a while before I purchased - I've had other Danskos and while I love the brand I wasn't sure about this style. I'm glad I finally gave in because I love them. They're dressy enough that I can wear them with skirts to my (office casual) workplace, funky enough to appeal to my style, but comfy enough that I can wear them whenever I feel like it. I developed plantar fasciitis last year so good support is a must, and these definitely fit the bill while also being cute. Today's the first day I wore them out of the house, and it's been all day with no socks and they are still comfy.

These are amazing! I have been wearing Dansko's precursor to these- a plainer black leather mary jane style with the thick clog soles that I first purchased about 10 years ago. I bought that same style two more times, including way after they discontinued it I tracked it down on Amazon. I was so sad when they discontinued them and thought the Marcelle could never live up to them. I didn't think the stitching on the toe box was very attractive and I was just convinced they wouldn't be as comfortable. But when my last beloved original pair died I needed a replacement and nothing else was working. I finally gave in and ordered these Marcelles...and I love them! They have the comfort of the original professional clogs, but with a little more style. I wear these things in my conservative financial office with dress pants or skirts and they work. I'm not going to win any style awards, but the fact that i can get through a day without my feet hurting makes my heart fill with happiness. Worth every penny!

What’s NOT to love about these shoes? The day after they arrived, I donned a dress, tights, and a cardigan, pulled the shoes from their box, and proceeded to wear them through a 12 hour day of teaching, meeting, and family-handling. From the first moment to the last, they felt great! Danskos are the best. Period.

There is a learning curve if you are new to Dansko. They are stiff at first. I love them. I am on my feet all day on hard floors.

I did love these shoes but they were a bit to heavy for me I have bad knees

I've had my pair of Marcelles for 10 years now. The only reason I'm considering another pair is because I wouldn't mind a new pattern or color and my shoe size is a bit larger. It is the pair of shoes that I always go back to. They are perfect for a casual workplace. Anytime they start looking a little rough, I sponge them off with some clear shoe polish and they look good as new. They are definitely worth their price since they've lasted so long.
