Great Clogs- if 1/2 size - order one up - Clogs have their own feel and comfort. You have to get used to them - and they are a dream to wear. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe - so I ordered the 38 - and they are perfect. Since I normally live in running shoes - I am very picky about what shoes I wear for going out,etc. - The Dansko clogs are very comfortable - but you have to get used to the feel of closed back clogs. Once you do - you'll be comfy.

Size does NOT matter.... Wow, sizing for these shoes is so confusing. I had to order 5 pair in 3 different sizes before I found one that fit me. I am normally an 8-8.5 but I have wide feet, I tried a 38, 39 and 40 in this shoe and the second pair of size 39 fit me. The fact that they are handmade apparently translates into "no size consistency". However, everyone I know raves about these so I persisted as someone with "problematic" feet. I am a hair stylist, who travels a lot and I have a 2 year old so I need comfort. If it wasn't for Zappos' awesome shipping and return policy I would've give up.

Great Arch Support - I love the fact that I didn't need to break in these shoes. The only issue I have is the shoe is actually wider than my foot but since most shoes are too narrow for my foot, I can live with it. The shoe has great arch support and my feet feel pretty good. I also have the Mary Jane version of this shoe and I love them.

Great "on your feet" shoe - Originally owned a pair of backless and needed a new work shoe. Went with the backs and am quite happy with the look and comfort. Typically wear 8.5, so went with a 39. Perfect with thin socks; my heels really don't slip out. Scuffs are pretty noticeable on the cordovan, but I like the option of wearing with black or brown.

Too small! I ordered the size recommended for my regular shoe size (11) and they are WAY too small, even without socks. Would recommend going up an extra size for sure.

Nursing shoe - Very well made clog, however the plastic insert at the heel rubbed on my foot and had to return them.

Great for Snow/Rain Days - I bought these Dansko's at the outlet store in Gilbertsville PA, I think, six years ago. The folks there said I should buy them big, that my toe shouldn't touch the top inside and my heel should slide in and out as I walk. Needless to say, it's a big shoe and the clunkiness takes some getting used to, but they are supposed to be worn with thick socks. I recommend these shoes, especially during inclement weather. You never have to worry about water seeping in, though the leather may stain light-colored socks. If I were short I'd love them. They elevate without feeling like platforms.

A bit too shiny - I bought these in black hoping they would be good commuter shoes, so I chose the shinier cabrio finish (as opposed to the oiled) thinking it would be a bit dressier to wear with work clothes. It's not quite patent leather, but it is a bit too shiny in my mind, and it draws too much attention to them. I haven't decided whether I will be returning them for a different finish. They are amazingly comfortable though. If you can handle the style, they are worth it.

Want to adore them, but I only love them - I have been seeking these out for years. I usually wear a woman's 11(ish). I bought a pair in college - a 41 - because I loved them and that was the only large size the store carried in that small college town. I LOVED these shoes, and though they really are too small, I have worn them off and on for years. I wanted a pair that really fit, and after trying them on in various sizes in a store in Brooklyn, I decided to order a 43 from Zappos. Well, Zappos impressed me OF COURSE, with the speed of delivery (less than 2 days!!!!). The shoes? Well, they are big. What else can I say? I think that the 42 would have been maybe a little too small. I think I'll be able to wear these with big socks in the fall and winter, but they will probably look silly (and be sort of dangerous) with tights or thin socks. So I don't know if I should return them, or just get used to big shoes. Are big shoes better than small shoes that potentially shmush your toes? Thanks Zappos.

Wooden shoes! I don't know why people like these shoes so much. Looks good, but this is too expensive because of the real leather. Also, these shoes are not really flexible when I walk, so I feel like I am wearing wooden shoes.

Sizing - The size (37) seems to run much bigger than other similar shoes I have.

Satisfied - I am very pleased with my shoes. The only thing I wish were different is that they were made in half sizes. I normally wear 8.5-9 shoes, so I tried the 39 in these but they weren't as loose fitting as I would have liked so I ended up buying size 40, which is slightly too big, but still comfortable.

I LOVE these shoes! My feet have been hurting me for more than 3 years. I would buy a pair of shoes and they would feel good on my feet the first two or three wears and then my feet would hurt again. I've spent almost $1,000 the past year alone trying to find a shoe that was comfortable. FINALLY, I bought these Danskos and they fit the bill. Out of the 19 days that I've owned these shoes, I have worn them 18 days. I even bought a second pair in another color!

Great shoe but a little pricey - The shoe was everything I expected. Comfortable, after broken in (took approximately two days), professional & casual looking at the same time.

I am a health professional whose work requires standing for hours. Danskos have saved my legs and feet from constant aching. They are a great orthopedic shoe if you are required to stand for long periods of time.

Great looking but bigger than the average Dansko clog - I love the look of the shoe but it is far roomier than the professional- I should have ordered a smaller size.

Clogs for a wide-ish foot- Very comfortable and fit well, but I bought a size larger than my normal/indicated size. I tried on the same model in a standard shoe store and found it too short. Nice arch support; very solid shoe. I also like the "semi-gloss" look; it's a variation from the more common flat finish leather.

Great shoe! These shoes are worth the price. Great fit and so comfortable! Great for cold weather. I normally wear a size 8-8.5, but am always a 39 in European sizing. This shoe was no different - 39 fit perfectly! Love it! And Zappos is wonderful as always - received shoes within 2 days. Can't beat Zappos!!

Fab shoe! This is my second pair of Dansko Cabrio shoes. I bought the first pair in 1997 and they still look and feel great. Like the dressy-ness of this pair for work.

Great shoes... only drawback is falling out of them! I've had this shoe for about 2 years now and they still look great and I wear them almost every single day (in the summer I wear the Dansko Lauren sandal... LOVE THEM). They are very comfortable and I can walk for long hours in them with little discomfort. I wear a 7.5 to 8 and I bought the 39 and they fit fine. The 38 seemed to hit my arch funny. My only complaint with this shoe is that I often will fall out or slide out of the shoe and twist my ankle. I've actually fallen on the ground several times! I've never been seriously injured, but it's embarrassing. I think part of the problem is that you have to wear these shoes larger than normal so you're sliding a little and also the wedge heel is angled and I'm walk on the outside of my heels. I've never had this problem with my Dansko Lauren sandals and they have the rocker bottom foot bed. I'm going to buy a pair of Megan’s or Mikala's in a 38 since they have the rocker bottom. Despite this major downfall, I continue to wear my Danskos every single day because they truly are comfortable so I guess that's a true testament to this shoe.

Great work shoe! Very comfy shoe for many hours on your feet. I am a women’s size 11 and had to order a size 43!! It took a couple days to break them in; they rubbed the tops of my feet, but now feel great! The look is very clunky, but great for work.

Great Work Clogs! I just received my clogs and I have them on as we speak. I am a teacher and I spend 90% of my time on my feet. So far the feel is great, and instantly putting it on, my posture improved. I gave it a 4 only b/c one of the shoes came scratched.

Sizing is tricky... I happened to go to a store to try on Dansko shoes for sizing. I wear 8.5 US women and a 40 in Dansko! The sizing conversions on the site are confusing and a bit misleading. I was lucky enough to buy the right size. OTHERWISE, these shoes are great. I wear them whenever I can. I think I will buy a pair of dressier Dansko's for work.

light and comfortable, versatile - First of all, the shoes I ordered were the just the normal "black box" professional cloogs. I think they are great and light and can go with just about anything. The only thing is that the in-sole takes some "breaking in" while it molds to your foot. My left foot still presses against the top of the shoe after about 6 wears, so I might take the insole out and try a thinner on. The arch of my left foot must be higher than that of my right foot. Other than that, this is a great shoe.

Love the Look - I loved the look. It's taking me quite a bit of time to get use to these shoes, granted that I've only have had then for about 2 weeks now. If you are clumsy like I am, please be very careful walking in these shoes because I thisted my foot and ankle(Remember it has a 2 inch heel) I'm still a little sore. I was impressed in the way the shoe fitted me, the were almost perfect. Just FYI I do recommend ordering one size bigger. This shoe looks professional and clean all the time. I've had many compliments.
