Wonderful standing shoes - I can be on these shoes for a 10+ hour work day and my feet don't hurt by the end of the day. Not as comfortable for walking long distances (tops of toes tend to rub tops of shoes in both pairs I've had) but as with all shoes, socks are everything.

Comfy, necessary - These are heavy shoes that I have to have as a third year med student. I followed the other recommendations I saw on the site and my shoes fit fine. I normally wear an 8.5-9 so that's what I got.

Sized small, but so comfy! I'm usually on my feet operating all day, and my soles and arches and back have been much less sore since getting these shoes. I ordered them big, and I wish I'd ordered even bigger because they're sized really small, but even with cramped toes, I still love how they feel!

Dansko Professional Cabrio - I stand on my feet all day, I was recommended these shoes. For the first 2 days they were very uncomfortable, but as I began to stretch them out, they were starting mold to my feet. I was having serious lower back pain and pain in my legs and feet due to my overweight, but now for some reason without dieting, I have lost some weight. For those that are overweight and stand on your feet all day, I would recommend these shoes, just make sure you order a size larger than you wear.

Uncertain - I had to order a size larger than normal and am still having some problems with the side of the shoe rubbing against the side of my foot. I am hoping the leather will stretch a bit to make them less irritating. They look nice and are otherwise very comfortable.

Tight on the top of my foot - I love everything about these shoes except how they are a little tight on the top of my foot. I've never had a shoe fit like this but right on the top of my foot, the shoe is tight and hurts my foot by the end of the day. I'm trying to break them in because I know that they are leather and they will give a little. Overall, though, they are a great pair of shoes. My back doesn't hurt nearly as bad as when I wear tennis shoes or (ugh) Crocs to work so I'm grateful for them. I work in a hospital and I walk a lot during the day so these shoes have been good to me. Except for that small sore spot on the top of my foot that I have to rub a few times during the day...

Make sure you get the correct size- too large is dangerous - I ordered the European equivalent of my size but in this brand and style it runs a little large. Half or whole size smaller than American size should be ordered. Too large clogs could easily lead to twisted ankles, falls (as my shoes did!). But the correct size feels great.

Comfortable - I bought these because I am pregnant and have slightly swollen feet. I've worn them for 4 days now and they are very comfortable. I'm regularly a size 6 and I ordered a size 36 and they fit fine for me, even with my slightly swollen feet.

Felt true to size - except a little large in right foot! Had to get heel gel insert at ankle.

Everything I expected - I have really narrow feet so and these are great for that. They don’t slide off like other shoes I have. They also have awesome arch support- I can wear them ALL day without feeling like I need to sit down.

Sizing is tricky - I really love these shoes. However, I took 3 separate orders to get the right size. I ordered my usual size (39), which were too small, ordered 40s, STILL too small, ordered 41s (which I’ve never worn in my life) which fit. I’d recommend trying these shoes on at a regular shoe store to make sure you get the right size...

A tough fit, but a great shoe. It was really tough to find a good fit in this shoe, but once I did my feet were very happy. I usually wear an 8.5, and originally ordered a half-size up (39). The 39's were way too tight and extremely uncomfortable. I ended up in a size 40, which I thought would be huge, but actually fit perfectly. In the right size, these shoes have great arch support and are super-comfy. They seem really well made, so I expect them to hold up over time. The cabrio color I ordered is gorgeous - it's a dark red-brown color and matches well with brown, black, or grey slacks. Overall, a great shoe once you get the fit right.

Love my new Danskos - My new clogs are super comfy and easy to wear. They felt a little snug at first, even though I'm sure they are the correct size, but I've been wearing them for a week and they fit perfectly now.

Great, but not true to size - I'm always a size 8, so I ordered the size that compares to an American size 8 but they were way too small. The equivalent to 9 fits perfect though.

Good shoes - Good shoes -- the sizing was about right, and they are very comfortable. The one issue I have is that I think one is tighter than the other -- can hurt the top of my foot when working too long.

Excellent restaurant shoe - I wear a size 9 and needed a size 41 in this shoe. I used to have very high arches, but not anymore. The shoes I have been wearing for the last year offered no support and I began to have back and foot problems. It took a good 3-4 weeks for my feet to get used to the arch support. Believe me, during this time my feet were killing me! I didn't think these shoes were going to work. I love them now and would highly recommend them to those in the restaurant industry. I have not slipped once on wet or oily floors. I read in a few reviews about ankles rolling in these shoes, and mine do about once every few days. I hope this will pass as I get used to wearing them. They are worth the money. I work 7-12 hour days, all of it on my feet, and these shoes go the distance!

Very comfortable, Cabrio is dressier than other leathers - I ordered this shoe because I had heard great things about them. I stand on my feet 8-10 hours at a time. These shoes were the first ones that I have tried which eliminated my foot pain during my shifts. Although this shoe is not very stylish, it is the best leather choice for a dressier look. The Cabrio is made of a shiny leather that looks nice enough to wear with dress pants in a professional environment. Highly recommend these shoes.

THE shoe - I started wearing these 3 years ago. I love them. Not all Dansko shoes fit me as well as these do, but I would not be able to function without them.

Runs smaller than other Dansko Professionals - I have had the Dansko Professional in brown oiled leather for nearly 6 months now and LOVE them. I bought them in a size 40 because the website advised to size up. They fit perfectly and really saved my back during long 12 hour shifts at the hospital. When I bought the Cabrio, I expected the same fit so I bought a 40. I can barely wear them because they are so tight. They are exactly the same size, width, and even shape (I've compared them). I figured they needed broken in, but after a 12 hour shift they felt no better than when I bought them. My back did not hurt and the soles of my feet were fine, indicating that is a great shoe overall. However because the leather part of the shoe is so much tighter and narrower from my brown oiled Dansko’s, the outer edges of my feet are pretty sore today. I would advise to size up an extra size more than the website advises for these shoes.

Cabrio review - Great shoe for work, I have to be on my feet a lot giving tours but still need to look professional. These work ok for that and clients compliment me on them. Too casual for some work places and I would not go any more casual. These are functional and attractive and comfortable. Thumbs up. And great Zappos service.

Over the last 10 years, have purchased 4 pairs of the Professional all in the same size size 36 (I usually wear a 6.5), and for some reason, this particular pair is the least comfortable and will require some breaking in. Left shoe, which is my slightly smaller foot, is tighter than the right and pinches. That's why I've marked it as feeling a half size smaller than marked - but this is only on the left shoe, so it's strange. In hindsight, wish I would have returned them earlier for a different pair of the same shoe. Love this Cabrio color, deep reddish- brown/black -- looks good with jeans.

Comfort with time - The Cabrio skin is more professional/classy looking than the oiled or regular skins. I had to try on a narrow, a larger sized narrow, and then a smaller and larger regular width to finally choose the regular width. The narrow was just slightly uncomfortable around the top and the regular seemed too large. I'd rather it fit perfectly but larger was better than tighter. My first day around, the bottom of my toes, especially the pinky, hurt and the top, too, know that I think about it. After a couple more days of wear though, those hotspots went away. Now, they're one of my favorite shoes. I can wear them nice with jeans or dress pants. I do wish the inside was a bit softer like cushion of some sort, and that the leathers don't stick out on the inside, but you come to ignore that.

Good support, but leather is a little stiff - This is my 3rd pair of Danskos, so I knew that I was getting a super comfortable and supportive shoe. The only negative thing about this shoe is that the leather is a little stiff, so instead of being great out of the box, they required a little wearing to get them to "shape" to my foot a little bit. I am on my feet all day (I am a doctor) and my days are usually long. While this shoe may not be as dressy as a shoe with a heel, the shiny leather and comfort make it a great pairing for a business casual look with pants or just a casual look with jeans. I also tried the Dansko Professional Black box, which was minimally different in appearance from the Cabrio. The Black Box leather is softer, was comfortable out of the box, and had the same Dansko support. The only reason I chose the Cabrio was b/c it was a little dressier.

Love them - I have seen these around a lot so thought I'd give them a try...they are great...fit good -love the comfort. Nice shoe for casual wear...glad I tried them...

My review of Dansko's Professional Cabrio - I’ve been buying this shoe for years. It seems that in the past 2 years the shoe has become wider & a half size larger, thus less comfortable for me. The same shoe that I purchased 3 years ago still fits me better. The great thing about these shoes is they never wear out and are very comfortable and work well as walking shoes.
