I've been wearing a version of this Dansko clog for decades and the style remains consistent. Solid and reliable. I wear them as slippers around the house primarily. Happily predictable quality.

I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear. The shoes were very comfortable--more supportive than most clogs I've worn--so I decided to keep them. When I walked outside, however, especially if I was in a hurry, I had a hard time keeping the shoes on my feet. I wish I had ordered a full size smaller. They are also heavier than any other clog I've owned.

Very pretty shoes. I am an administrator at a Middle school and I am on my feet 10 hours a day. The footbed is a little hard for me, but not so much that I will return. Also, the top of the shoe digs a little into the top of my foot. Again, not too much too return. I have worn Klogs shoes for many years and they are amazing, so I am comparing the footbed and top of shoe to how the Klogs fit.

If you are looking for a basic shoe with simple character, this is it. It is a little too simple and uniform in appearance for my liking so I'm returning them. However, regarding fit: I am typically a size 7.5-8 W and these fit well. Although, maybe not as wide a foot bed as I'd prefer, but certainly doable and likely comfortable long-term. They appear high quality, made in Italy.

I love my Dansko clogs. I purchased them about five years ago, have worn them a lot and they still look like new. However, they squeak on any surface. They did not when I purchased them but they do now and have for a few years. Is there anything that can be done about this? It is very annoying.

My sister in law has these shoes, and they fit and looked great on me. But the pair I got did not fit the same. The left shoe was wider and as I walk in them, the left one just shoots off my foot. It they don't fit snugly on your foot, it is hard to walk and keep them on. I am sending mine back...but since I really want a pair that works, I am going to get an exchange. Hopefully the new pair will fit better.

I look Danskos, but what is the deal with the distressed look? It is too artificial. I will wear them anyway, but I an discouraged from the first pair that I bought many years ago.

These shoes took forever to break in! I should have returned them after a week - for months I would wear them, only to put them aside after an hour or so. They hurt the top of my foot just to wear for a bit. I did everything I could think of to loosen them up, because I really wanted a pair of clogs, and everyone swears by Dansko. Now that they have finally broken in - took 6 months - I have come to the conclusion that I should have returned them and gotten a bigger size! They are just too small. Maybe that's why they hurt for so long! I ordered my regular size - 42 - but I should have gotten a 43 or larger. I am marking them down because they don't fit "as marked", but they are very sturdy and nice looking.

I love Dansko shoes - have worn them for years - I work in a hospital. However, these are tight across the top of my foot, even though I bought them according to your charts. Not real happy with these.

Very comfortable right away, and I like that the platform sole and heel work so well with jeans. I think in regard to size they run a little short, but with the open back, that is not really an issue. I can walk forever and be comfortable in these shoes.

Last year I bought a pair of professional style Dansko clogs and decided to try the Sonja version. So many people rave about these shoes and while I like the look of them and they are fairly comfortable, I honestly cannot imagine wearing them for a day of walking around. I am in-between sizes for the closed-back version of these shoes so have to buy the open back versions.

I\'m a true Dansko Clog lover. I\'v purchased a number of styles. All have been great for me.It seems as though over the years the sizing might have changed. I wear 8-9. This time I got 9-10 and they fitted perfectly.Found them to be alittle snug with thich socks across the top.

Dansko clogs are great, but they've changed their sizing. I've been wearing Dansko size 36 for years, but now I'm down to a 35, only in this brand! Still, they are the most comfortable shoes in the world.

I still do not know if I love these shoes as most people are rating them. They gave me blisters on the front of my foot the first time that I used them. I do not know if the socks that I used were inadequate. I like their style.

Really love the look of these clogs. Don't be fooled - you do have to break the shoes in. These are not first-timer ready. Do not recommend wearing on a vacation or a day of walking - bring other shoes if you do!

I've worn Dansko clogs for years and swear by them. I was able to wear this pair for a 12 hour shift on the first day without any difficulty. The only complaint I have is that the soles squeak with every step (even a few weeks later). I've never had this happen before and am actually thinking of returning them because it is so annoying. Hopefully I just got a bum pair, as I'd order this model again.

Did Dansko change its arch again?! I’ve been wearing Dansko stapled clogs since back when it was Sanita. When the companies split ways, I liked the changes Dansko made to the stapled clog - it felt much more stable. This is my first try with the Sonja, and it feels very different than the Professional I bought in late 2008 or the Margrete I bought in 2009. It should feel the same, I’d think, since it uses the same stapled clog base. The arch is not as high... it just doesn’t feel quite right, and when I place the shoes next to the other pairs, the arches are clearly visibly lower. This is still better support than most shoes - but this is not amazing support I was used to. I noticed another reviewer who has worn Sonja before made the same observation. Time will tell if this serves me as well as the old soles, but I am worried.

I am an active professional woman and on my feet or up/down all day. I have worn the Sonja for years. Looked great, my feet could slip in and out of the shoe so my toes could breathe and move. Can toes be claustrophobic?! The new design is very stable (the old "tipped" at the heel so you had to be conscious of placing your foot squarely.) However, more stability means looking a bit more clunky. In fact, I am looking for a new favorite shoe because it is a titch too clunky for me. If you don't care about the look and need comfort above all else; this is the shoe for you.

I almost bought these shoes in a local shoe store but I'm glad I looked on Zappos. I got them on sale and Zappos expedited the shipping free of charge! I love the shoes. These are very comfortable. I wear them all the time. They're great everyday casual shoes.

With a stress fracture and plantar fasciitis, my foot doctor recommended Dansko shoes. I initially objected, because I think they're unattractive. With the pain overruled, they look good. I now must admit, they're wonderful. They are so comfortable, and I wear them all day. I can be on my feet all day, with no pain. Since getting these, I have run into other Dansko fans. I highly recommend these.

I love Danskos. This is my 3rd pair. My feet and back do not hurt at the end of the day when I wear these. However, this last pair does not seem to be the same as my previous pairs. The leather on the insoles seems to be of a poorer quality. The arch seems to be a little lower too. Still, they are the most comfortable shoes for me.

The best clogs, but a bit wide - I've always loved these clogs -- my 3rd pair -- but they really are too wide. I'm between N and M with most shoes, so I expected these to be a little wide, but in order to keep these on my feet I have to wear two pair of rather thick socks. They seem wider than M. That said, I had ordered 8 pair of clog candidates, and kept coming back to these. They last forever, are a classic look and are my morning staple for walking our dog.

They’re Working - I bought these shoes because the ones I really wanted were out of stock (Berkies for work). I have always heard this shoes is really great for work, I am a cook so I tried them. At first they killed my feet, but I have worn them for about three weeks and they are great. It just took some time to get used to them.

Good clogs - Zappos service is of course top of the line, and I would recommend them to anyone. I have been a Dansko fan for years, and have three pairs of their closed back clogs (Dansko Professional). However, these open back clogs feel a bit more like your foot is falling forward into the toe, although the arch support is very good. I don't feel that way with the closed back clog, as they seem to be flatter. These Dansko Sonja's are still very well made and great clogs for slipping on and off quickly though, but I would not wear them all day as I do the closed back clogs.

Nice shoe - I was hoping this shoe would be a little more comfortable (due to my high arches) but over all it’s a great shoe. They have a nice heel so they can be dressed up or down. I would recommend these shoes.
