Mark Levy - This is a great shoe-I have a very difficult shoe size (6.5 2E) to find. Zappos always is able to offer me something. I was traveling and Zappos was able to send the order to me in Dallas (not my home).

More cushy than most NB shoes! This shoe is very comfortable and has plenty of room for an orthotic. I wish all of my shoes felt this good.

Good shoes - Good shoes, light and comfortable. I have diabetes and my feet swell. These shoes are a grat fit...they go a bit higher on top than others that I purchased. Plus the 4E deal is ideal. Moreover Zappos kicks butt cause they get them sent to ya' FAST! Just like they said they would do; every time I place an order it come in time.

New Balance & Zappos - a winning combination - I have developed a habit of purchasing my New Balance running shoes from Zappos. The shoes are always the perfect fit for my sometimes hard to fit feet (11.2 AA. The shoes arrive in just a few days with no postage hassle, and the price is always better than I have found elsewhere.

Awesome - These shoes are rad. New Balance rules. They are a little taller (they come up higher on your foot/ankle) than most shoes, but that is for the support. They are the best motion control shoes. If you have flat feet, these are great for you.

Perfect for flat feet and ME! Bottom line: If you wear orthodics and have the type of foot that can handle less cushioning and higher toe box - go with these. All others: Go with Brooks. I went through an abundance of shoes before I settled on this one. Ultimately it came down to the NB 925, Brooks Beast and Brooks Synergy. Brooks has a tremendous out of box fit. If you are looking to buy the ultimate in shoes, Brooks is great. I feel New Balance is better for those that are more particular. I have wide flat feet and wear 9.5 2E in New Balance. I also like to customize my shoes with Green Superfeet. Insole replacement is not so great with Brooks as their insoles are a significant feature to the shoe. By that I mean you will notice a change in feeling (volume, cushioning) when the original insole is replaced. My immediate reaction with the 925s and the 587s was to say that they aren't cushioned enough. After a few more wearings, these shoes seemed better constructed and supportive.

Probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased - These shoes are excellent. They have terrific arch support, motion control and cushioning. The shoes are wide, so even a narrow width (B) feels like a normal width (D). The toebox is also very wide. If you want a shoe with maximal cushioning and support, this is a great shoe. Zappos is also great as they shipped the shoe overnight with no charge at all. They also price matched this shoe with another retailer and gave me an additional discount. If they advertise it, they do it!

As close to perfect as you'll find (in a shoe) I've found the shoe I can wear for the rest of my life. This is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. It's design is sturdy (great support for running, great durability and cushion for long walks). I've brought these shoes with me to several parts of this country and other countries for hikes through big cities and up mountains -- and they never leave me with sore feet at the end of the day. The style is sharp (icing on the cake) and even when they get a little dirty, it's hard to tell. Honestly, this is as close to perfect as I've found in a shoe ... I just hope NB keeps making it for many years to come (or else I'll just start stocking up).

Great Shoe - Great shoe any many ways. Best arch support you can find. Also durable and practical. BOTTOM LINE: I wore this shoe into the ground and it lasted several years with frequent use (running, walking, casual wear). Their 10X better than its relative, the M1122, which deteriated much quicker at the tread and heel break point of the shoe.

New Balance's M 587 - I ordered these shoes for my husband, he loves them. The shoes look great, are really comfortable and best of all cruelty free! We were suprised to receive them within 24 hours of ordering.

Blast From The Past (re-write, use this) Perfect example of, “when you’ve got it right, don’t mess with it”. Totally retro design, with technical upgrades such as anti pronation roll bar. I pronate moderately on one side, and am conscious of the corrective force on the inside of my heel, but the sensation disappears after a relatively short distance. Overall structural support of this shoe is superb, and provides great comfort with minimal fatigue. Absorb heel has maximum impact protection, maybe could use a little more up front. My heels tend to shift around in other shoes, but stay fixed snugly in place in the M 587. D-widths can often be a little tight for me, and 2E’s too loose. The D in this shoe is closer to a 2E, and I wish I could duplicate this fit in all my shoes - it’s perfect! I usually prefer leather, but the all-synthetic upper in this particular shoe is high quality, very well crafted, and just plain classy. I like the retro design. It’s all about how you wear it! All made in the USA! Zappos service ROCKS - period!

Excellent shoe - Mine says, "Made in the USA", and that makes me feel good. Besides that, this shoe feels somewhat wide compared to other New Balance models. The cushioning is amazing, it feels as though you are walking on clouds. My only gripe about this top performer shoe is the fact that it is very well ventilated at the toebox that it can only be used in warm weather, otherwise your toes will freeze off. It looks a bit clunky and awkward but feels so comfortable that it is tolerable.

I tend to need wider width shoes to be comfortable; this shoes normal width (D) is wider than most other EE widths! Very nice.

New Balance Shoes are awesome! I like New Balance shoes because of the widths offered and their comfortable, particularly this model (M 587 NV).

ew Balance - As always, I am extremely happy with my recent purchase of New Balance shoes. Although these are not the most beautiful looking shoes (you will quickly come to like the way they look, though, because they're such good shoes), I am always happy with how functional NB's are. I recently began exercising regularly, doing a lot of walking and aerobic workouts. So these shoes are really an essential part of my fitness plan. Before buying them, I did my research because I am currently very overweight and need a shoe that will properly support me while working out. Well, these shoes have worked out perfectly and I don't feel all the pressure on my legs and feet as I did before. Though we didn't have much money, my parents always bought NB's for me when I was a child, and now that I am a college student, I know from my own experience that NB's are more durable and functional than any other brand of gym shoe. Whenever I see the words "NEW BALANCE," I know that the shoes are reasonably priced, top quality, and long-lasting. So if you want good shoes that do EXACTLY what gym shoes are supposed to do--and without all the ridiculous flash and flair of the top-selling shoes that only sell because of their names, logos, or because a popular athlete wears them--then NB's are the shoes for you. I also appreciate that my shoes were made in America because it helps ensure that some poor person overseas was not exploited to produce my shoe. I hope that NB expands even more and always makes sure that no person is ever exploited to produce their products. I was also very pleased with the timely service from Zappos.

Lovin' it and runnnin' with it - These shoes are the best running shoes that I have ever had. Its looks might not be too eye catching to some but if you're into the retro look and need a functional pair of running shoe these are the ones for you. Thanks Zappos for the great deal and free shipping.

Overweight & walks on cement floors at work. Great shoe! I wrote Zappos and they recommended this shoe. I walk (or try to)3-5 days a week about 1-3 miles a day. I also work at a high school and walk 6-8 hrs. on cement floors. With this shoe the pain in my FLAT feet and the plantar fasciitis in my right heel STOPPED. I highly recommend these shoew. I am going to buy after pair!!! Or three.

Need Motion Control? This is it! These shoes are not pretty. They are not cushy and that is by design. These shoes are for those like me that need motion control to avoid shin splints, knee or back pain...and they work! Wonderful shoes. I am on my fourth pair of New Balance designed for motion control. I bought a 10.5 D even though I wear 11 in most other shoes. I use shoe inserts in these running shoes. I run about 10 miles per week. Walk in these a few times first to break in...they actually will feel a little less stiff after a few weeks. But the wonderful support is evident throughout the life of these shoes and will allow you to jog versus giving up while wearing shoes with less support. P.S. While they look fairly plain, they also don't look dirty very fast because of the colors.

Great Shoe - I received my shoe not long after I ordered them. I enjoy the shoe very much and I think this is one of the best shoes I have evered owned. This is a must try shoe. Zappos was great and on time. I will continue to do business with them for a long time.

The Best running shoe made for big runners - This is the only running that I ever had which feels like I'm walking on air. I have had Adidas running shoes and Nike running shoes and they do not compare to these New Balance.

If I could only own one shoe... This is the one. I injured my foot at the upper inseam and have Bursitis in my heel. These shoes are AWSOME and my feet are thanking me. I have them in the 2E which gives me plenty of room to avoid pressure on the top of my foot. My only negative is the appearance. I'm only 38 not quite ready for a walker. I've just ordered a pair of Brooks Addiction 6, for style.(I'd like some variety) I'm hoping they will feel as great as the NB 587. I'll have two great shoes, as I will continue to buy the 587s.

The Best! This is the best sneaker for anybody! You can even wear these without socks, comfortably and don't have to worry about getting your feet sore. These are actually rinning sneaks, but you can use them for a long walk. When I first put these on. These were the most comfortable sneakers I ever worn!

Great Product, Great Company - Great looking/feeling shoe... good for a heavier person with flat feet. Zappos' shipping was great and I recievd the shoes faster than expected!
