The ultimate snow boot - Very comfortable boot. Stylish too, in it's own way. Definitely feels at least one-half size larger than marked. I can occassionally wear a size 9, and the 8 fit me perfectly. As always, Zappos' service is superb.

only boot you'll ever need for winter - This is a no nonsense boot that will take you anywhere you need to go in the winter! They are comfortable and fit true to size. What better feeling that to know you can go anywhere in the winter and your feet will stay warm and dry!

The Best Boot - I have been wearing Sorel's for 25 years. They are the best boot for harsh Colorado winters. They are comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry. I wore them as a lift operator and a snow maker at a ski area above 9000 feet. I am thrilled to get a new pair, which is unusual, because they last a long time. Zappos is the best; free shipping and FAST service!!!!

Warm little piggies! I am always an 8.5, so I ordered Caribou in an 8 and it fits perfect with any size sock! Zappos had the boots at my door in less than 24 hours... best service ever!

Great Boot! As an elementary school teacher, I need a boot that will keep my feet warm during those cold winter recesses. This boot may not look as stylish as others, but it will definitely provide the warmth and protection I'm looking for.

Caibou - I have the Sky color...they are fabulous! Unfortunately, just browsing the Zappos site doesn't offer the more colorful versions of the boot. Go under search & type in the name; the 2nd selection of women's is the home of the more vibrant caribous. So worth it!!!

Sorel Caribou Review - This is an awesome, warm, water-proof, snow-proof boot. My only criticism is that it did run a half size big. I had already worn it outside and didn't feel I could exchange it for the next size down.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! I have been wanting a pair of Sorels for about 19 years now! When I went on Zappos.com and saw the Free Shipping offer, I couldn't pass them up! What a fantastic deal and what a great boot! The boots arrived the very next day (still with FREE SHIPPING). I opened the package at work and two co-workers subsequently placed orders for Sorel boots! Even though the weather hasn't really gotten bad yet, I've been wearing them outside when the grass is wet. Very comfortable and very stylish. I can't say enough good things about them...

So big - These are very heavy and made my feet look enormous, even though they felt a little short (but wide) inside. It must be all the insulation. I was also told that their bulk may make them difficult to drive in. The Cumberlands have a somewhat daintier appearance and were more comfortable, so I went with those.

Cozy feet - Have not yet worn them outside, needed a good pair of winter boots for the cold. Most of the other reviews rated them good for keeping your feet warm. There seems to be enough room to wear a medium to heavy pair of socks without being too tight.

Great boot! Finally got to wear the boot as the snow and slush came about a month earlier than usual. Top marks for warmth and dryness. I'm petite (5'2") so it comes pretty high up on the calf. But plenty of room to tuck the pants in for extra protection.

Great boots for Iowa - I ordered these boots for my Daughter hoping she'd have a good warm, waterproof boot for this winter, and she got IT. Iowa winters can be very cold and wet and these boots will keep her foot warm and dry.

Caribou - If you are looking for a winter boot that keeps you warm, and are not so concerned with the look these are perfect. They are quite bulky and a bit stiff, but will wear in. They are true to size. If you're planning on being able to cover them up with a pantleg they are too bulky, but they are definitely warm and waterproof.

Barbara - Still have my first pair of sorel's taht I got in Alaska. 6 & 1/2 years ago they never failed to keep my feet warm. I wore them every where. I need a new pair this year. Time to upgrade for looks only because the ones I have are still in perfect shape.

A little too bulky - These are a little wide and bulky. Definity true to size. It looks more like they are more for a man than woman.

They're comfy and they last forever! These boots are great! They're super-warm and super-sturdy. I just threw away a pair of Sorel Caribou boots that had finally hit the dust after at least ten winters of barn use. I ordered a new pair last night, and they arrived today. The treads are much improved over the old ones, and they seem to fit true-to-size with one pair of thick socks.

It's July and I can't wait until winter! These boots are great! I would have loved a size 9 1/2 but since they weren't an option--I got the 10. I like my winter boots a little bigger anyway and these are great. With normal winter socks they are just right not too snug, but I would say that they are true to size. The boots are very well constructed and super comfy! I plan on using these when I walk my dog and we do go in snow drifts and uncleared paths so these boots are just the right height for New England winters. Great soles to provide extra traction on hills and slippery areas. What really surprised me though is that such a rugged boot could be so light, but warm. They are easy to slip on and off but seem to stay in place well--and the I experienced no rubbing even though I didn't lace them up very tight. At Zappos prices this is a steal!

The boots definitely run large by about half a size. At first they were stiff, uncomfortable, and much too large with one pair of thick boots socks. Walking uphill, my heels chafed; going downhill, my toes slid forward and jammed against the front. Wearing two pair of very thick boot socks (thickest I could find) made the boots fit correctly. After about three weeks of daily wear, the leather became softer. Since then, the boots have been very comfortable and keep my feet very warm and completely dry. They still aren't perfect; they're not tall enough for more than a few inches of snow, and they are heavy with stiff molded bottoms. Overall, though, they are the best buy in their price range if your goal is warm, dry feet.

Better than I could have hoped for! I ordered these boots for working in the barn, but wanted them to go for the rest of the world as well. I try to never wear my "good" boots to the barn, but with these I couldn't resist. I may need to get a second pair. I got a size 8 when I usually get a 7 or 7.5 shoe, but they fit great! I also ordered the shorter "zipper" style, but they were harder to get into.

Sorel Caribou Review - I was completely satisfied when I received my boots. They fit extremely well and were as comfortable as they look. I would recommend this boot to anyone that gets cold feet very easily and has to walk through the snow.

Wonderful Snow Boot and Outstanding Service! These boots look stylish, feel wonderful and keep your tootsies warm and dry in the snow! I love them! I have severe back problems and have to be careful about the shoes I wear, but these shoes didn't bother my back at all and made it so much easier to get around in deep snow! Two thumbs and all ten toes up! Also, I would like to mention that Zappos.com is a wonderful place to order shoes. I had never placed an order with them prior to purchasing these boots and they arrived the next day! I didn't ask for priority shipping or anything! The Next Day! That's what I call service!

This is one serious boot! Love the look and quality of the Sorels. The only problem is that they felt a full size too big. They fit only after I put on 2 pairs of socks. Wish they were offered in half sizes. 6 1/2 would have been perfect.

The best boots I've ever had - I'm looking forward to the snow now that I have my new snow boots. Now I'll be able to clean off my car, take walks in the snow, etc. in comfort. They're very well made, and the leather on them is SOOOO soft. I would recommend Sorrel boots to everyone.
