Unfortunately, I had to return the boots. The sizing was wrong for me. The boot with the liner was way too narrow in the ankles and foot. The liner did not sseem to fit the boot. Without the liner, the boots were way too big in the toe area (even with heavy socks or two pairs of socks). The boot itself was great. I wish they had fit.

The shoe was just too much. We had to send it back. My husband was looking for a city snow boot and these boots just took over. You have to wear the pants tucked in and that didn't look good or feel good. We had to pay a huge shipping fee to return them and a small shipping fee to get them. I have been spoiled by the fee-less sites, but they are very convenient when buying shoes that you have never tried on.

I ordered these boots for my husband. He wears a 9 1/2 so I ordered a size 10. He could not even get his foot into the boot. I don't understand why they can't make wide widths.
As it turned out, they fit my son fine so I gave them to him and ordered a larger size for my husband and if they don't fit, back they will go

These were so stiff, heavy, and clunky that I think I would have tripped over my own feet if I tried to wear them. Also make your feet look huge. Sent them back.

These shoes are massive. I wear a size 6.5 and they make my foot look huge. They are also super heavy.

The good thing: they kept my feet warm. The bad things: they were extremely heavy; made for a much bigger/thicker foot (man's?) - avoid it if you have a slim build. I had no flexibility in my ankle to be able to drive with them on, or walk comfortably/safely. They seem like boots made for a moonwalk. I returned them.

Ridiculously HUGE! I had to double check that I didn't accidentally order men's boots when I open these up. They are at least a half a size to a whole size too large, and ridiculously wide. I have a pretty large frame and probably a average to wide foot and even on me these are so large they look ridiculous. The sizing with sorel is so inconsistent now depending on which style you order.

Ordered a size 7.5 black and received a size 7 gray. The item itself may be fine but the process of ordering through Zappos has been bad.

I've owned two pair of Caribou. SOREL changed this style--increasing the diameter of the felt liner (the ends meet at the laces) and narrowing the ankle circumference (where the shaft meets the arch) making it difficult to insert a pointed toe foot into the boot--unless one has a very narrow foot. A shoe repairman found it faulty as well, as he couldn't even get his hand inside the boot. SOREL, please modify my favorite boot!

ok. I have always loved the caribou boots but the last two pairs I have had lasted only one year before the rubber cracked. I live in montana where the winters tend to be cold and long so I wear the boots a lot but I am thinking they should last longer than one year. I see this comment a lot so it is obvious there is a problem. I want to like them but the cracking rubber just won't let me.

I purchased these boots in November 2021 and I wore them through the remainder of winter with no problem. This most recent winter the rubber began cracking at the bend points of the boot and because I have owned them for 16 months there is nothing that can be done. Would not recommend unless you are wanting to replace them every year/every other year.

1st pair lasted 15 years
Not as comfortable as 1st pair the sole is different and you can feel the rubber bumps when you walk

Soles delaminated after 30 times worn. Unacceptable for this price point.

Safety concern - BEWARE! I purchased these boots for the snow - and while they do feel comfortable and keep you warm - there is absolutely no traction on floor when going indoors. We went to a restaurant while in the snow, and naturally the floors are wet from tracking in snow. There is absolutely no traction on floor - I slipped, flew in air, and fell on my back/head. I'm thankful I wasn't carrying my baby at the time. Extremely unsafe and do not advise purchasing. You can't expect people to take off their snowboats when going in a restaurant or store.

Comfortable, warm but a complete pain taking the boots off. Once you take the boot off the complete lining of the boot comes out. These boots would be great if this didn't happen, Every single time!

Returns cost money and shipping (even expedited) takes forever. Buy from somewhere else!
PS. They sure don't make them the way they used to...

I bought this boot along with a pair for my wife over one month ago. She got her pair along with a photo confirmation of delivery. I do NOT have my boots. Said they were delivered but there was no photo confirmation. Sorel opened an investigation with lazership and still no answer. Customer service seems like they have their hands tied. These boots will not make for great springtime footwear! Refund my money or send the boots!

Used less then 5 times, rubber upper became unglued from base and split down to the toe. Very disappointing at this price point, I have another pair of everyday boots that have zero issues. Bought these to shovel the driveway or go sledding on the handful of times we get snow each year. Being they are over a year old no warranty.

My daughters and I bought these boots for my husband for Christmas in 2020. We live in Colorado so he only wears them in winter. The rubber on the uppers has split completely through on both boots along the big toe side. One of the leather straps that held D-ring for laces has also torn off. His pair of Polar Sorels that he owned prior to these lasted over 20 years. Too bad quality is not at all the same.

I just bought theses boots for a trip in Duluth to keep my feet warm. So uncomfortable and heavy and gave me sores on the back of my ankles z I don't recommend this boot at all. Very disappointed in my first and probably last pair of boots I buy from this company unless it's made right.

My feet get cold within 30 minutes working outside. I've tried regular, wool, and a combination of socks - makes no difference. Very disappointed.

It's so strange that the interior boot is not connected to the exterior boot. It's very frustrating to take them on and off. Also the ankle sections rub badly when you are wearing thin socks.

I ordered these boots when they were 50% off and waited for a delivery update. There was none so I found the original order email to check the status and apparently my order was cancelled. No email telling me why it was cancelled. No super deal. No new boots to replace my 39 year old Sorel's. Nothing.
