I bought my first pair in 1983. After 28 years of hunting, ice fishing, hiking and otherwise enjoying tough Wisconsin winters, I can honestly say that my feet have never -- and I mean never -- been cold in these boots. Nearly broke my heart to replace them, but I finally just wore them out. Bought my last pair recently -- I won't live long enough to wear them out. These are the finest boots made. Period.

These boots are just awsome ! They are very well built and the removable insert is such a great
feature . The only complaint I have is the lack of half sizes available .
I wear a size 11.5 and I tried ordering an 11hoping the might run big . They were a little tight so I went up to a size 12 . The 12 is loose on my foot and I have to wear thick socks witch is a killer since the boots are so warm . The other problem is at size 12 you move into the next
overall boot size , so the boots are taller and look a bit clunky on me now .
If you do wear a whole size though , these are the way to go !

I love these boots. They are tall enough to keep my feet warm and dry through all the snow we have had this winter. A necessity for living in New England.

I just received my boots last week and have worn them several times already and have only good things to say about them! First of all, the boots definitely run large. I am usually an 8 and ordered a 7 as I knew that they tended to run a bit large, this was a very good decision. I did find that the boots were a bit stiff when first trying them on however this was cured with in the first wear of the boots.
I have been out several times snowshoeing, walking, and in the snow and my feet have not been close to chilly, the boots are very very warm!
I look forward to spending the rest of the winter in these awesome boots!

I am a normal 7 7.5 shoe size..Figured I would go with the 8. I ordered the 8 and they were tremendous. I then order the 6 because there was no way the 7 would fit..I knew it..The 6 came and they fit perfect. I LOVE THEM...If you are an 8 but a 7. If you're a 7, buy a 6. Love them and wouldn't trade them for the world.

I was really excited to get some decent snow boots. When these arrived, they looked awesome, but they are huge! Even with thick socks on my feet are swimming in these. I normally wear a 6.5 so I ordered a 6. My foot was coming up the back, and to try to keep them on I laced them so tight that I was cutting off the circulation to my leg. Yes, they're big and clompy like some of the other reviews state, but my problem is that they didn't come close to fitting. I didn't think going down to a 5 would be a smart move, so these boots are going back. I might try my luck with a more narrow fitting boot.

It has been too long since I have had a pair of Sorel Caribou's to wear as I work and enjoy the season of snow. Now I am back, and oh so happy.

thanks for the boots . 2 pairs for me and my husband. I just guessed at the size, knowing I would wear thick socks with them. They are perfect. easy lace, easy to pull on and off. sturdy construction. really warm, high enuf lugs to step into deep puddles on the melting street curb. good traction. what else, Oh, yeah, I like the colors we got. brun and tan.

These boots definitely run big (I'm a size 10 and my feet are wide but based on other reviews I ordered a 9 and it's perfect). They are cute, comfortable and warm. Highly recommend.

I love these boots! It has been a killer winter in Chicago with non-stop snow. These boots have kept my feet dry and warm. They are a bit heavy, but that is a small price to pay. They do fit a bit large, but I tend to wear thick socks, so the size is perfect. Cute with skinny jeans!

These boots are warm, warm, warm. Perhaps not the most feminine, but they keep the toes toasty while shoveling and walking the dog through drifts.
I'd love it if Sorel designed something this height, but a little bit more narrow. It's clear these were designed for men as when I removed the liner, the inner boot was marked with the corresponding men's size.

Got these as a Christmas present and my brother got me my regular size 6 in them. I must say that they run a little big, and I like my boots snug so I ordered a 5 and I think they fit great! So warm that sometimes I wish we would get 12 inches just so I had an excuse to wear them everyday! A little stiff at first but easy to get used to! I love them!

These are good boots. They are good looking, well made, water proof and warm. I use them during winter outings with the scout troop, clearing snow, ice fishing and snow shoeing. I wear a medium weight wool sock leaving room for my foot to move just a little. I recommend putting Caribou's on just before heading into the cold. If you need to travel before going out wear travel shoes. When you arrive, change socks and then put on your Sorel's. You will start with dry socks and your feet will stay warm and dry!
I recommend these boots to others and bought a pair for my son as well.

These boots are tremndous. I bought my last pair while living in the Adirondack Mtns in 1980. I kept that same pair until now, thirty years!!! This might be the last pair of boots I buy, not because of the quality, but just because I might not live long enough to buy another. They are great and wouls recommend them highle to anyone that needs to keep their feet warm

these are quite big and bulky, but they're also not for a fashion show - they're for facing the snow. i thought i was superwoman when i went out for the first time to tackle the weather. i slipped on ice right away - haha. but in the snow these are amazing. if you have had a rough winter like we have up in the north east then these are a must. i typically wear a 6.5 or 7 shoe and the 7 in these boots are perfect. run wide.

I live on a college campus in Vermont and I have to have good sturdy footwear to get to class, these are prefect. They fit well, are durable, and are really comfy and warm. < 3

I'm a freshman at Indiana University and have to walk at least 15 minutes to each of my classes. This winter has been brutal especially with the snowcalypse. Right before it hit, I told my dad that my Fuggs weren't cutting it and needed new boots so I ordered these. These boots have kept my feet dry and warm in this terrible weather. They look good and I can tell will last me throughout college. They are a tad big however and have caused some blisters on the back of my heel, but with a tall pair of socks folded over there's no problem. I like my shoes a bit roomier and wear 8s in Nike Women's but I think I should have gone at least a half-size smaller. But they are totally worth the money. I love them and all the girls on my floor like them too! =]

I got these boots after hosting an outdoor winter party where my feet felt so frozen I didn't completely enjoy myself... now that I have these Caribou boots, I feel like my toasty toes could stand many days in the outdoors with no worries! I tested them this past weekend snowmobiling - they are just awesome and I look forward to years of warm feet!

I purchased these boots this winter after my husband bought a men's pair and thought they were fantastic. He was right! We are having a horrible winter on the East Coast. I found the boots I had were ridiculously inadequate. The Sorel Caribou boot is just what I need. Great fit, traction and insulation. I had to do alot of work outside to help get snow and ice off the roof. These boots were awesome!! They didn't fall off my feet when I was navigating my way through the waist deep snowdrifts. Highly recommend!!

After wearingand loving my size 7 white Sorel pac-boots for more than 45 years, (worn even this morning, tho' I replaced the liners about 15 years ago.) The soles are starting to wear through the outside rubber at the heels. Ordering a new pair, I thought that a size 8 would be more than big enough. Not so. I couldn't even get the boot all the way on -- and had a heck of a time getting it off my foot. I sent them back, but (1) now unsure about sizing (foot is wide in front, but low volume) and did not really like the black and tan effect for me (combo looks okay for my husband). In addition, I really prefer the flat "crinkled" sole to one with a heel (snow tends to gather up where the sole and heel meet.) I was so disappointed!

Got these boots right before the big snow storm that hit NY. They are perfect for deep snow, have great traction and are cozy to wear. I think my only problem was that when I got them I couldn't get my foot into the boot. Come to find out sometimes the insert is defective. I chose to cut the elastic down the middle and that ended up working perfectly (they did offer to pay for shipping back to them for a return). All in all I really love these boots and have even purchased an additional pair of the 1964's.
