I just bought my second pair so I have no idea how this pair will do. The last pair were great and lasted 7 years. Unfortunately, the evaluation is requested even before it has adequately snowed here. Whoever is sending out the requests for reviews needs to take a look at the weather and send out the request for reviews after adequate weather has taken place to confirm the quality. It's stupid to write a review of an untested product, and that's what the review program is asking of me.

Still breaking them in, but the height of the boot hits the calf in an uncomfortable spot. I'm hoping that tying them loose and more wear and tear will soften them up so they won't be so tight. Love the durability of this brand, and the look is great too. They are so warm, I've been wearing them around the house as house shoes too. Overall, really Love them :)

I bought these 3 yes ago & I love them. I won't buy any other brand than Sorel. I bought my first pair in 1970. I wore them until 2005. Someone else wore them & they were stained with some black stuff & the bottom tread was very smooth making them slippery for walking in snow. They were tall & white. Kind of a nylon/canvas type material. I even remember where I bought them. My feet were always warm even without socks on. I walked 15 miles in -54 windchill & my feet were toasty warm.

My first pair of Sorels lasted 20 years so of course I purchased another pair when it finally came time. The second pair lasted only 2 winter seasons! The rubber cracked on both boots (and not on the bridge of the foot or an obvious wear spot). Sorel would not warranty-stand behind their product.

Fit great. On the heavy side, but exactly what I wanted to keep my feet warm and dry this winter.

These are the best boots for snow. So durable and comfortable.

I've had these boots for 4 years, very light use each year. They were never my main boot, only used in special circumstances during winter. Just a couple of times each year. In that time, the rubber has cracked where the toe bends. Sorel's solution to the problem is to just buy a new pair of boots..... I don't trust them anymore, way too many reviews of this same exact problem happening.

My first pair of caribou's I bought in Alaska lasted me over 34 years, even though I've tried to destroy them on occasion. They took a direct hit from an axe that bounced off a frozen log I was chopping for the fire. Cut through the rubber bottom at the toes, but the liner stopped the axe, good thing for me as I was on a remote island in Prince William Sound, with transport off for a week. I've gone through so many liners that at last I could not get Sorel liners anymore in Alaska, so the boot became part time where and I switched to my Sorel Glacier's. But this last spring as I was driving through Canada, I stopped at a well know retailer and low and behold I found my new "bou's"! Hopefully they will last as long as my first pair!

These boots are Sexy and Sturdy built Perfect just like my husband.

These boots are a must have winter, fall, spring even summer. Just wear them without socks easy pull to pull onn. Love them!! But if you are going to buy them please do take the size test really helpful and if you still have questions call customer service they are experts!!

The moment I received these boots, I wore them immediately. They are so warm and comfortable. I love this brand and that is why I have three other pair of boots from them. It's quality and made well. I will be wearing these boots again when winter comes around this year.

Ordered for the first time and my order arrived incorrect. the size I ordered was not what I received and the boots had a odor, almost like used boots. customer service responded timely. i won't be refunded my credit for shipping until my credit card is refunded as per your customer service email. which i might add is not making me happy. i have to do the work and then email them to be refunded. not my mistake this all happened. Winning would make me give your product another try, thank you

I bought these for my trip to Iceland in March. I went in March of 2019 rather unprepared and definitely experienced uncomfortably cold feet. I didn't want to make the same mistake so made the investment. My feet were never cold, but boots are "heavy" I'm assuming related to quality. With normal socks (not wool/thick) boots still fit well enough, but I would not be able to wear with thick socks.

I ordered these boots for my husband after purchasing a pair for myself this past winter. We use them for ice fishing and even in -15 conditions on the ice, they keep our feet nice and warm the entire time. Even with the water flooding our feet from the auger, the boots protect our feet! I can't say enough about these boots!

I typically wear a size 12, but the12s ran a little big. So the 11.5 was perfect. Not only are these boots super comfortable, but I always receive compliments on them, and most importantly they keep me warm. I've had a pair for over 5 years and they're good as new. Great boot, great design, and even better quality.

I live at 9220ft above sea level. The absolute best all around winter boot.

I bought these for my 9 year old son because I wanted a good warm and waterproof pair of boots. These work perfectly for the Cold Minnesota weather. And it's a bonus that they look great! Love sorel boots!

This seems to be great for really snowy winters. They're very insulated with a thick sole that will protect feet from the ground but be prepared to lug around a very heavy boot. It's incredibly heavy but I guess that's necessary to be effective. I didn't keep them as I don't think that's necessary for NY but if you live someplace north these would be great
