So far, so good! These are definitely more heavy as other reviews have stated, but they are also waterproof and extremely warm. Look forward to wearing these for many winters to come!

Really comfy and warm, and great traction for my winter dog walks in snowy Minnesota.

Love these boots. They keep my feet warm and are waterproof. Perfect for NYC snowstorms we've been having. Just a little heavy, so keep that in mind. But overall love it.

I typically wear a 10.5-11, I ordered these in an 11 and they fit great!
I bought these a few weeks ago and they came just in time for the bitter temperatures in the midwest. I am a teacher and use these for work. I am outside in sometimes 0*F (not counting wind chill) weather, for up to 30 minutes, twice a day. It was actively snowing, or freezing rain twice and my feet have stayed cozy dry.
These had great traction while I was helping little kids get into their cars, and I wasn't afraid to step in puddles or the snow drifts that pile up on the side of the curb.
There is a minute where they don't grip as well on tile while they are still wet, but they very quickly dry.
They are comfy enough to wear all day.
I also like that the laces are not too difficult. I have owned snow boots where I have to fully loosen the laces to put my feet in. With these, I can fit my foot in comfortably without unlacing, and tighten them up quickly.

These boots are extremely warm and provide excellent water protection. I use mine walking around an island in the St. Lawerence River, which includes using them to snowshoe. They are good on ice and snow. I went down a half size which was the right decision. They are cumbersome but that is a small price to pay for the warmth, durability and functionality provided.

Seriously top notch for the price point and maybe even one above it. I live in an ice prone part of the country and these things even have grip when the ground is slippery. Check these out if you're into the design and structure.

I actually love these boots, although when I opened the box I wasn't so sure I would. I wasn't expecting them to be quite as big and bulky as they are - especially in the toe area (although they don't feel big. It's more on the outside they look huge). BUT, they are SO warm and keep my feet super dry and really that's why I bought them. Great quality. Seriously can't beat them for the price. The generic ratings won't let me change - this boot is better than average.

They are very big I would order a size and half from your normal shoe's. Definitely not as comfortable as the old pair I use to have. Lots of reviews say the rubber cracks with in a year. I believe it now that I have been wearing them. Probably won't buy ever again.

The boot are quality. However, they are very heavy! They are difficult to remove, even when places are loosened. The toe area is wide and clunky, pressing both the gas and brake pedal in my car at the same time! I now have to hold my right boot at certain angles to engage only the gas or brake pedals. I wish the boots were generally more comfortable and they cannot be returned.

Never have I ever thought I would need a pair of Sorel winter boots living in the Deep South. However, life just happens, and here I am, in middle of Wisconsin experiencing negative Fahrenheit temperature. I didn't know that was possible, but it was, apparently. I got this pair right before winter storm came in Wisconsin, so I got to experience how great these are against cold/snow/wet ground.
Pros:
- Really, really warm. I went outside to go grab some food/groceries, and my feet were warm. It was funny experience because I couldn't feel my thighs but I could feel my feet/toes.
- Is very waterproof. I like walking in the snow. Didn't have much chance to see snow in regular basis, so I had lots of fun with it this winter. When I came back inside, only my feet stayed dry.
- Basically does its job. It's waterproof winter boots. It is waterproof and for winter weather.
Design/size:
-I usually wear size 8 for tennis shoes. I have high and wide instep, so even though I didn't plan on wearing thick socks, I got 8.5. They fit nicely. Not too tight where I need to put bandaids on my heel but not too big where I trip over my feet either. Very comfy as well. Walked miles wearing these and my feet weren't in pain. But I advise going with your normal foot size, though. Unless you have high/wide instep like me or wear THICK socks.
- They are... cute. Very cute. Got lots of compliments from my friends and my mom. Keep in mind that my mom is very direct with her opinions. When she says they are cute, they are cute.

At the start of the second snow season, the rubber cracked on both sides of the sole leaking snow and water into the boot. That was a suprise, to say the least. I've repaired them several times, but they simply crack wherever the rubber flexes. I realize these aren't the most expensive boots, but all the way up through the 1990's these were the known as the best, longest lasting winter boots available. I thought these were still made in Canada, they are not.
Time to start researching a different boot.

True to size, extremely comfortable and work great in the snow. They have great grippers on the bottom that keep you from slipping.

I purchased these for my friend for Christmas. She had another pair that were probably 25 years old and were a little sad! I did my homework reading customer comments as far as a recommended size and she LOVES them!

I bought these boots in 1990 for snowboarding. Back then you removed the liner and put ski boot liners in, the you ducked taped the ankles!
30 years later my 13 yo son, my 17 yo daughter and myself are all fighting over who gets to wear them as we are currently all the same shoe size. I'm here to buy another pair as these boots last a lifetime.

Just bought this boot and am so happy I made the splurge to finally get a pair of Sorel boots. They are warm and roomy and comfortable! I agree they are a bit large/clunky, but you have to remember this is a SNOW boot. My mother has Sorels from the 70's that she still wears and swears by. I needed a boot that is durable and reliable for Midwest winters and this is exactly what I got. The caribou boot is a classic.

I bought these boots and as soon as I tried them on I knew there was no way I could walk comfortably in them. They are heavy and clunky. It felt like I was walking around in clown shoes filled with bricks. They seem to be made well and seem like they'd be able to withstand tough winters, but I couldn't see myself wearing these in public without being embarrassed of how huge they are.

These boots fit like a glove the very 1st time I'm put them on. I went ice fishing the day after I received them. No shin discomfort at all and they were true to sizing. My feet were toasty all day long. I'm ordering my wife a pair right now!

I wanted to love these; I definitely think they would be truly warm, which is what I most care about. They are heavy and a little wide, but I would have absolutely kept them, except on one boot, the seam where the rubber meets the upper is so thick it dug into my foot at the back of my ankle. Didn't matter if I loosened up the laces, even through the thick felt liner I could feel it was going to rub my ankle raw. Deal-breaker, and they went back. Not sure if I should just try another pair, or if that's standard...

These boots are huge compared to most typical women’s boots- not in shoe size but the overall boot. They look enormous on my feet. Additionally, they are HEAVY. I can’t imagine moving very far in snowy conditions wearing these boots. It is also very hard to get them off without completely pulling out the insole with my foot.
