I have a pair of black Graysons that are very veratile. They can look dressy with a suit or more casual for dress-down days. They are the most comforable shoe I own and have lasted for years.

The Grayson is my top choice to wear with any of my dark suits. The quality is exceptional, the fit is very comfortable - even when wearing for a long business day. This shoe carries itself well from the Boardroom to dinner events that occur afterward. This model is a superior business shoe - and one that deserves special consideration by any decerning business person.

AE's Graysons are of excellent quality. You can see it in the leather and craftsmanship. And length of ownership proves its phenominal durability. I recently bought my 3rd pair of Graysons. The first two pair were worn often for 30 years. And the 3rd purchase was necessary only because the 2nd pair burned in a house fire. Sincerely, Guy W.

I have worn AE shoes for many, many years. The Grayson is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. It fits very well, and is light weight. The pair I am wearing now is well over 10 ten years old and still look brand new. I have only had to resole them a couple of times. Great shoes!

With a long, narrow foot, slip-ons can be a challenge. I first ordered a 13A, my size in Park Avenues, and found them to be very comfortable. However, I was concerned that could become a little loose as they stretched to conform to my foot and I returned them for 13AA. I suspect my break-in period was a little longer, but they are now the most comfortable shoes I own, dress or casual.

The Grayson tends to run a bit wide. However, the look itself, is classic and timeless. Compared to compeitor tassle loafers, I think AE does a much better job with their stitching - this can make or breaka standard loafer look.

Very comfortable and versatile shoe; great for business casual or with a sport coat and tie.

I first bought my Graysons 1996. I wear them 3 to 4 times each week. I have had them recrafted once, resoled many times. They continue to serve me well and look rather new. I continue receiving compliments!

I have purchased many pairs over the years because they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. The are suitable for almost all types of dress and make packing for travel very easy.

After 2 0r 3 wearings the cork molds to your foot and you don't even know that you have shoes on. I wear these outside in bad weather quite frequently(I'm a Funeral director) and with proper care, they last quite a long time' Dare I say "shoes to die for."

My foot was made for this shoe. I have been wearing AE shoes since 1981. They are all good, but this one is great. The recrafting service keeps them up to grade!

I have had my Allen Edmonds Grayson shoes re-crafted two times now. Each time, they come back looking 'brand new'. The shoes are well built and comfortable once they are broken in. The leather sole is a bit stiff at first, but this loosens up as you wear them. The Grayson looks terrific, polish well and maintain their shape for many years. I have multiple pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and all are quality crafted. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for an outstanding pair of dress shoes. These shoes are over 10 years old! They look new.

My shoes set my mood for the day, casual will be laid back, basic ends up as a day in the trenches slugging it out and in Grayson Dress I own the world. My day starts out with anticipation as soon as I make the Grayson decision. I often will sport my bet fitting suite boldest tie, it actually feels like the first day of school (the good ones) with the new clothes and you are unstoppable. I seldom get complements on my shoe selections with the exception of the Grayson days. These complements heighten my mood and all this from a shoe. As the day draws to a close and it is time to condition and polish and place back in the felt bag, I feel a little sadness knowing I cannot wear them for a few days and I look forward towards the next opportunity to take on the world Grayson style.

I have such an unusual foot size 13 AAA in Loafers and 13 AA in Lace Ups. I've tried several brands over the years but, Allen Edmonds out performs them all in quality and workmanship. Thanks!

This a wonderful shoe, I have owned 3 pair and presently own two. The fit is wonderful and in comes in "A" width which for us guys with a narrow foot is great. They polish and look very dressy. I have worn them to perform with a symphony.

Love the Grayson best of all of my Allen Edmonds shoes. They look great with a suit or nice casual slacks. Typically, slip-on shoes do not fit me well but these do. Recrafting makes them look brand new!

I counted seven pair of AE shoes in my closest today...including the Grayson, which I consider my "standard" shoe for casual or semi-causual wear. At least two pair hae been "recrafted" and I still stand amazed at how good they looked after being redone. The shoes are a tremendous value and the recrafting option simply enhances the value. Please count me as a "very satisfied " customer. Inaddition to AE shoes, I also have purchased shoe products and belts...all top quality. No need to consider any other brand.

I have owned several pairs of these shoes - in black, cordovan, tan, and brown, and have had them all re-crafted several times during the last 25 years. They have performed well and always look and feel great. Would not hesitate to buy them again or recommend to others. Bill

Quality, looks, comfort..it's all here for a very good price. I paid much more for a pair of C&J's and don't see a difference in the above.

The Grayson is quite similar to my other five pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes -- the Grayson and each other pair are stylish and professional; each is terrifically comfortable; I wear these shoes every work day, so each pair is continuously and regualrly worn by me. Each Allen Edmonds shoe is strong and durable; while I'm not hard on my shoes, the Allen Edmonds shoes stand up quite well to the everyday wear and tear. I highly recommend Allen Edmonds shoes and will never purchase dress/work shoes that do not bear the Allen Edmonds brand. In a word (or two!!!), these shoes are absolutely terrific. LSL.

I have had this pair for seven years, and while I own different AE lace ups and loafers, I find these to be just right-- you can wear with khakis or a suit. I have only had to replace soles once. The fit is perfect if you have a regular to slightly high arch.

I've owned these for a few years. They're quite comfortable, and they look as good as the day I bought them. Most important, they've made me something of a "babe magnet" at work and elsewhere.
