It was a toss up between the Grayson and the Acheson but I really wanted to get the Oxblood so the Grayson won. The 91/2e fit was just right as with all the other Allen Edmonds dress shoes I own. They broke in nicely without any problems after one full day. The Oxblood looks like it was hand burnished, which adds to the classic look. If your in the market for a tassel loafer I highly recommend this shoe.

I have bought these shoes on and off for 20+ years. They look great, fit well, and last a long time.

Possibly the most beautiful and dressy slip-on. I have owned and worn the Grayson for over 10 years and am very pleased with the quality, fit and finish and durability as well as the very, very dressy, yet simple Grayson. I've not yet had the need to re-craft them. And wonderful for a narrow foot.

I prefer lace up for every day but when I want some extra pizzaz I enjoy wearing these. They fit well and look very nice, I am very pleased

I purchased the Grayson loafers in the chili color during the month of April. It has been a fabulous shoe. The chili color is very versatile. The shoe is extremely comfortable and it's easily paired with slacks or jeans. Every man needs a quality tassel loafer which is exactly what the Grayson is.

I love my graysons, and now have three pairs. I can wear them all day and not be uncomfortable, plus they have an amazing low profile. Pair perfectly with narrow jeans.

This is my second pair of Grayson Dress Loafer. This an excellent and well crafted shoe. The fit is extremely good and comfortable. Overall this is great value for money and will highly recommend it to a friend.

As I type this, I am wearing a pair of these shoes. I have had many pairs over the years, and I keep having them re-crafted when I can. Simply stated, they are one of my favorite shoes from one of my favorite manufacturers. Enjoy. Dan

This loafer is so cool. It has a great look to it. Although I got it in Chili--which looks great--I would recommend the Oxblood, as it is the coolest.

Good Morning! I bought these shoes several years ago. This is probably one of three dozen pairs that I've purchased over the years. About 10 years ago I wore size 12 1/2 AAA in the Dress Loafers. Now I wear size 13 AAA in Dress Loafers. I was part of the Cobbler Program that if you purchased 12 pairs, the 13th would be free. Since that time about two years ago, the new shoes that I try on now are not snug anymore. They move up and down like a flip-flop. I hate this because I really love the Allen Edmonds Shoes but I don't know if the last has changed or my foot size has changed, although I'm still wearing the Allen Edmonds every day that I bought in the past. I rotate between loafers and lace ups. I know that there is a Custom Fit Program but, I cannot justify the additional cost. Thanks!

like the summary says, this is my actual go to shoe when Im in my "i don't wanna have to think" mood. I am a pharmacist so I am on my feet most of the day so comfort is key and these babies stay comfortable from 9am to 5pm with no issue at all. i wear a 10.5 in these and the strands and i find that these are just a tad bit roomier than the strands however i do NOT recommend sizing up. Get these, you wont regret it!

Just terrific shoes! This is my third pair of AE's (Bleecker Street boots in black and Fifth Avenue in brown) and I cannot say enough about the fit and quality. I was partial to another brand for many years and kick myself I didn't try AE's sooner. Highly recommended!

Graysons are great shoes. I have enjoyed them for years and now have a number of pairs so that they can rest between wearings and I can have shoes to wear while sending a pair back for recrafting. They are durable, comfortable, and look great all at the same time. I have one pair that has a half composite sole and am enjoying the extra durability it provides. I have had one pair for over 10 years and through multiple recraftings. Still enjoy them. If you haven't tried them you should.

I bought my first pair of black Grayson dress loafers 'bout 35 years ago. Wore them to my own wedding. Wore them to all of my 4 sons' weddings. Have danced the night away in them on many occasions. Have had them refurbished only once. Still looking great, especially with a "spit shine"! Just purchased a "chili leather" pair. If they last as long as the first pair, I'll be 106!

I always have a pair of Graysons. It is my go to dress shoe, especially for travel since it is so versatile. I just had my black ones recrafted and they are good for another 5 years! Excellent quality classic design.

This is a beautiful classic. Sizing is a bit tricky, however, if you have a wide foot. I have many Allen Edmonds shoes that I have been wearing for over thirty years, and I almost always fit well in a size 9 1/2 EEE. In the Grayson, however, my normal size was painfully tight. So I went up a half size, and found that a 10 EEE fit perfectly. So if you have a wide foot, go up a half size.

The Grayson dress loafer has met every expectation I had for this shoe. It can be dressed up or worn casual with ease. The shoe was comfortable right out of the box with no breakin period necessary. It is with pleasure that I provide this review.

Ordering and shipping where very easy. Had to return another pair and received refund in no time. Great customer service. Shoes fit perfectly. Didn`t even really had to break them in. Fantastic shoe.

Moving up in the corporate world and was looking for the pair of shoes that stand the test of time. Made the plunge for the craftsmanship and quality of these shoes and cannot be happier with this loafer. Will most likely never part with AE. It's an investment for life and style. Went on to add to the collection with the maxfield for everyday wear.

Shoes fit perfectly. Leather very good. They take a high quality shine using Kelly's Professional Grade Oxblood Shoe Wax. I will order another pair of dress shoes in the same manner.
