Finally found an Allen Edmonds loafer that doesn't have major slippage in the heal area when walking. I went a half size down at the suggestion of my salesman from my normal 10D. Only problem is that while the left shoe fits great the right feels too narrow in the toe box after I have started wearing them. I now believe I made a big mistake on size. I will probably try stretching although I don't think it will work. Too bad, because these are beautiful shoes.

Shoes fit perfectly. Leather very good. They take a high quality shine using Kelly's Professional Grade Oxblood Shoe Wax. I will order another pair of dress shoes in the same manner.

I have a love hate relationship with these shoes. They are extremely comfortable but shortly after purchase I noticed that the tassle string was stretching out so the tassles were no longer up at the top of the shoe but now about 2" lower which means they constantly bounced up and down when walking. A few months later the string broke on one side and I had to tear the tassle off all together while wearing them in the office. When I have time, I'll now have to get them recrafted just to fix what I believe is a design flaw. Until then, they'll stay in my closet.

Right foot shoe rides up on hill and is a little stiff but that shhould moderate with time. This is my sixth or seventh pair and I would still buy them again.

I purchased the Oxblood shoe in May 2015 and found them to be nicely crafted and comfortable after I had the right shoe stretched by a professional. This was caused by the fact that I had a blood clot in my right leg (DVT) about ten years ago and my right foot remained a bit larger than my left. After stretching, these shoes are very comfortable. They are nice looking and look good with all types of pants. In a way, I wish that I had bought the shell cordovan instead of the calf skin, but I can't justify another pair of shell cordovans after I had just purchased a pair of cordovan boots a few months ago.

I have been wearing this model for 10 + years. It's the best.

A great shoe for work or dress. This shoe needs a little patience to get broken in, but after initial break in a good comfort shoe.

Since I am size 14EEE I used to have to take what ever fit - now I can have great looking shoes AND a great fit! Great looking.

The shoes fit perfectly and were very comfortable right out of the box. I had these in Cordovan and they were my favorite shoes. These feel like slippers on my feet.

I like the shoes but 8-1/2E is not same as other shoes I have bought in the past. The top of the shoe is very narrow. I don't have time for ordering different widths and trying them on and then returning them. One of the main reasons I bought from AE is that the 8-1/2E has always fit very well until now.

The quality is not anywhere as good as previous purchases.

The finish was very dull. No shine at all. Even after I polished the shoes still looks unfinished. The black shoes were very good a total opposite of the brown shoe. The shoe looks like some one just did not put the final touches on the shoe. I am very disappointed with the brown shoe.

Everything is great about these loafers; but, ONE thing that the company may think about is putting inside the shoes a whole cushion insole like Nike and Cole Haan has inside their shoes, and then these shoes would be perfect!

The fit is inconsistent between the two shoes. The left fits perfectly but I had to add an insole to the right. And the right shoe squeaks when I walk. These are new problems for me compared to the Allen Edmonds shoes I have purchased over the last fifteen to twenty years. A little disappointng.

ran narrow in the toe box. inside is unimpressive and not comfortable. cheap lining compared to other A&E shoes I have. Leather is more cardboard like.

Ths is the second pair of loafers I have purchase, one casual, one dress, and in each case they were very tights both width and length. I am not sure whether or not I will make another purchase.

High-quality leather. Excellent fit. Very comfortable for a leather-soled dress shoe. Has look and feel of a fine-quality shoe.

The Grayson is a beautiful shoe. It is very stylish and is noticed by nearly everyone. In addition, it is comfortable to wear, even the first time. I own several pairs of Allen Edmond shoes and the Grayson is my favorite pair. It is appropriate for both dress and for more casual events. If slip-on shoes appeal to you at all, get a pair of Graysons. You won't be sorry.

I'm a big fan of Allen Edmonds shoes. I have over 40 pairs. However I have noticed in the past few years you seem to be choosing lower quality materials for the insoles. I first noticed a few years ago when I sent a pair back for recrafting and noticed the difference in the insoles. Now you're doing it in you new shoes also. The comfort is still excellent, and the last fits my foot perfectly so there's really no break-in period.

These shoes are my favorite in my Closet. They are Very Comfy and Nice looking. I get compliments every time I wear them. I have a Pair of Brown and Black that goes with my whole wardrobe. I love these shoes.
