I had these shoes for just a couple of months and the soles are falling apart. I am very disappointed with the soles of the shoe. Other than that they are very nice. I just have to send them back to the factory or get them repaired myself now.

I was delighted to find these shoes in a narrow size. My husband loved them. We will definitely by his next pair with you.

I own over 15 pairs of Allen-Edmonds shoes, I was lucky to have been given advice on shoe-style by a gentleman as I was entering the workforce. He said look at these shoes and guess how old they are, they looked great, I replied 3 to 5 years. Trying not to insult him, the shoes looked practically new and I really thought they were 2 years old at the best. He said they just turned 20 years old, he said his wife purchased them for their 5th wedding anniversary. The Allen-Edmonds Grayson's were probably the 3rd pair I purchased. For shoes, they are the staple of my wardrobe. They can be worn with a suit or offer a classic casual look with a nice pair of Bill's khakis. These shoes, as are all Allen-Edmonds are an investment, a bit pricey but you get a GQ look and the best wear and comfort. If you buy these put a pair of cedar shoe trees in them, take them straight from the box to your local shoe repair and have rubber treads and heel/toe taps put on the bottom and they'll last forever. And, if you could possibly wear them out or damage them, Allen-Edmonds has a re-furbish shop that does any shoe over-haul required (heel/sole/upper).

Great shoe! After a break in period the shoes feel like they was made just for me. Allen-Edmonds quality through Zappos...I love it!

These are the classics and are the best business shoes I have ever had. The good news is that I finally bought a new pair after rotating 3 Allen Edmonds for the last 8 years! Allen Edmonds has a great program where you can refurbish them for this price. I selected these shoes because I was tried of unlacing and lacing my shoes at the airport. These are the best looking slip-on shoes. The bad news is that I forgot how stiff they are when you first buy them. They have made my feet sore and are only now breaking in. They also tend to run a little small so I upped the size by 1/2. Oh, and the Zappos service was superb as usual. They quickly exchanged my sizes for a better size. Love Zappos, still love my Allen Edmonds.

I must have bought 8 pairs of Grayson over the last 20 years. I am always amazed at how well they fit. It is a solid, classic shoe. I am tall and heavy and tough on my shoes but that shoe always feel right. The support is exceptional and if you take good care of it it will last a long time. Excellent buy in spite of the high price tag. Value for money.

An Excellent Pair Of Loafers - Very well crafted with clean lines, inside and out. I ordered an 11B size which was a bit snug at first, but broke-in well in just a few days. Very happy with the shoes and the service.

Best Ever Executive Shoe - I bought this pair of shoes to replace the identical pair I bought in July of 1998 -- I joked with my wife that I was disappointed because I thought the originals would last! Twenty years is pretty darn good. I remember when I bought the originals because it was my first pair of Allen Edmonds and I bought them for a wedding. The original shoes have been through Allen Edmunds recrafting 3 times and still look excellent; in fact, I am still wearing them. To me, this is the classic mens business shoe - rich and executive in look, high quality, wear like iron, but as comfortable as a slipper. I have them in black, brown, and merlot. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic! Zappos is great. Best place to order shoes online!!! Hands down. This shoe has been a main stay in my wardrobe. I had a pair for 20 years with it resoled a few times and now bought it for the next 20. It is very comfortable and they hold up great.

Good Basic Shoe - Nice quality and value for a basic shoe. Great brand overall. Cannot go wrong with this brand and Zappos pricing is great!

Great quality in a classic look - Bought them first in black a year ago. Liked them so much I replaced my worn-out Church's cordovan tassels with this shoe in Merlot, which is not quite a cordovan color but pleasing nonetheless.

Best of classic tassels - I've been wearing black classic tassels for over 40 years. The Allen-Edmonds Grayson has the look and feel of the Brooks Brothers shoe, but at two-thirds of the price. I highly recommend that you check it out.

Good shoe - wide heel - A-E makes an excellent and pricey shoe. I have a narrow foot, so my choices are limited. This one is an excellent fit, especially for a slip-on. However, the heel is wider than I would like. Zappos is the best!

Review of Allen Grayson shoes - For me this shoe is perfect I am a on my feet all day and these shoes are provide me with excellent support I have worn Allen Edmonds for the last 30 years and plan to continue wearing them.

Awesome shoes - Have had several pair of Allen-Edmonds, always a pleasure to wear. Can be recrafted to good as new at factory. Shopping at ZAPPOS almost too easy.

Allen Edmonds Grayson-8.5/D - This shoe was a replacement for the Ferragamo Lucas and was sized comfortably for me. There was an initial breakin needed in my right shoe for a period of about 1 week. Currently, the shoe fits perfectly. The quality is good and the recrafting option is nice if needed at a fraction of the price. As usual, Zappos came through with their excellent and reliable customer service.

Feel Great-Wear Like Iron - I don't know if there is a better value in a high-end men's dress shoe. I have 3 pairs that I have been wearing for 15 years and they all still feel and look great. They fell like "old friends" because they treat me right.

great shoe - Love the look, fit and quality of this shoe. I am on my third pair. No metal in them, so they go through airport security. Also, can send them back to the factory to be remanufactured when they get ratty.

Allen Edmond Shoes - I needed some shoes for a trip because my last pair got soaked in the snow on the way home. I only had a couple of days and I only get this specific shoe. They had it in stock when Allen Edmonds did not. Thanks for the quick turnaround. This was my first purchase but will not be my last.

Allen-Edmond's Grayson - I bought these shoes for my husband for Christmas. He has been wearing Allen-Edmonds for the last 15 years. It is a high-end men's shoe company, but my husband wears these every day to work, and they are durable and last for years. They are soft, and comfortable, and a sharp looking men's shoe. The shoes are worth the extra price.

Best looking shoe on the market and can be worn casual or with a tux...well built and holds a shine over the years...I usually get 7 years out of a pair...I am an owner of 3 pair and still wear them all.
