New Old Friend - I was looking for a cozy and comfortable slipper for $50 or less. I chose this slipper based on the excellent reviews it had received and have not been disappointed. The slippers are easy to slip on and off, warm but not sweltering, and very comfortable. My apartment has slippery wood floors and a cold tiled bathroom, but I don't notice when I'm wearing my Old Friend's slippers. The only thing is that I have very narrow heels, and at first couldn't keep my feet in the slippers. However, the drawstring really does function to snug up the heel and that worked fine for me. The slippers appear to be quite well made, I'm sure they would wear fine outdoors as well - I anticipate wearing them for years to come.

Cozy slippers - Warm, cozy and comfy. Although, I only wear them without socks since they keep my feet so warm and I could have ordered a size down to have a more snug fit.

Old Friend is a new friend - These mocs are great -- really well made, and very comfortable. They have a soft suede sole made of the same material as the rest of the moc, which is getting very hard to find. I prefer this sole over the rubber or hard leather sole that is put on virtually every other moccasin these days. The woven laces are functional if you want to adjust the fit, and they stay tied. A pleasant surprise, all around.

COMFY, COZY HAPPY FEET! This is a great kick around slipper for inside or out; warm but not hot, sturdy sole for outdoors and just all around comfy!

Happy Hoosier - Love them! Have worn them every day since I got them, even the hottest days of the season. Ordered them one day and receved them the next. That's service!

Old Friend Soft Sole Moc -Women's - I love the soft-sole style which is very hard to find. I am an in between sizes and ordered the next larger whole size. They fit perfect. Very comfortable and the thick fleece lining is terrific. No need for socks.

This shoe/slipper is just fine and what I was looking for. But 1/2 sizes might be helpful. I would probably prefer a 1/2 size larger to better accomodate socks. I like that it has a soft sole made of the same material. These are hard to find.

A Perfect Slipper - This slipper is PERFECT!! Was a little worried when ordering because I wear a 6 1/2 and only comes in whole sizes. Ordered the 6 and it is fine. Can't wear socks but don't need to because they are so comfy and warm. I really like that the toe area is more round than pointed which makes it even more comfortable. Love these and so will you!!

Comfy and Cozy - Soft and furry on the inside, these mocs keep your feet warm and cozy. Since they have a smooth sole, the don't scratch our hard wood floors either!

How comfortable can you get? I ordered these mocs on a thursday and they were here on saturday. Talk about service!!! And on top of it the shipping was free!!!! I am still in shock. These are the most comfortable slippers i have ever worn. And the funny thing is I almost returned them 'cuz I thought they were a bit to short. Old Friend's Make Another Pair of Feet Happy! I have owned and cherished a pair of Old Friend's soft sole shearling mocassins for several years now. I just bought a pair for my wife, and she now loves these comfortable, warm-yet-breathable mocs. Simply the best - soft-soles on these types of mocassins are getting harder to find (most have hard plastic or rubber soles), so I heartily endorse these for every day around-the-house wear during the colder months.

An appropriate name: "Old Friend" After extensive comparison shopping for just the right shearling lined slipper...I decided to try the Old Friend Soft Sole Moc. I couldn't be happier!! I wasn't sure which size to order as I'm an 8.5, the size 8 was just right. Half sizes might want to order down. I made the right choice in where to buy as well...Zappos went above and beyond my expectations and I will shop here again!

Beautiful and VERY warm - These are the most comfortable slippers I've ever had and look as though they could be worn outside. The only thing that might be a problem is that they are very warm-- perfect for warming cold feet but depending on you and your house not necessarily for wearing all of the time. Still, I love them.

The kids love em - Exactly what she wanted - a coze, comfortble moccasin at a decent price - as they'll fit only for a year or so.

Old Friend's women's slipper - These slippers are just the best. They fit great, feel great and hold up great. Zappos was easy to order from and the product got here fast.

I miss my old friend. Glad I found another. In the winter time, I meant to put them on the doorstep leading into the kitchen where my new puppy would stay during the work day. Well, I forgot them and left them on the kitchen stool and when I got home, my pup had totally torn one up. All I had was one good one left and I have two feet. I was so upset and have missed my old friend ever since. Glad I found a store that carries them. Please don't ever stop selling them. I still had to kiss and hug my puppy when he looked up at me with those big brown eyes.

Foot Heaven - If there is a heaven for after-work, stressed out tired achey feet, these Old Friends bring the comfort of a hot cup of chocolate on a snowy winter day. These are feel good all over slippers.

Women's Old Friend's Soft Sole Moc - Very comfortable and warm. Great for this time of the year and in this part of the country.

These are great! I've had them for a week now, and several times per hour, I notice how toasty and luxurious my feet are, and it brings me joy. I wanted a genuine shearling slipper, without a rugged outdoor sole, which is surprisingly hard to find. I ordered a bazillion different ones and sent them all back except for these. Old Friend blows away all other brands as far as the plushiness and quality of the shearling. SO soft, dense, and silky. I tried Ugg, dear forms, acorn, none compared (especially those dearforms, their shearling felt thin, sparse, and even scratchy). This keeps my feet extremely toasty, and the soft leather sole allows me to sit Indian style on the couch without thick uncomfortable slabs of rubber digging into my legs. Very nice for walking around a hardwood-floored apartment without waking up my downstairs neighbors. For size: I usually wear a 7.5, and I first tried a 7. It was a little too small. I sent those back and got an 8, which is *slightly* too long and wide, but such is the life of someone with a half-sized foot. The tie is actually functional and can be used to pull the collar tight enough so that my heel doesn't pop out. I am not going to be doing much other than sitting at my desk or on the couch with these, so my journey of finding a bedroom slipper is finally over. The style is a little bit "grandpa-ish," as others have mentioned, but I don't care even a little bit. I looked at Old Friend's website, and these come in a different, cuter color (2-toned), but they are sold out in my size, and Old Friend said that color (chestnut 1) is discontinued. Zappos only has Chestnut 2. My first pair (s7) that got sent back was that color--a single, reddish-tan leather on the entire slipper. The second pair that I kept (s8), is a 2-toned, mystery color, that is different. It's neither chestnut 1 or 2. It is like a chocolate suede stamped with an ostrich skin-like texture, with beige suede accents. *shrug*. I like it. Even though Zappos only has the chestnut 2 option for color, these came in a different color. I like it a little better. I attached a photo of it. Overall, very happy.

These slippers feel like your feet are enveloped in cotton, heavenly and soft. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no support, and my feet hurt after standing in the kitchen for half an hour. I normally wear an 8, but needed the 9 in these because my big toe came all the way to the end of the shoe.

Wearing these slippers for about 1 month now... they are truly warm and comfy. Love the soft soles for around the house. Hope they last for a few years, or I won't spend so much money on slippers again! So far so good!

These are super comfortable. A little snug to start, but the wool compresses. I ordered my normal size. Love the soft sole--makes sitting cross-legged much more comfortable. ties come undone a lot, which is annoying, but I'd still definitely buy these again. perfect for hardwood floors (I work from home and wear slippers basically all day long).

Almost Five Stars - This slipper is very comfortable and soft and quiet against wood floors. I wish it came in half sizes because the nine is a bit too big and I believe that the eight would have been too small. The laces come untied a bit and are also a tad too long. The sheepskin is very comfortable and very warm.

Too small - I ordered these slippers with high expectations and was disappointed when it arrived and was too small. My toes hit the end of the slipper making them uncomfortable. I decided to try something else instead but would recommend ordering a half size up.
