Based on other customer reviews, I ordered my usual size only to find that they are about 1/2 too small. I ordered my usual 8 and found I had to both work to get the slipper on and my toes were touching the front seems. I know these slippers will stretch out a bit and the sheepskin will lose some of its fluff, but even then I like a bit more room in my slippers. The leather outer is very soft. Will swap my 8s for 8 1/2s.

I was on the hunt for the perfect slipper. I ordered 6 or 7 pairs and this is the one I kept. It's not perfect but it is good. They don't keep my feet as warm as I had hoped. The material is sheepskin, not shearling. If you're used to shearling, the wooly material of sheepskin is not as even or comfy, but still nice. I like the shoestring ties because they stay tied better than leather ties. I also like the fact that the ties adjust the fit somewhat around the top.

Super comfy and cozy but they run wide and even tightening them a little didn't help. Because of that they slip on my foot a little more than I would have liked.

Heaven for Your Feet! I have looked everywhere for a soft soled moc and was delighted to finally find these. These mocs feel heavenly! After a hard day in heels or hard soled flats, slipping these on is a treat. I challenge anyone who tries them not to sigh a great big 'Aaaaahhhhh' ever time. Although I was concerned that they might be too warm for TX, I have been pleasantly surprised. Even when the highs have been in the 80s my feet do not feel hot. The ONLY complaint I have is that they are not at all attractive! In fact, someone asked if I was wearing my hubby's slippers. It is a small price to pay for the joy of happy feet! Big kudos to Zappos, too! The mocs were delivered to my door in what seemed like hours! I have never had faster service on anything I ordered online or through a catalog even when I paid for expedited shipping. I will definitely order more shoes this way!

Nice & warm. Sadly, though, they run quite small and my toes are pinched. I hoped they would stretch out but they did not do so at all.

I received the Old Friend soft sole moccasins and got what appeared to be two 'right foot' slippers. They are badly sewn and look like something you would get at the Dollar Store. I am exchanging my two 'right foot' slippers because they seem wider than the average slipper, and appear warm (fully lined with sheepskin). However, if you don't need the wider size, I would suggest you look at another brand, because they are shabbily made. I'm hoping they'll last me a year, at least.

Like other reviewers, I'm not a huge fan of the quality. It's good, not great. The seams aren't as nice as they could be around the toe. And something really annoying: The laces won't stay tied! They're made from a slippy nylon that refused to stay tied so I'm either always tripping or always re-tying my slippers. Not entirely relaxing, but still warm (but not too warm) and very comfy.

I am not a fan, and will be returning them. I picked these because I have the Old Friend Kristina Moc and I absolutely love them. I bought same size, 9, but they are too short. They will probably break in and stretch, but where the toe seam hits is very uncomfortable, right at end/under toenail, just too uncomfortable to deal with. Also, they are very round looking, giving a fat foot look. These are not feminine slippers at all, and I like to feel like a lady, even in my slippers! My husband said they look like men's slippers. Again, I absolutely love the Kristina mocs and highly recommend them if you do not need the insulated slippers.

Didn't hold up over time - I was excited about these comfy, warm slippers when I got them, but they did not hold up. I don't abuse my slippers, and no animals chew on them. The stitching around the front started to come out and I couldn't repair them. The fleece seems to be of cheaper quality since it matted and stays that way. My last slippers (from LL Bean) lasted me for 16 years, these less than two. I'd recommend spending a little extra and going for better quality. These slippers are middle-of-the-road quality and were a disappointment to me after the first few months.

shoes did not arrive in original shoe box. Soles showed visible wear. You sent 2 left shoes!

This moccasins are so shapeless I wasn't sure which was for the right foot or left foot. They're beyond flat and wide and worthless. The lining seemed soft in the places where it touched my feet, but they touched in so few places, the lining couldn't be warm. The suede outside is also very soft....and shapeless. The bottoms are suede also but that means they will become very slick on the bottom when worn enough to smooth out. I so wanted to love them, but they're a "walking" disaster. Thank goodness for the great Zappos' service so I can return on the same day (within 15 minutes) of the time they were delivered. ?

These were a total waste of money (in my opinion). They were warm. However, they didn't hold their shape and every time I took my feet out, little bits of the lining would come out. Should have just spent the extra money for a higher quality pair.
