I wear a 7 1/2 in a shoe and bought a size 8 in this slipper. It is a little big - socks help the fit. I have several pair of Ugg slippers which I really like, but I find myself going to these slippers the most when I am looking for something warm and comfortable.

Love these slippers, I have new hardwood floors that I didn't want to scratch, and these are perfect. Also I love shopping at Zappos. They pay shipping on returns!

I like these slippers, very warm and comfy -- and they stay on. Also, they keep the back of my feet warm.

I normally wear a 6 1/2 and had to size up in this slipper. It's a little big, but it can be tied tighter. The 6 was too short. I bought this slipper and the Ugg Dakota, in a 6. Both are very comfortable and really soft.

Best slippers ever. I usually wear a 7 and these 7s were pretty snug, I almost wished I went up half a size or so, but with time they have stretched out enough that it's not an issue. Everyone who sees them wants them. They're the most comfortable slippers I've ever owned. You can take out the sheepskin and wash it and there's memory foam in the sole. My husband wants a pair too! I will definitely buy from "Old Friend" again. :)

By far the most wonderful slipper ever. I live in north east USA and keep my place a cool 60 degrees in the winter. These slippers are perfect for keeping my feet warm, but not sweaty (crucial detail). Can wear them with socks, too, if I’m really frigid and there’s no hot feet discomfort. The soft bottom is perfect for inside the house, and doesn’t feel like a shoe in the "off chance" I fall asleep wearing them. True to size, width, etc. Wear a 9, ordered a 9, and it fits lovely! Can imagine wearing these in summer also. LOVE old friend and truly, these slippers are fabulous. I highly recommend them to anyone with feet! Thanks to Zappos for outstanding service, as always.

I love these slippers! They are very warm and soft. You can slightly adjust the tightness across the top with the lace and that is great! However, if you wear them outside and get them wet, the bottom will stain, but won’t be ruined. I would definitely recommend these to people who want a great slipper!

These were a gift for my wife. She loves them. So does our puppy, unfortunately. So far they have held well to the gnashing of tiny dog teeth, so that\'s a good sign. They\'re good for padding around our hardwood floors on cold mornings. Overall a nice, cozy slipper.

Zappos, you are totally amazing! I just ordered these after dinner last night and here they were today (one day) at lunch time! I purchased these for my hubby for Christmas and was envious that I didn't have a pair, so I ordered them and they are awesome so comfy and warm. Now Hubby and I have matching slippers. Soft Sole Moc - These slippers are so warm and comfortable. I can’t wait to get home from work every day to put them on. My feet are alway cold and these really keep your feet warm. I did have to order up a size because of all the fur.

Love these slippers! I absolutely love these slippers. They are so comfortable and don't make my feet overheat. I honestly look forward to putting them on when I'm at home. Since they don't come in half sizes, I went with the larger size (I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and bought an 8) and I'm glad I did. Even though they will stretch a bit, it's always better for a slipper to be slightly big than too small!

Just what I needed - You probably noticed the three stars for looks (fair to middlin'), but I bought them for comfort and utility, not glamour. I do medical transcription and have to feel my foot pedal; the soft sole allows this. When my feet get cold, my legs ache from arthritis, so the fleece keeps me nice and warm. I read one comment that the fleece is good to fill in the space for narrow or in-between feet. I actually have average to "pudgy" feet, and they often swell, but these Mocs give my toes plenty of wiggle room, perhaps because I got a 7 instead of usual 6 ½.

LOVE THESE SLIPPERS! I ordered two sizes because I wasn't sure whether a 7 or 8 would fit better. My 17-year-old daughter tried them on and said, "I want these!" I wear the 7 (in shoes I take a 7.5) and my daughter wears the 8. We kept both pairs. We both love them and wear them all the time. ZAPPOS is great. We received them very quickly. I've ordered from ZAPPOS before and would not hesitate to do it again!!

Love my Old Friends :) These are great! I am a half size so I ordered the half size down and they are fine... I look forward to coming home to them every day. Best slippers I’ve had so far!

Comfort for the foot & sole! I find these Soft Sole Mocs just right--was given a pair of shearling lined mules with a hard sole a few years back, but my heels kept sliding out sideways because of the hard sole and its narrow heel. These allow my feet to remain balanced as I walk. My heels tend to slide sideways off most slippers and the wrap-around style of these makes walking in them secure and comfortable. The sole is thick enough for good cushioning, and the slipper is warm. I like the adjustable ties. It is easy to step in and out of these.

My favorites!! I love these slippers... I almost wish I’d gotten some with a rubber sole though because I want to wear them everywhere. Very warm and comfortable!

Cloud 9 - I loved them. They are soft & comfortable. As soon as I get home from work, I slip them on. I wish I could wear them to work. The most comfortable slipper I ever bought!!!!

Ought to be unisex - I bought these for my husband for Christmas. I had a really hard time finding inexpensive soft-soled moccasins, and was thrilled to find these on another web site, but when I came to Zappos, they appeared to be unavailable. I called customer service, and they found them right away under women’s! Anyway, the moccasins themselves are wonderful: the inside is soft, the outside is durable, and my husband loves that the tie is an actual shoelace, instead of one of those leather things. He almost never takes them off!

Old Friend Soft Sole Moc - Was satisfied with slippers, only come in whole sizes so they were a little short since the next size would be too large. I think they will break in with time. Very warm and comfy. Service is always excellent with Zappos.

It’s so warm!! I love the Old Friend's soft sole moc; it is such a warm one, that I'd definitely buy again when I wear them down. I also find that the price is very reasonable as I did some shopping around and this was the lowest I could get for its quality. It is also warm enough that it keeps my feet toasty, during the worst of the cold season we've had recently.

5 STARS! I love these mocs so much I have back ups! I have severe gout in my right foot which prevents me from wearing most of my shoes. I wear these soft soles everywhere. Outside when dry, shopping, I mean everywhere. The clean up really well. I have bought my daughters a pair, and myself the hard soles for wet weather.
