Very comfortable and stylish. I wear them in the hospital on my feet for 10 hrs per day and they are great.

New Balance Classics M574 are great, I have two pairs, one in all black , the other in black and white. These are excellent shoes if you intend on being on your feet for 8-10 hours a day. They hold up pretty well except for the rubber on the toe , which can be easily fixed with super glue after about 5 months of use. The thing that impressed me most about this specific pair of shoes is the sole. The sole is sturdy and tough, so it takes a long time to show wear and tear. And as usual, Zappos provided me with an excellent customer experience.

Have a wide foot and always have problems finding shoes that fit. Everyone has med. widths but found wide width as Zappos. Great pricing and quick delivery. Thanks!

PROs: I bought these shoes since I had a previous brown pair and they were VERY comfortable. I think it is due to the "En-cap" but I haven't worn the ones that don't have it. I liked grey due to it being neutral color. CONs: After wearing them for awhile, I noticed that the main problem with this shoe color combo is the white foamy part; it gets DIRTY. Also a thing I noticed with my old ones is the shoe strings get stretched out after heavy use and the strings come apart even when I tie them hard. Another thing I noticed with the old shoe is that the bottom is worn out that it is almost flat and has no tread left around the balls of the feet and heels. Overall I recommend these shoes due to its comfortably usually out of the box or at least a few weeks of wearing it. Also I have seen this shoe worn by actors in movies by Paul Rudd if that is any consolation.

This shoe is ok if you get the sizing right. I needed to get one-half inch longer than I normally wear. I wear an 8 men's and needed a 8.5 lenght for this shoe. Also, this shoe is narrower than marked. I usually wear a size D men's but needed an E width for this shoe. The style of the shoe is very nice. So, if you get the sizing right, this shoe is ok. Zappos has a great return policy. With free shipping back, it is easy to return a pair of shoes and get the right size. Also, it seemed that I got my shoes the minute I ordered them. Really, it was over night and you can't beat the service of Zappos!

The shoe looks ugly after a few wears! The color has faded, the shape has changed and the stitching near the toe has come out! Total failure and will never buy NB again! They use to make quality footwear but not anymore!

Really like this shoe. Will be ordering another pair in a different color soon. Highly recommend.

As someone with a wide foot, New Balance was always a shoe of choice for me. I have a pair of trainers and tennis shoes from them, and both fit perfectly. But more and more, New Balance's "wide"... not so much. I tried on a pair of 574's in 12D at a local store, and they almost fit. So I was sure the EE would be perfect. Bizarrely... they seemed to be NARROWER than the D's I tried on in the store. I'm 0 for my last 4 or so on New Balance... been availing myself of Zappos' amazing logistics to return a lot of shoes lately.

Good-looking shoe, but man is it running small. I have size 11 1/2 NB 505's that I need to replace, and these shoes, supposedly the same size, are way smaller, both in length and width. Disappointing.

This purchase was for my 15 year old son. I was pleased with the overall experience. The customer service reps are the best.

The right shoe started to acquire random holes in it. One by the toe, another by the left logo, and the last right on the seam next to the sole. It's weird this happened because I've had an older pair of New Balance shoes last me 6 years before it started falling apart.

Wonderful product. I am glad that my son can wear his orthotics with them.

I love the comfort and style of these shoes. They fit wonderfully and are comfy right out of the box. The style is understated and they look great with anything. The only drawback is durability. I have been wearing them 5 days a week for almost 4 months and one shoe already has a hole in the toe and they are starting to look a little shabby. Admittedly, I am tough on shoes, but I was hoping they would last a little longer.

Returned. First day I wore them outside in sprinkles. That night I noticed the red had bled onto the white shoestrings and my socks. That doesn't work for me.

These shoes are retro stylish but poorly made. I've worn them on and off for about a month. I noticed the other day that the sole of the toe was starting to peel off the footbed. Not good. The heel ion the right shoe s starting to look suspect as well. Bottom line: Good price, marginal quality.

This is my second pair of NB, same model. They're very comfortable and great for walking around the city. I normally wear 8.5 but that felt a bit too tight, so I had to get them in 9. I'd definitely buy them again.

Comfortable shoes not too stylish. Just bought them to wear with shorts if I don't feel like wearing flip flops!

Perfect sneakers. I use these for running errands and casuals days. They hold up well for the lower-end New Balances.

Outstanding service with VIP Zappos...24 hours and they were delivered to my cube at work. These shoes are great, they wear well, I have always worn a size 12, these are a 13, but no biggie, that is why I keep ordering what works for me, this is my 3rd pair from Zappos. So comfortable, put them on and did a mile + walk at coffee break...love my NB 574.

I bought my second pair of these recently. When I first put them on, they felt narrow around the ball of my foot. I noticed this with the first and second pairs, so I figure that's just the way they fit my feet. They break in easily and are durable for the amount of walking I do, with my previous pair lasting 8 months.

These were absolutely NOT true to size; I'm a 7 in every shoe I wear, but these stupid things were easily 2 sizes too small. Just once I'd like a brand to release smaller sizes that aren't just scaled down versions of big shoes.

These are great, I've been rocking them for about a year. They don't have the color I bought anymore, but they look awesome. I'm back to possibly by another pair, so that tells you how good they are.

Got this shoe because I heard excellent review from my brother. Super comfortable, fits great. Blah Blah Blah. The biggest things I noticed was that the actual "footprint" of the shoe was quite wide, closer to the width of a boot than sneaker, I've typically worn Vans. Also, the sole is much thicker, especially in the heel. Just walking and wearing them around, not a big deal, but they did take some getting used to for driving. I drive a manual transmission and it took some time getting comfortable driving in them. I actually have to move my seat back a "click" when I wear these. Also have to work on placement, so I don't graze the next pedal. These aren't negatives, just what I noticed. Driving an auto trans, probably wouldn't even notice a difference.
